My brother used to make this sandwich that was like a BLT; but, without the lettuce. Instead, he used fried apples, bacon, tomato, and some kind of soft cheese--maybe ricotta. It sounds gross; but, it's actually tasty. To fry the apples, he heated oil in a cast iron skillet and put apple slices in it. He would drain the slices on paper towel. When all of the apple slices were cooked, he would return them to the skillet and caramelize them with brown sugar. This wasn't fair food; but, it could have been if my brother ran a restaurant; or, even a food truck.
All this food looks soooo good (don’t watch these videos when hungry)! Wasn’t sure about the sweetcorn ice cream though 😮 also the deep friend snickers bar looked amazing! We’ve been doing deep fried / battered chocolate bars since the 90’s here in Scotland, so it’s great to see how other places do it too - gotta try some over in the US sometime!! Here, you can even get it in beer batter for extra unhealthiness 😂 Please keep doing these videos, this series has been fantastic so far especially as someone who knows very little about US food ❤

Oh my... This was a fun video. Next year I have to try the corn ice cream with the bacon. You've peaked my curiosity. Being Norwegian, I tried the Crispy Lutefisk - My hubby and I liked the Lutefisk and the slaw, but the steamed bun was low test. Thanks for sharing all the info!

Sweet corn ice cream actually sounds interesting. My siblings and I weren't allowed to eat "weird" foods at the fair. Maybe I should go back as an adult to try some.
Sure that lutefisk doesn't translate to "rude fish?" I'm not typically much for fish in general, that dish sounds like projectile hurling in the making.
