This was a really good video. Taking the time to to walk us through the apartment empty and then furnished. I've seen a couple of apartment tours and this is definitely amongst the ones I enjoyed as per details. Thank you sis for all you do.
Great job Marina...kudos! It's a nice apartment for starting life in Canada. The apartment looks like mine, difference is the laundry. I've tried the shared laundry thing in the US and it didn't work for me, so in-unit laundry was very important to me because I can wash for Africa and prefer to do my laundry at night or early morning. We appreciate the effort Marina. Keep soaring! And you look great!
The apartment is sooo cool, i wish they made the kitchen a bit better or with different cabinet colour. i love love the laundry room, very smart of the property managers. I love the furnished version
I totally agree! The cabinets drove me crazy when I was there. The facility manager mentioned they were changing all of them to how the show suite looks so that should be good.
The apartment reminded me of my first in the US. It was a town house but a 2bed 1 bath. I almost screamed as the hausa girl that I am the first time I saw it. The only thing I could think of what if all my bridal furniture was shipped to the US 🤣🤣 . Then it made me appreciate home more (Nigeria). But paying for laundry? Wow, I would be hissing all the time if I ever were to do so. I will kuku wash with my hands. I love that it has enough storage space, I live for space, lots of it!
Hahahaha, I would have opted for the washing by hand, except that there we have snow more than half the year. I can wash but no where to dry the clothes. So I close my eyes and pay. Thanks sis
i live in one of these apartments in saskatoon and to do laundry is 2.50 each (washing and drying) soo 5.00 for one load of laundry but there also a chance of people stealing clothes for no freaking reason
Thank you so much Marina for taking out time to do this. I really wish a Nigerian based in Calgary is also doing this so we can get first information from there too. God bless you...keep flourishing!!
The apartment is nice love the living room space and it has a dining space but rooms are a little small but really ok for new comers like you said.. the show apartment is cool love the arrangement 💯💯

You're such a darling. God bless you so much for all you do. I really appreciate the information you dish out all the time and I have learnt a great deal. Thank you once again
Thank you for showing us what the apartment looks like!! I was told that for new immigrants it's kind of hard getting an apartment since you don't have much credit record and depending on the realtor you have to demonstrate up to 3 months rent in advance, so not all realtor are willing to rent a unit, it that the case with this one?
Beautiful apartment, I always believe when you get a good neighborhood you can make your interior decor comfortable the way you like. The sample decor looks great as always.
Thanks for the video very educative. I would love to ask how many sq foot is the apartment also the bed in the last apartment is it a twin bed or a queen bed and can you do a video on different relators based on people experience. for example, when I check online most people complain about Mainstreet but their apartments are cheap. I will appreciate if you can talk a little about realtors in British Columbia and Ontario thanks. how can we choose a good realtor for renting? This will be really be appreciated especially when looking to land after this COVID-19 period. Thanks
The bed is a queen, I believe. When renting, I think the first emphasis should be on your needs and the functionality of the apartment before it is about the realtor. The realtor is important too, no doubt, I just dont know how we will determine which realtor isn't good. The views about Mainstreet are mixed especially because of the areas where most of their apartments are, that's why they are cheap. As for realtors in BC and ON, that may be a challenge as it will not be my first hand experience and I prefer to stay away from hearsays.
The rooms are so small😭😭😭. Are the 2 beds usually this small or this is just a standard one. I'll feel trapped, need to double my hustle so one can afford a bigger living area. Thanks for giving an insight, the rooms remind me of my UK room...... It was a bit depressing, I thought Canada had more landmass and hence bigger spaces.
This is very spacious for an apartment. I don't like the part where one will have to be paying for each wash, I rather have my own machine 😁. Wow, the furnished one is so homely.

Oh hello, great to meet you here!
Good job Marina! Another great vid. Please what size of bed did they have in that room? The room appeared small, can a Queen bed fit?
Will check again. A queen will fit it if the base and head boards are not too big.
Much more affordable than what we can get in BC. We really enjoy a lot of space in Naija oo.
BC means Bring cash, lol. It is a whole lot more expensive there. My apartment is Abuja had tiny rooms like this too and it was expensive.
