47:47 Ptilopsis and Lappland is a best choice. Ptilopsis make every operator better restoring they skills 30% faster. Lappland, on the other hand, offers to silence some of your opponents' skills.
Honestly while the sp regen is good, he already got Perf for aoe medics, so I feel Lappland probably fits better to round the team out especially considering the 6* he got isn't exactly a high dps character, (I love Weedy, but before e2 and even e1 she's basically just there to stall things as a semi-centurion who can stun) and Lappland can provide that dps alongside some good utility for cheesing certain mechanics through silence.
@@bloodred255 would not say Thorns replaces Lappland considering how important silence is to Lappland's kit (which Thorns doesn't have and also is pretty mediocre until e2) and also the selector requires spending money, not that its that expensive, but if Bard isn't a spender then take that into account.
@@nicholasjacobs6605 The upcoming 6* selector is free for everyone, being a new addition to the beginner missions that older players retroactively get. The choices on it are Silverash, Exusiai, Mountain, Thorns, Saria, and Blaze (pretty Guard-heavy selector).
@@MoreK1ngBard It's just that in the recent month there's been a lot of people who started playing arknights and putting it on RUclips. You joined at the best time. Well, the second best time anyway. Welcome to Arknights' Dokutah. The story will be lengthy, the game kind of difficult, but as long as you read and strategize, you'll win. Have fun!!

Thank you so much for this! It’s good to know there isn’t a really back pick out of these characters. Lappland sounds really interesting and I might pick them. I appreciate the help.
@@MoreK1ngBard Remember its a strategy game, with a good strategy and a good borrowed unit you can past all history, like there are people that plays only 4 Stars and 1-2 6 stars and they complete the game. I can say some more tips if you want... Like Weedy she pushes the enemies, there are some uses if you see a hole or some map that have no floor and a wall between Weedy send most of the enemies flies
Also, I recommend doing some gacha first before picking your free 5* just to make sure you don't get a dupe. In this game, dupes are not super important unless you're a hardcore player.
I started 6 months ago and picked Lappland. I do not regret that choice at all. Learning more about the character in the story just made me love them even more! Also her EN VA is incredible.
Welcome Dokutah, been playing this game since launch. Congratulations on getting Perfumer, despite being 4 stars, I still bring her to endgame content. Her main utility is the global regeneration talent she gains when promoted to e2. It doesn't count as healing so it can slowly heal units that can't be healed (Juggernauts and Mushas) and it applies to everyone in the map even outside her range. Weedy might be a bit difficult to use but her pushing ability will open up some ridiculous strategies in the future. Her skill 3 even deals true damage as you're basically scraping the enemies on pavement while pushing them across the map! Don't forget to build your 3 stars first tho, they'll fill out any holes in your team in a pinch, and they'll stay valuable for other stuff like the Roguelike mode (Integrated Strategies).
my recommendations for 5 star permit: 1. Pick whoever you want. No one on the list is truely bad. Closest to that would be sora. 2. Pick what your team is missing. Its really good to start with a balanced team (2 vanguard/defender/healer/sniper/caster/guard) 3. Ptilopsis. Her archetype heals 3 people at a time. And she globally charges most ults faster. Her 2nd skill heals so fast it feels like everyone in her range is invincible. I know you got perfumer, the 4-star version of that archetype, but all she really has going over ptilo is that slow global heal that works on unhealable operators. Even the 6 star version of this archetype is sometimes benched for ptilopsis because that global ult charge boost is too nice.
Oh dang thank you so much for this!! I had a feeling there really isn’t a bad choice especially early on in the game. Ptilopsis sounds like a good character to get 🤩
Okay, so Projekt Red is basically an assassin. Her fast redeploy ability mean you can put her anywhere then withdraw her and put her else where. You use her to pick off your enemies. To put it more simply, she's one of the operators you can move around. (although you can do the same thing with all of the operators but operators like Projekt Red is like a special kind xD)
@MoreK1ngBard make sure once you upgrade her to Elite 1, use her 2nd skill. It turns her into a mini-nuke on weak enemies when dropping her directly on the said enemy.
1:00 It could be. The opening sequence is one of lingering mysteries of Arknights. And it appears to be REALLY important. They even included it in the Arknights anime. About the identity of the "Dragon", there are several theories and we have learned of some possibilities (Feranmut, Beast Lords, First Civilization shenanigans) but the truth remains unclear. But strange fact about the date mentioned by the mysterious voice: December 23 is Amiya's birthday.
Oh my gosh that is interesting!!!! So we have no idea who that is even after all of this time??? Very interesting 🤔 Yhats gotta be a huge reveal someday I would think right? And that is a cool fact, it’s Amiya’s birthday month 🤩
They sure like to yap our ears off. I'm a bit interested in the story, since we're getting a collab with them in Limbus, and some characters look really cool, but I wonder if I'll be able to endure that writing. As for lies on the TV - this is a certified hood classic. Not surprised a single bit.
Yeah there is a lot of reading in this but like you said, the characters look really cool and so far the story has me intrigued. I definitely am curious to see where this story goes and how good it gets.
Was waiting for this after I saw you mentioning starting the game in the wake of the collab announcement. Good luck! Edit: you may or may not have noticed, but a cool feature of AK is that you can choose voice language by character, so if you like one more than the others you can change them on a unit-to-unit basis.
Thank you!!! I am excited about continuing this journey. What a wild ride huh. Who knew playing Limbus Company was going to open up a whole other world for me lol. And I didn’t know that about the voices! That is so cool, thanks for letting me know about that.
Always nice to welcome a new doctor - especially one that can read... I started playing Arknights a couple months after launch. Shirayuki remains a staple in my main squad after all this time. She's an AoE sniper with ridiculous range - and her first skill extends her range by two tiles. Try taking advantage of that. After promoting her, you can use her second skill, which causes her shurikens to spin in place after hitting the target, doing continuous AoE damage for a couple seconds. I'd make it a priority to deploy her early; she can devastate the enemy in these beginning stages, even without leveling her up. With her range, she can engage and destroy them long before the enemy reaches your melee operators. There's also some operators that can be purchased in the store with in-game currency - red certificates earned in the supply stages: Ethan is a 4 🌟 Ambusher Specialist that does damage over time, but doesn't block or get attacked; you merely place him in the enemy's path, and he shreds them as they pass. Caper is a 4 🌟 Sniper that uses Xena-style boomerang chakrams. The closer the enemy is, the quicker her chakrams return, and the faster she attacks. A 6 🌟 operator of this type is coming up in a banner pretty soon. Pudding is a 4 🌟 Caster that uses chain lightning. Breeze is a 5 🌟 Medic that heals 3 allies at once. Her second skill ("S2") changes to an AoE heal that targets one ally and covers anyone in the surrounding 8 tiles. You can also use red certificates to purchase "memory fragments." These are used in the Archive tab in the lower left corner of the main screen. Enter Intelligence, then Special Operations to find stories that previously ran as events. These didn't have stages set up like normal chapters; they were straight-up stories to read. Under each title are 3-7 individual vignettes. You unlock each one with a memory fragment, and you unlock rewards for doing so, highlighted by the orange notification symbol in the upper right corner of the screen; including new operators, new skins for other operators, furniture for your base, or profile pics, plus some supplies for unlocking a full set of vignettes. They're all good reads, full of lore, but you don't have to read them to get the rewards, just unlock them. There's also some 20~ish Side Stories and Intermizzis; previous events that have been permanently added to the game under the Terminal tab. Most of these will let you unlock a new 5 🌟 operator after clearing four or five stages in the event. You get one crystal to unlock these Side Stories each week, and you can only hold two crystals, so even if you're not going to do them right away, its best to unlock one every week so they'll be available when you're ready. The new operators can be especially helpful when you don't have a lot of operators in your roster, but less useful if you've already picked up tons of other operators off gacha. Still, free is free. Start with the Side Story "Grani And The Knight's Treasure," the first and easiest event released. This includes the Vanguard Grani as the unlockable operator. As for the 5 🌟 selector, it might be best to go with Lappland. A Lord Guard, she has extended range attack that imposes silence on enemies. Great for blocking solo, but also to place _behind_ another melee operator, where she can attack over them _and_ catch any enemies they can't block ("leaks"). She also has an "Alternate" version coming next year, Lappland De Decadenza. Alternates are older, more experienced versions of existing operators, usually tied to certain events. (You just missed the most powerful Alternate, W's Wiš'adel Alter, affectionately known as "W'alter," or "Cheat Code.")
@@ARKMerry While its probably a bit too much information overall (like the talk about future operators that are out in CN right now isn't probably necessary as there are people who don't want to hear about future stuff that hasn't come out in the current version of the game or the talk about how you just missed a certain operator as the player can't really do anything about that and just makes them feel left out), Bard did ask for assistance and information and most of what was provided is useful information for a player who is just beginning.
Yeah I definitely will take any tips and advice I can get. I really do appreciate the help, it really does help me learn a bit faster than trying to figure things out on my own so comments like this doesn’t bother me at all. 😊
@MoreK1ngBard I included the info on Alternates because I saw another new Doctor pull 3 🌟 Fang and her 5 🌟 Alter just 30 minutes apart, and she was completely confused.
Welcome to Arknights! Lappland is the most recommended pick for the 5-star selector. She's the one good 5-star that you can't obtain from Recruitment. She can consistently apply silence to an enemy to disable their abilities, which is useful against the exploding spiders or the dodging enemies for example. Also, since she is a Lord guard, she has good range and can hit air, and she deals decent damage when her S2 is active. (A limited 6-star version of her will be released in about 5 months). Specter is another great choice. She is a Centurion guard, she attacks all enemies within her range up to block count and has 3-block at E2. Her S2 gives her a massive attack boost and prevents her from dying for its duration (clutch factor, heck yeah!), and her talent gives her health regen at E2. Also, she is an Abyssal Hunter, which is probably the most synergistic faction in the game (she's kinda selfish though, she doesn't provide any buff to the other abyssal hunters until E2 mod lvl 2+). (There is a limited 6-star version of her btw.) (Ulpianus, who will get released next update on December 3, is also an Abyssal Hunter.) Otherwise, Ptilopsis is a great AoE medic. Her S2 increases her healing rate and lasts for a while. Her talent increases the SP recovery rate of all operators while she's deployed. Before you pick, you can try them out as support units. Raise any operator to E1 first so you have access to S2. Keep in mind that we'll get another 5-star selector in January.
Thank you so much for this!!! Those 3 characters I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying to choose from. I love your breakdown of them as well, that helps me a lot. I also can’t believe we will get another selector in January! Do they do this often?
@@MoreK1ngBard We get a new 5-star selector every January, each with more choice than the last. Also, tomorrow, we'll get an exceptional package with a 6-star selector for a 6-star of the new beginner banner (I suggest to pick Thorns or Mountain since they are good laneholders, but you can't really go wrong with anyone here), as well as a "promote any 5-star to E2" ticket and a "raise any E2 5-star to max level" ticket.
Welcome to Arknights! I also really like project red cuz not only does her e2 skin perfect, she’s literally just like a nuke in the game , and is really useful in later maps to clear enemy casters and explosive bugs(btw you can retreat operators by tapping the red sign on the top left once you tap the operator
i too have recently started arknights after the limbus collab announcement, got a ton of free stuff, currently stuck on 2-4, so yeah, have fun till then
Welcome. Most people recommend Lappland, due to her range and ability to silence enemies after promotion (but they recommend her to everyone, so its up to you whether to follow the crowd or not :) Specter is good choice, she is good laneholder with invulunarability on skill 2. Also Pramanix is so fluff, does it count? :D Important: avoid Texas and Cliffheart, those you'll get for free by other means.
Lappland and Specter are probably the most popular choices for most new players. Ptilopsis is another good alternative choice if you don't have a medic you like yet, though I personally like Perfumer more. Early game your squad is going to change a lot from stage to stage and single unit carries aren't really a thing in Arknights. You'll need to get a feel for the ops and see which ops work with other ops and form a squad based on synergy.
Yeah Lappland, specter and ptilopsis have been the names I’ve been seeing a lot of. It’s really good to know that squad building is fluid so there really isn’t a terrible choice. Thank you for this!
It's worth leveling and even maxing out the 3*s in this game. They are very cheap to level and fairly strong. In the roguelike mode later you will have to take some 3*s, so even if your main team has outgrown them they'll still have an important use. Kroos in particular is an absolute powerhouse for her rarity and one of the top 3 most picked in the roguelike - you cannot go wrong investing in her.
Just a few suggestions for the 5 star selector, something different to what every streamer gets pushed too: Try grabbing Nearl, a defender and healer in 1 package with a global healing buff. Sorta basic but a solid choice for all stages. Pramanix (the first one you saw in the small selector) is not a common beginner pick because she's a complex archetype, but after some leveling she shines by allowing the rest of your team to hit harder and begins hitting 2 target by default. Blue Poison is another straightforward unit (a sniper) but makes a good core damage dealer that can be used effectively in almost every stage, usually glossed over for more gimmicky units. Nice to see another new doctor trying Arknights, good luck with your pulls.
Oh shoot thanks for those suggestions! It’s good to have a good mix of characters to think about getting 🤩 Plus I was told there will be another selector in January which is awesome. Thank you so much for the suggestions and the welcome 🤩
I wanted to contradict your video because the thumbnails are two different things. You’re new but questioning if the game is still good. 😂 However, after watching for a bit, I’m actually drawn in because my man, you have a great voice for narrating. As an avid player, it’s exciting to find new Doctors. It’s not for everyone and I get it, but I hope you find some great fun in the world of Terra!
I was actually feeling the same about the text in the thumbnail. I’m like does it make sense because I haven’t played it but I know the game is loved 🤔 That is too funny honestly lol. Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🤩 I am honestly really enjoying this game and will absolutely be continuing to play this. I’m editing the next part so hopefully I can get that out in a few days. 🤞🏻 Thank you again.
Yoooo, wasn't expecting this. Well, half-expecting it after the Limbus announcement, but still. For the 5* selector, I would say Lappland. Having easy access to the Silence debuff (and a long-lasting one, at that) will make things smoother later down the line.
Yay!!! It gives me time to get ready for the collab lol. And Lappland is one that I keep seeing people suggest so I think I will get her! Thank you for the help 🤩
Red is cool, glad you like her. Just remember - she's supposed to come, solve some problems and go away, not just stand there. Most of the time anyways. I strongly suggest to pick Lappland from the selector, she's great. Perfumer! She's an AoE healer, and as a newcomer i struggled without any for quite some time. She's one of my favorite healers to this day. Don't sleep on lower rarity characters in general, by the way. Yes, 5* and 6* get flashy skills and might solve a lot of problems, but 1-3* are extremely cheap to raise and are quite capable. Lots of 4* are also pretty damn good even 5 years into the game. Weedy, nice! She's not going to beat the entire game on her own for you, but she's the best "pusher" specialist we have, as in she pushes enemies into walls and holes, and can stall very well. To this day i don't have her for myself, unfortunately. She's supposed to be a sea horse, by the way. Wanting to get Ebenholz is extremely based. Funny goat man is VERY fun to play with. I'll be waiting for the continuation of your adventure. 🍵
Thank you so much for the advice! It’s been amazing to see so many people tell me that the lower star characters are really powerful too I am so excited to continue playing this game and continue to learn. Thank you so much for this comment again 😊
For pulls, F2P can get roughly 65 pulls a month, 75 with the $5 monthly pass. On average you get a 6* every 34 pulls. There's also a free Recruitment system which is a separate gacha you can pull 4-6 times a day. It is possible to get 6*s this way as well. I've pulled 5 in the past six months. There are around 1250 OP you can get in game completing all the stages. This is the paid currency, and that's enough for 400 pulls or 70-80 skins. There's also a shop with a rotating selection of 6*s you can buy with gold certs. You will likely get enough of these to buy a 6* of your choice every 2-3 months. I would recommend not spending them on anything else. There are also dozens of free 5 and 6*s you can get just playing the stories. It's a very generous system overall. It's not unrealistic a new player could get 20-30 6*s in their first six months playing.
The banner with the 4 6 stars is actually really good, they are all really powerful units, straight up all 4 of them are minsters. Tbh outside like 2 free 6 stars there are really no ''unusable'' arknights 6 stars, and even lower rarity operators are pretty usable (the game is balanced on the 4 stars actually, there are some people that clear the entire content with only those), Ebhenholz is really good but he is strictly a boss killer, he is a caster that does insane damages at single targets and with the right buffs can even one shots bosses with one skill activation, the thing is that he does just that poor lad, still a good unit though
That’s awesome that there really isn’t a terrible character in this. That is rare in games honestly. Thats really cool Ebenholz is a boss killer, he definitely gives that vibe. So if I do end up getting him someday I will know what to do with him.
for further tips - you can beat chapter 1 to 7 with 3-4 star only and 1 six star for few stages but of course it depend on how well you understand boss mechanic, enemy skill and you operator kit -Never spend originium prime the premium currency for pull, only use pull using orrundum (the red stone) use OP only for skins, in arknight there no premium skin, all can be bought with in game currency and assuming you pick you taste you will get any skins just by beating stages, you will unlock stage to farm orrundum weekly and orrundum also available for daily reward -priotize operator that you will use long term because early player will be grinding specially material farming -when you have operator at elite 2 don't upgrade it to max lvl, just to lvl 60, like in reverse where at I3 you just left it at LVL 30 because further up its expensive and not worth the resources here same case -the pity on arknight is around 60-70 pull -each year there at least 4 standard limited banner, summer event, half anniv, sui siblings event and anniv event -the gap between CN and global server is 6 month (in fact global anniv is on the summer event) -like in reverse where in limited banner you can spark the rated up character after 200 pull specially if you still didnt get it in arknight limited banner spark is 300 pull (currently after 5th anniv they already reduce it 200 one by one after each limited banner until it catch up) and lastly as someone aleady mention it arknight is LORE HEAVY this game lore basicly watered down version of warhammer 40k, everythings sucks, and yet it keep progressing
Oh my gosh thank you so much for all of this!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to share all of this info, it definitely helps out. And I am really enjoying the story so far and am so curious to see where it goes 🤩
The first operator you pulled (Shirayuki) was also my first operator I pulled! She’s actually my favorite character, so it was kind of fitting that I got her first. 😅 Sadly she’s not very relevant in the story (despite how high of connections she has to very powerful people) or in the gameplay meta. But I used her for every stage for my first two years of playing! Her large range with her first skill was the biggest in the game for a few years (only beaten now by some subclasses with large default ranges and a few characters with a global/infinite ranged skill). And her second skill is great for slowing enemies and dealing good damage to hordes of enemies with low and medium defense (which is most of the stages from about Episode 0 to 5/6) and also hits tanky enemies with the Arts damage as well. 4 stars are the cheapest to get to E2 (but aren’t as big of a priority now since there’s a free 5 star E2 ticket now), so it’s not a bad idea to have her as your first choice (as she was mine). But every character in the game is usable and works, so just level, use, and promote whoever you like! (Except Frostleaf, sadly she’s the only character that gets _worse_ with no benefits when promoting her to E2, and that’s disappointing for the people who like her… but she’s still usable in that state at least.)
@@MoreK1ngBardAlso I noticed something after rewatching the video when you moved ur avatar to the left it covers the names of whose speaking. I believe the right side is the power move it only covers the operators during stages but still manageable and you'll spend more time in the dialogs anyways. Much Love❤ looking forward the the next vid!
I love it when people read the story! Too many people skip it or go watch the anime as a replacement (the anime is good but it moves really fast). You got a hold on how positioning works pretty well too, better than some other new player I have seen
Welcome to Arknights, man Looking forward to your future experiences with the game, as the introduction and early part is arguably the least engaging period of our bunny-girls-in-jackets gacha. The further you go - the more cool stuff will you discover
Well. I've been playing Arknights for years now. So this "Arlnights" reaction video is a bit interesting, very nostalgic. I'll mention a random thing. I've identified more bosses beatable with maxed 3 stars. Than bosses not beatable with maxed 4 stars. Though that's a type of self challenge really. Just know that the game rewards patience and proper planning. In pulls, build decisions and tough stages. Anyway. It's mostly a game to play at your own pace I guess. Have fun if you will.
That’s awesome you’ve been playing for years, that makes me excited now that I’m getting into it knowing there is a lot to keep me playing for a long time. I really appreciate the info and I will definitely be patient and take my time learning the game properly. 🤩
Would recommend new players to go for either Lappland or Specter. Specter can self sustain, do high damage and become immortal for 10 seconds. Lappland can hit targets from afar, can hit aerial units, and can "silence" an enemy's annoying abilities. Also pro tip: Level your 2-3 stars, they're very helpful and cheap to build. It's not like other gachas where low rarity characters are completely useless.
That’s really good to know about them! They are definitely the characters everyone keeps telling me about and it’s good to know too that in January we will be getting another selector so really I could get both 🤩 I really appreciate the tips, thank you!
The stories in this game are VERY long (especially the latest event, I literally spent 30 minutes reading a single cutscene) so I suggest that you either: 1. Skip them entirely for the video and focus on the gameplay. (And maybe read them during your own time?) 2. Read them in the video but only include certain highlights in the story. As much as I love the story and lore of this game, it gets VERY time-consuming to read all of them. This is just a suggestion of course. If you find reading the story fun, then go ahead and read all of em! Remember: Your strongest weapon in this game is not 6 star units, but patience and determination. Good luck, Doktah.
Oh my gosh!!!! That is a lot of reading for one cutscene. Holy crap. Yeah that’s not a bad idea kind of cutting it down to essential parts to keep the flow of the video good. I’ll definitely read it all but I won’t include it if it feels like it could be something I can cut. I appreciate that heads up and suggestion 😊
@@MoreK1ngBard Yeah, it's not short. To be clear, Lone Trail, the side-story that just finished re-running, is 78,000 words long in total, and basically a novel on it's own. Granted, it's also climax of the Columbia story arc, but still, later chapters and side-stories get BIG.
@ reason why is because she is basically the only character who can silence (suppress enemy abilities) enemy units, and getting early on a character like that is super valuable
It's funny how even this one is also similar to the other game, where you're this important Doctor/Director that lost your memory but you're incredibly powerful and leader of the this entire organization I tried getting into Arknights but eh, tower defense is not really for me I was getting kinda bored Sorry😅

I started 6 months ago and picked Lappland. I do not regret that choice at all. Learning more about the character in the story just made me love them even more! Also her EN VA is incredible.
2:50 Everybody loves her. You can think of her as a daughter 🥰
Awww that is so sweet!!! I love that so much.
Don't forget to build your 3 stars first tho, they'll fill out any holes in your team in a pinch, and they'll stay valuable for other stuff like the Roguelike mode (Integrated Strategies).
my recommendations for 5 star permit:
1. Pick whoever you want. No one on the list is truely bad. Closest to that would be sora.
2. Pick what your team is missing. Its really good to start with a balanced team (2 vanguard/defender/healer/sniper/caster/guard)
Oh my gosh that is so exciting!!! I am happy I chose her then 🤩 Thanks for this!
+ The game itself begins on December 23. Bunny went to wake Doc up as a birthday present.😀
Oh my gosh that is interesting!!!! So we have no idea who that is even after all of this time??? Very interesting 🤔 Yhats gotta be a huge reveal someday I would think right? And that is a cool fact, it’s Amiya’s birthday month 🤩
"I've watched Grey's Anatomy" lmaooo
😅😅😅
There's also some operators that can be purchased in the store with in-game currency - red certificates earned in the supply stages:
Ethan is a 4 🌟 Ambusher Specialist that does damage over time, but doesn't block or get attacked; you merely place him in the enemy's path, and he shreds them as they pass.
(You just missed the most powerful Alternate, W's Wiš'adel Alter, affectionately known as "W'alter," or "Cheat Code.")
typical usefull comment which make new players quit arknights
@MoreK1ngBard
I included the info on Alternates because I saw another new Doctor pull 3 🌟 Fang and her 5 🌟 Alter just 30 minutes apart, and she was completely confused.
Shirayuki is my favorite operator and I’m so glad you gave her props 😭🙏
(There is a limited 6-star version of her btw.) (Ulpianus, who will get released next update on December 3, is also an Abyssal Hunter.)
Otherwise, Ptilopsis is a great AoE medic.
And I’m so happy that you actually try to play Arknights!
Thank you!! Thank you so much for the tip and I am happy to hear that Red is awesome. 🤩
i too have recently started arknights after the limbus collab announcement, got a ton of free stuff, currently stuck on 2-4, so yeah, have fun till then
Ayy let’s go! Thats awesome you started playing and oh boy! I was wondering if this game was going to get hard 😰
Thank you!! Yeah I keep seeing lappland and specter the most for picks. Thanks for the help 🤩
Oh awesome!!! That is really good to know, so I will definitely start leveling Kroos up then 🤩
Just a few suggestions for the 5 star selector, something different to what every streamer gets pushed too:
Try grabbing Nearl, a defender and healer in 1 package with a global healing buff.
However, after watching for a bit, I’m actually drawn in because my man, you have a great voice for narrating.
I along with many Doctah's will be watching your career very closely.
Welcome to Arknights.
Yay welcome and thank you so much. I am really excited to continue this journey and see where it goes.
Oh wow thanks for this!!! That is crazy how generous the system is, that’s amazing 🤩 I appreciate the comment, thank you!
An amnesiac main character in a bleak and grim world with a diverse range of characters, deja vu is strong in this one.
It’s like we’ve seen this before! 🤔
LETS GOO Arknights gameplay!! I hope you enjoy the game!
I am enjoying it so far! This is a game I will for sure be continuing 🤩
So if I do end up getting him someday I will know what to do with him.
for further tips
- you can beat chapter 1 to 7 with 3-4 star only and 1 six star for few stages but of course it depend on how well you understand boss mechanic, enemy skill and you operator kit
-Never spend originium prime the premium currency for pull, only use pull using orrundum (the red stone) use OP only for skins, in arknight there no premium skin, all can be bought with in game currency and assuming you pick you taste you will get any skins just by beating stages, you will unlock stage to farm orrundum weekly and orrundum also available for daily reward
-priotize operator that you will use long term because early player will be grinding specially material farming
-when you have operator at elite 2 don't upgrade it to max lvl, just to lvl 60, like in reverse where at I3 you just left it at LVL 30 because further up its expensive and not worth the resources here same case
-the pity on arknight is around 60-70 pull
-each year there at least 4 standard limited banner, summer event, half anniv, sui siblings event and anniv event
-the gap between CN and global server is 6 month (in fact global anniv is on the summer event)
-like in reverse where in limited banner you can spark the rated up character after 200 pull specially if you still didnt get it in arknight limited banner spark is 300 pull (currently after 5th anniv they already reduce it 200 one by one after each limited banner until it catch up)
and lastly as someone aleady mention it arknight is LORE HEAVY this game lore basicly watered down version of warhammer 40k, everythings sucks, and yet it keep progressing
Sadly she’s not very relevant in the story (despite how high of connections she has to very powerful people) or in the gameplay meta.
Let's Gooo! Welcome new Dokutah!
Thank you 🤩
@@MoreK1ngBardAlso I noticed something after rewatching the video when you moved ur avatar to the left it covers the names of whose speaking. I believe the right side is the power move it only covers the operators during stages but still manageable and you'll spend more time in the dialogs anyways. Much Love❤ looking forward the the next vid!
Welcome to terra doctor, may your journey are blessed.
Thank you so much!
Hope you enjoy the game. Weedy is quite fun, she pushes people into holes in certain maps!
Thank you! And that sounds awesome haha. I didn’t even think about environmental hazards on the board! That is going to be fun 🤩
Забавно, как многие культовые гачи эксплуатируют сюжеты о мрачном далёком высокотехнологичном будущем...
It’s so true though! And what scares me is how real these stories could be in the future. Like the saying goes, “art imitates life”
I love it when people read the story! Too many people skip it or go watch the anime as a replacement (the anime is good but it moves really fast). You got a hold on how positioning works pretty well too, better than some other new player I have seen
I couldn't imagine skipping the story, I just want to play the game the way the devs intended 😊 And thank you!!
We Many have been alerted.
Enjoy your journey, and never forget to read, it's your strongest weapon.
I will definitely try and read everything! I’m really excited to continue this journey. 🤩
New Dokutah? Peak content ✌️
Ayy thank you so much! I really appreciate that 🤩
Welcome to Arknights, man
Looking forward to your future experiences with the game, as the introduction and early part is arguably the least engaging period of our bunny-girls-in-jackets gacha. The further you go - the more cool stuff will you discover
Thank you so much! I am happy I finally gave this game a try 🤩
all I can say is that AK will take some time to get Good
Yay!!! I want to get beaten down a little bit 🤩
Welcome new Doctor...be ready for a wild ride!
playing 2 of my favorite gachas? i'm eating good
Yay!!!!! I am really enjoying Arknights so far too. The story seems really intense and I’d imagine only gets better 🤩
Good luck Docta, this game is really about strategie (except for some unite)
I was wondering about that, how difficult this game gets. So it’s good to know I’ll be tested in the future 🤩
Welcome fellow Dokutah, hope you Enjoy your Stay, many free operators waiting for you in the intermezzi, and Logically a Good Very good lore
Thank you so much! 🤩
My Hivemind alarm is ringing;
🤩🤩🤩🤩
The stories in this game are VERY long (especially the latest event, I literally spent 30 minutes reading a single cutscene) so I suggest that you either:
1. Skip them entirely for the video and focus on the gameplay. (And maybe read them during your own time?)
2. Read them in the video but only include certain highlights in the story.
As much as I love the story and lore of this game, it gets VERY time-consuming to read all of them. This is just a suggestion of course. If you find reading the story fun, then go ahead and read all of em!
Remember:
Your strongest weapon in this game is not 6 star units, but patience and determination.
The person suggesting Patience is the one saying "skip the story so I don't have to sit through it."
@garyballard179 Yeah my bad, I sometimes contradict my self when making sentences (English isn't my first language). But you get what I mean.
@@MoreK1ngBard Yeah, it's not short. To be clear, Lone Trail, the side-story that just finished re-running, is 78,000 words long in total, and basically a novel on it's own. Granted, it's also climax of the Columbia story arc, but still, later chapters and side-stories get BIG.
you should select specter , she is considered the best 5 stars in the game , nice video btw
Specter is definitely one I’ve been seeing a lot of in the comments 🤩 and thank you so much, I am really glad you enjoyed the video.
yt recommend have attracted my interested
Yay. Welcome!!!! Thanks for checking the video out.
Get Lapland for the 5 star selector
Lapland is one of the top characters everyone keeps telling me to get 🤩
@ reason why is because she is basically the only character who can silence (suppress enemy abilities) enemy units, and getting early on a character like that is super valuable
Projekt Red is good, I got a lot of use out of her early on. Always want to have a Fast-Redeploy on the team.
Yay! It’s good to know I didn’t pick a bad character haha.
Arknight!!??🤑
🤣🤣 yay!!!!
Pick Lappland or Specter for you stars selector ticket
Those are the two characters everyone keeps suggesting so it’s definitely between them 🤩 Thank you so much for the help.
For your extra efford on reading, I give you +1 subs
Yay thank you! I mean since the scenes aren’t voice acted I really have to read them. 🤩
It's funny how even this one is also similar to the other game, where you're this important Doctor/Director that lost your memory but you're incredibly powerful and leader of the this entire organization
I tried getting into Arknights but eh, tower defense is not really for me I was getting kinda bored
Sorry😅
Haha yeah that’s actually so true! I didn’t even realize that lol and no need to be sorry Plat!!!! Some game types aren’t for everyone 😊
i always skip the story but in guess i will read it with you
yay! Thank you 🤩
Welcome aboard, Rhodes Island doctor! The story is a bit wordy but well worth it! I hope you enjoy your time
