We purchased a Blackstone from an individual who was not cooking gluten free. Is cleaning with water and oil enough to make it safe to cook a gluten free meal for someone who has Celiac's or do we need to worry about cross contamination?
When I’ve eaten at Mongolian grills they clean the surface with oil and water when you say you have an allergy. I think a good clean when the grill is really hot should more than likely do it. Unless the grill needs to be reseasoned. If it doesn’t have a nice surface it won’t come as clean. If that’s the case you’d want to reseason the surface following blackstone’s videos on their RUclips
