Hey guys, in this video we will show you how to remove and replace door speaker on Mercedes W208 CLK. We demonstrated how to remove and replace the front right passenger door speakers on a 1999 Mercedes CLK320. It should be about the same procedure for the driver side left door speakers as well. Some years and models might differ but this procedure will cover many years and models.

Cool guide, I might as well replace the crackling speaker in my mother's CLK now It seems pretty easy and on her car there's isn't any seat controls to worry about, just the door handle and the wires.

you don't need to remove wooden seat control panel. you might crash it. just remove socket

I cracked mine expensive to replace. You are correct just disconnect the back wire. face palm. Also best not to pry the door pull instead you can use two fingers to pop the top highest end off. There's another guy made a video shows that then nearly rips the door panel off. lol don't do that gently lift straight up.

Yeah. Definitely do not pry at the seat controls. I just chipped the little wood panel. All you have to do is loosen the whole door panel off and unplug the control from behind it.
