- It's Travel Day!!! This time we are going from Heathrow to Los Angeles (LAX) for a 12 night trip to Disney, the Lakers, the Beaches and lots of family fun and food.
This vlogs takes us on a Virgin Atlantic flight across the pond after our Stay at the Premier Inn at Heathrow. After this we have a drive to Anaheim to our Hotel, the Holiday Inn Buena Park.
It's Day 1 of another Hackett Family adventure.

We have been visiting WDW since 1992 but August 2023 we are going to Disneyland California looking forward to watching these vlogs 😀

Thanks to you guys we’ve just booked a California road trip for May 23… been thinking about it for a while as we’ve done Florida for years. There’s just me & the hubby as our kids are grown up now & have their own holidays booked. Love watching your little family though as your girls are gorgeous … Sassy Sienna makes me laugh so much & Scarlett is gorgeous too 💕

@@HackettFamily I went to Los Angeles and Las Vegas recently. Was awesome trip and flights. Sadly the outbound flight was changed to a B787-9 too. Hopefully do A350-1000 another time

Cool. Most international visitors usually go to Disney World. It's cool that you guys went to Disneyland in California.
Thank you. To be honest we go to both. We’ll be returning to Disney World in August. Disneyland allows me the excuse to go watch the Lakers 😉.

74 days until we do the same trip but starting in Wigan rather than Blackpool. Same hotel at Heathrow too 😁
Wow, Amazing. Heathrow Hotel was good and great value. The only change I’d make is our airport parking. Keep watching and subscribe and hopefully we can pass on some tips for you. Have a great trip! We’ve 15 weeks until our next one.
We are booked in the purple parking next to the Premier Inn as we are staying there when we get back. There’s a free shuttle to the terminals from Purple too

Very well thank you. I’m not sure how strict they are, because we’ve never been overweight with our baggage. Sorry.

How did you find the LA holiday in for the 12 nights?
Do you mean how did we fit it in? Good planning 😉. We had more than enough time and had an amazing experience, as you’ll see. The big point is that Disney is only 2 parks, so completely changes how long you need at Disney alone. I’d agrue with anyone, in Orlando you need 2 weeks to do Disney World properly, not really the case in Cali.
Sorry that was suppose to say LA Holiday Inn, the hotel? Looked amazing. Was thinking of booking this hotel for next year with a two teenage kids and a 8 year old and wife. Is it a good base and is parking free for guest?
@@starman7982 it was nice. Pretty basic pool and amenities and we never ate there, but lots of good stuff really close. Target and Wendy’s across the street, Walmart and lots of restaurants a mile away. Parking was free and they provide a free shuttle to the parks, which we used every time for Disney. Room was clean and ok for the 4 of us and we got food value via Virgin Holidays. Did exactly what we needed, was close to Disney and next to the Freeway to get to everything else. It’s in Buena Park, so then about 20-30 mins from everything (LA, Beaches).
Can you tell me which Holiday inn you stayed at?
It’s the Premier Inn London Hayes, Heathrow (Hyde Park)
I mean when you arrived in LA ;) I can see a few holiday inn hotels in LA but tried to look for the one you stayed at
