Your gelli plate printing process is the Zen of printing. You never clutter with aimless chatter. Thank you!
🙏🏻🙏🏻💖💖
Exactly!
My great grandchildren (5&7) were mesmerized. Usually they're nonstop movement, but they watched the entire video totally engrossed watching you work your magic❤ You inspired them to want to try their hand at printing, which i plan to do with them when i visit again in February. Many blessings to you Fulton❤
Aww you made my day! Hope you can send some pics! God bless. 🙏💖
@@artwhisperer88 I will😘
Your talent as a colorist is very inspiring.
Hi Fulton, how exquisite they all turned out. Thank you for the step by step process and tidbits along the way. So happy to see your new subscribers and popularity grow. Most of all, thank you for being so willing to teach and inspiring the artist in each of us. ❤️❤️
thanks so much Carol! 💖🙏🏻
A stellar series! The unexpected red squirt bottle adds spark to the beautiful backgrounds. Thanks once again! 🤩
Thanks so much!
These are all fabulous pieces! The pull, or as I like to say, the "reveal", is always *magical*. Splendid!
😍
Thanks so much!
I watch your videos to end my day. My mind slows to your pace. Lovely work. You take very good care of your plates and it shows with what you're able to pick up.
Thanks so much! 🙏❤️
Some of the prints off the plate are reminiscent of Klimt’s paintings, the graceful elongated postures. They were so perfect, I would have kept them just as they were.
Master of the gel plate, hats off to you, Fulton.
Thanks! They are for sale you know....
Thanks so much, Fulton. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos 😊
Starting the day with Fulton's Video is a good day 😊
Thank you, Mr. Sim, you are an inspiration!
Thanks for watching! 🙏💖
I love these. No matter what, the squirt bottle red mark making ties them together into a beautiful series. I hope that beyond your website, you have e a show or a gallery where you can display your work. #6 is genius.
Great pieces! Kind of a Peter Max feel going on.
Wow! Peter Max was my childhood superstar hero! His color sense stays with me to this day.
These look like very complex compositions- and yet you make it look so easy. I’m going to try these techniques. The small Brayer makes a difference!
thanks so much for watching! 💖💖
Gorgeous prints Fulton 💚
Another excellent video with pleasing results! Your process is soothing and yet quite educational. Thank you very much!
thanks as always Bob! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love these Fulton! All of them! I like the texture your watercolor paper gives. Just received a shipment from Jerry's of a new-to-me watercolor paper- New York Central. Inexpensive. Looking forward to giving it a try for both print/painting and watercolor. All the best to you- can't wait to see more of these! 🙏 Kris
💖💖🙏🏻🙏🏻
You are a genius! So simple and amazing finished prints! I was worried when you started adding the bright circles thinking they already looked wonderful but, wow, those additions....fantastic!!
Glad you approve, that is my painting style 😅
#6 ❤ 👍🏼
Thanks!
💖💖💖💖
What a great set of prints! Especially the last one - stunning!
Thanks so much!
Great print! Your favorite is also my favorite print - just stunning! 😍
Thanks so much! 💖
That looks like a great registration setup, easy to resize and heavy enough so it won’t move around. I hit the link in your comments about registration but it links to the two vinyl trim pieces only.
Enjoyed watching this loved the prints 😊
Wow !!! Less structured than your usual, but I must say these may be the most beautiful yet !*! The colors amd textures just sing❤
Thanks so much!
The Mint family and Pink is my favourite colour combination. My other favourites are Blue/Green, especially in darks and Yellow/Grey, especially pastels and light. There are probably more, but I can't think of it as it's way too hot where I am in New Zealand ... ☺️🥵 ... I am longing for Winter, my favourite season ... 🌧️⛈️🌨️🌬️
Thanks Caroline! I forget that it's summer right now where you are! Nasty cold and wet up here!
@@artwhisperer88 I would love our weather to be nasty, cold and wet right now ... 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 ... I feel so calm in that kind of weather ☺️
Beautiful prints... I can watch you doing that for hours!!! I don't know if you mind answering this, but the registration frame you use, with the thumb knobs; is that something commercially available or did you custom-make/order it? Cannot find that information in previous videos. Thank you!
it's a precious gift to me from a viewer. He wishes to remain anonymous, but gave permission to copy it from the video. Please watch ruclips.net/video/kZp6vtwpC_s/видео.html
These prints are mouthwatering…
@@artwhisperer88 Thank you so much, it's really cool!
I’m wondering why you don’t use pallet tools? Is it because of the threat of damaging the surface?
The plates are way too costly to take chances on! You can do that at your own risk and expense. I reserve palette tools for canvas painting.
thank you @@artwhisperer88
I’ve followed your method of cleaning and oiling my gel plate several times, yet half of the paint remains on the plate, the paper hardly picks up anything. And when i try to get a ghost print, nothing is picked up. Even if I work really fast. Just seems to dry too fast, or else maybe my plate is defective. I use Liquitex basics, Amsterdam, craft paints that are more fluid, have added a bit of retarder, but I hardly ever get a clean print and never ghosts
Any ideas about what I’m doing wrong?
sounds like you are doing everything right! You may have a defective plate. You could try to get a refund.
Thank you, Fulton
I'm glad to see no collage in these. Sometimes I really like a print that you've made, and then you add, to me, unnecessary collage. YOU'RE the artist, though. I have to remember that. Anyway, another great video, good sir.
Kurt Schwitters just turned in his grave from your comment!
Love to watch - but have something to say about markmaking - scribbling ! A scribbel is like a jazzsolo. You base it on the song, its harmonies and structure. You don´t mecanically play the same solo to every melody - no, you have to listen to the song and carefully create your solo ! Keep rolling !
thanks so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Excellent!
