Loved the second in particular - quite sophisticated in its own way. Thank you for helping mellow a rather stressed human. Your quiet, unrushed approach is wonderful.
both prints are amazing, but the ghost is a wow
That monochromatic ghost print is utterly stunning! The first print is lively and interesting, but the ghost just pulls the viewer into it. Thank you for sharing! 👏👏👏👏👏👏😮
I am lusting after that ghost print. A masterpiece. Little flecks from earlier print and white lines. Blows me away.
I agree, Janene! 😊
I like both, but very much like the monochromatic print, especially the white lines. Very effective, both of them.
I'm loving the yellow, green, blue and white print on the first pull.
I see graffiti and mid century in almost everything you do.
My two favorite styles.
The ghost print is stunning ❤
Loving the black & tan ghost! Just superb! Ghostly! 😊And then seeing the two together- great together, too. But the black & tan is my all time favorite. I think the simplicity is its strength. 👏❤
I love the second one. So beautiful!!
Thank you! 😊
That gost print is soooooo coooool
I really love the one you identified as a mono print. It has so much dimension. Some pieces in it look 3D with shadows! Well done! You are such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your talents. ❤
thanks so much!
Those both turned out to be so beautiful! Thank you for sharing. 😊
Especially love that ghost print, and side by side they are stunning. Agree with others that they belong together.
Someday, if you're up to it, it would be wonderful for your newbie beginners on the large format plate to do one video (or even a series) answering all the questions you've gotten so far on process, registration, tools, papers etc... with demonstration videos illustrating each, and opportunity for Q &A, which I guess means it would be a live online teaching that gets recorded, like a Master Class that people pay to attend live online, and then have continued access to afterwards too. Evergreen access could also be sold to people that couldn't attend the live teaching. You have taken the gelli plate to new levels and many people could benefit from learning from you. Price it from a place of knowing your own value and all you have to share, making it worthwhile for you, and as affordable as possible for viewer's.
Maybe do a survey of your subscribers to see how much interest there is.
Thanks Carol for your enthusiastic response. No, I am not interested to teach beginners, You Tube has countless channels for that! I prefer to focus on esthetics and compositional technique. Gelliarts.com is excellent at this. Most of my viewers are advanced artists and educators themselves judging from their comments. Many of the questions regarding registration , tools and papers have already been covered in my 360 videos, so I don't see the need to repeat myself.
@artwhisperer88 oh, too bad. I've watched lots of the gelli arts videos and other RUclips'ers. What I like about your channel is that you go far beyond making collage papers on your plate, to making finished, stand-alone pieces. That's my area of interest. Anyway, thanks for responding.
Thanks for your inspiration
really really like the monoprint but it has some hints of color on the screen and the lovely textures!!
Yes! It IS a monoprint, but not monochromatic. Cool, right? 😊
I enjoyed to watch this video today. This weekend I got a date with stencils, masks and gelli plate. Lots of fun. I will try to use something like that to make a gelli print. Thanks for the tip.
The second print is awesome! Your work "speaks" to me. Or is in line with my..aesthetic?...what I find beautiful. So excited to try my hand at this. Thank you.
Thanks so much! You know the saying " you get it" 😄
I took a brief ‘vacation’ from my vacation to watch - and so glad I did! Just visited Denver Art Museum (fabulous) & was disappointed not to find prints of the calibre you are producing. Thanks, also, for the continued, some would say risky, experimentation - so inspiring!
Thanks as always Carol!
The last one is perfect! Congratulacions ❤🎉😮
Just love the unbleached titanium works with the black ghost print…and how it picks up the subtle remainder paint on the plate. bravo!
Very cool prints😍
Big love to ghost print.
LOVE that ghost print!!! I would have been completely satisfied after the first pull on the first print. So beautiful!
C'est tout simplement magnifique et surprenant ! This is a WOAW for both prints ! BRAVO.
Fulton, I'm inspired to experiment in the monochromatic palette! Thanks!
Had a typo, I'm definitely inspired!!
I KNEW that had to be a typo! 🥰
Thank you, very nice work, and i like the second layer very much
😃 I really like the black and white one. It’s awesome!
Love this, can’t wait to try it too!
I love the ghost very much..... fantastic ❤
Like, groovy, man!
Love these two.
Wow! This ghost print is fabulous!
The ghost print such a standout after all the bright colors….👏👏👏👍🤗
Especially love the ghost print. Of course, I come from black and white photography and love the minimalist beauty of the ghost!
The first was a bit too motley for me but that BW ghost was magnificent
Love it!!! than you :)
You're so welcome!
Goodness, the ghost print is just wonderful.
WOW! That ghost print is my all time favorite and the two pieces together are exquisite!!! Thank you so much for sharing your techniques, thoughts and ideas. Very much appreciated and enjoyed.
You are so welcome!
They belong together, yet are strong alone. Brilliant.
Really enjoying your videos. Thank you. I've used a palette knife to spread paint on my gel plate. It works really well with gold (I'm using Amsterdam gold acrylic). It's possible to control the thickness of the paint - giving a really thin layer with some interesting edge effects as it thins to nothing - and it gives a much smoother surface texture compared to the brayer.
How often do I say this: Love that ghost print!
EASILY my favorite! That ghost is stunning!
Thanks so much!
Interesting result with the scraper.. fabulous ghost print🎉
The Grey pull is really beautiful !
I agree both prints are beautiful.
❤❤❤
Fantastic pieces-especially the ghost print!
Glad you like it!
I would love to see how you would frame the last one. ( black and buff white).
Happy to say that piece sold. I would do a flat face 1/2 inch white frame with an off white mat under glass.
Absolutely gorgeous!
J'aime beaucoup le 2e et les formes des pochoirs, bravo !
Merci beaucoup 😊
I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for making them. Do you have a video that shows how you setup the camera? I like how stable the videos are and really focused so well on your work as you make it. I’m curious what you use to setup such great video setup. Take care.

Stunner!
Hi nice to follow your experiments. Did you ever make your own homemade Gelli plate?
No, I might try that someday. I have an upcoming experiment with a plastic table protector though, stay tuned!
bravo!
LOVE you channel and your work. Thanks for sharing! Question, how are you realigning the paper so well, also, are you watering down the acrylic paint for the black painted shapes ?
for registration tip please watch ruclips.net/video/Kykxbhcducw/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/JmHnT1M_NTw/видео.html. Yes I like to water down the black paint to make it flow better but it is tricky and takes practice.
@@artwhisperer88great, thx
Somehow I missed the video segment with layer #2 orange... don't know where to find it 😢
don't feel bad, sometimes my camera stops when it overheats, so that segment is missing.
Jesus H Christ ! If someone told me your work was actually by Robert Dulaney I would say of course it is ! wouldn't even question it
I love your videos and really love your work.
If you could please answer a couple of questions…
Which size plate do you use the most…12x14 or 16x20. Where is the best to buy?
What paper is the best to use that you like?
What is a good paper to practice with?..
How often do you clean the plate and with what and after cleaning do you coat with mineral oil?
I hope my questions are not to time consuming….I would love to know the answers.
Thank you so much…..I will continue to watch faithfully.👏👏🤗
