- This is my review of the D-Class Dual-Motor Scrambler electric bike from Ariel Rider. With dual 750W motors, AWD, top speed of 33 MPH, 4" fat tires, 18Ah battery, hydraulic disc brakes, LED front and rear lights, and a stealthy matte black design, this ebike is so fun to ride!

Ariel Rider seems like an outstanding company in the E bike world...I bought one of the first of the X-class and have been very pleased with all aspects of the deal,good quality at a resonable cost...I was not expecting top quality suspension parts and the front and rear units were budget items...much to my surprise I received an email from Ariel Rider stating that they didn't think the front fork was up to their standards and they were sending a replacement at no cost to me,well i received the package and the replacement is a very nice unit and it looks and feels expensive...again I did not complain about the original front fork,I expected some budget items on the bike...Ariel Rider just seems like a quality company to do business with...I ordered the new X-class 52V in red,so Ariel Riders good faith dealing means they get more business from me and hopefully others...I do not have an affiliate deal with Ariel Rider or anyone else,I'm just a satisfied customer

I really like the simplicity and design of the D class than the new Grizzly model. I dearly hope they will read this and make the D class with dual motor, dual suspension and dual battery. I will but that.
Yes, I own one of these and it’s an amazing bike!!! I have a lot of fun riding it in the summertime & with family.

Outstanding! Runs great, looks great, exactly what I wanted. I have one and have been using it over 1000 miles and with almost zero issues. Once my derailleur was bended (old models don't have those protectors) but they send a new one within a week. Also happy with customer service from Ariel Rider.

Awesome video, i just bought one as my first eBike this week. Surprised for such a beefy bike, it has a bell instead of a horn. Other than that the brand is so lowkey that I hope in the future it’ll get more word of mouth and attention like Super73.
I own an X-Class from Ariel Rider. The quality appears to be very good. It's a very solid machine. For X-Class or D-class I advice to order a mirror as these bikes are fast.

I have a gas powered motor bike that I made from a cruiser type bike from Walmart, but it's kinda janky sometimes. It's really fun to ride, but it would be nice to have that sleek and quite electric motor, and not have to pay for fuel. And dude, that display is a sick feature!
Great video Ben I bought the X bike just didn’t see any reason to pay an extra $700 for the D and 2-3 mph, and less range??? My only complaint is the seat that’s not very comfortable, but an easy fix at a friend that does upholstery!!! The tourque on both bikes is incredible!! I’m 235 lbs and no problem going up hills!!! Well anyways brother have fun and keep the videos coming

On my first ride, I also felt that uncomfortable bumping from the bike when coasting. It’s is very uncomfortable and very annoying. You mentioned that you experienced something similar. Can you elaborate on what you were experiencing and how it was corrected? Great Video and thank you for all the great tips and suggestion.
Contact their support. I had to full deflate the tire, rebalance it around the rim, then inflate

use Polyurethane Glue for the hand grips.
gorilla glue and titebond both make polyurethane glue.
it's waterproof so it will last in the outdoors.
Long wait for new orders, ordered mid November and won’t ship till February. Still pretty excited, even more so now!

Just an idea but lithium batteries suffer in heat an cold, DDT ok nt hesitate to insulate the battery a little, maybe fabricate a piece slips on of but leave room in between insulation and battery
How do you get a second battery for this ebike?
What’s weird is that it came in a box that’s big enough to fit a television, and have a graphic print on the side of the box. That does seem a little bit suspect.

I have the same bike but a different brand, but how do I go into the display settings to see the bikes pedal assist icon based on the levels of this feature.

They aren't stickers... maybe some kind of printing/transfer to metal (could not peel off)
Man I ordered two x class bikes from Ariel.. back in early April. Shipping date was supposed to be May 28.. They still haven't shipped. I was taking my vacation middle of June hoping to take those bikes to Austin.. Word to the wise.. Don't expect speedy service. Don't expect to buy what you want. No customizations allowed. You can't order what you want, unless purchased after you order online. Don't expect to be able to PAY for a bigger battery or different handlebars. They won't do it. I don't care if you want to pay, no is the answer you will get. They will let you know when they are ready to sell it to ya! Plenty of unused junk Ariel parts out there, because you HAVE to buy an extra. Nobody over there cares about people having extra parts that are brand new that you don't need or want! So far Ariel has ruined my vacation. They don't work with you to give you what you want.. I'd say they're pretty much a crap company(customer service wise), other than having a good quality product. Maybe look at a Rad bike or a Bakou.. I wish I had.
I’m debating between this one and the xclass 52v. I love the upright riding position of the Dclass and double motors, but the xclass has dual suspension and higher top speed and like the colors more, only thing holding me back is the very forward position on it, I don’t want my neck and back hurting. Thoughts anyone on which one I should get? Mainly for pavement, but also want to take it to do some offroad
Hi love your videos very informative I'm in the UK and would love your help I'd like to get a ebike with speed of 30-35mph and range of 30-50 miles as I've arthritis it would be great to have that freedom but as I say I'm in the UK could you recommend a bike that you have covered or suggest one that would be available to me in this country I know it's along shot but you are the guy to ask. Any thoughts would be great

Thats what I was thinking . Except there are no bike hitch carriers that can hold the weight of two grizzlys. I messaged Ariel and they did not have a suggestion.

Not a fan of the style/ look of those bikes. Plus at the price of that dual motor model, there are far better options. Buy a BBSHD and upgrade the controller to the Ludicrous controller from Lunacycle, and you have a 3000w motor that is stamped to be 750w. As long as you dont ride like an idiot, the police dont bother me. Fit that to any frame you prefer, my case a custom stretch cruiser with 3" wide tires, an 8spd geared hub, and dual 15ah 52v battery packs, and my bike hits 50mph with a range of 80 miles......thats using just throttle, if u pedal you get MUCH more range. See my profile pic......that costs me $2200. Total. Build it yourself guys. You will be glad you did.
