Same here!!! Fly High, Before & After Intro (Fly High intro), Good Night, and My Toys Intro (Good Night Intro) were all in my top ten on my Apple Music recap for 2022
Something to remember is where they dropped the book, next to a tree. In the Dystopia trilogy each m/v about how language is used to harm is centered around a much larger tree that has grown for a long time (and the book is right there beside it). I love SuA's whisper rap in Good Night. We didn't get it again until BEcause four years later and it was worth the wait! but I hope we don't have to wait as long til they bring it back again. Looking forward it's widely acknowledged that You And I, What, and Piri just keep getting better (leading into what I call Dreamcatcher's Golden Age: the eras from Deja Vu, Scream, Boca, Odd Eye, BEcause with most of their most popular songs).
I did not know about the movie Room 1408. The room number 808 in Chase Me might be a reference. Also, there are a couple of RUclips explainers on the Nightmare series by Sua's SinB. It is not definitive, but I found it helpful. Finally, check out the trailers (not teasers) for Chase Me, Good Night, and Fly HIgh. They fill in the gaps a little and are fun.
The company never releases an official explanation for ANYTHING leaving Insomnia to interpret the story. Many Insomnia are taught the wrong order of the plot and repeat it to others, so it might not make much sense when you see the members as humans in early 1900s (Fly High), *somehow* turned spirits in modern times but without explanation (Chase Me, Good Night), then humans in early 1900s again (You And I), then spirits in modern times again (What, Piri). It seems apparent to me You And I follows Fly High and leads into Chase Me because of the setting and... it shows how they're cursed from humans into spirits. But some Insomnias tell it the other way since the word "prequel" isn't attached to You And I.
fly high was one of those growers for me, now it's one of my favs... you & i is one of the most loved titles but my least fav, what is the most underrated title imo, it's a banger!! then u get piri another good song!! hope u enjoy the ride!!
You should isolate your microphone because it's picking up a lot of background noise. Most people do this by attaching it to a small telescoping arm. Color plays a huge role in Dreamcatcher songs, especially in their outfits. The colors red and blue have great significance for Koreans, and Chinese as well. You can see this most clearly in Fly High when the song begins with them all in red which is a very positive color. As they transition into darkness, the outfits change to mixed red/blue/white, then to solid dark blue at the end when their dark sides have control of them.
Okay I've actually found out recently the most logical story line order and the story goes as : 1-Fly high ( yoohyeon burning the magic spider 4:03) 2-you and i 3- what 4-piri 5-chase me (the spirit hunter seeks for them) 6- good night ( they win against him) I don't want to spoil the rest but Once u react to the other three i will complete the ideas missing for each song .

Fly High is capturing the innocence before their corruption, hence the more girly aspects.
The robes are part of the official merchandising so insomnia always look like a cult or coven in concerts lol
