You were fortunate at the end! Lappland has a talent called “Silence” that can stop special abilities of enemies from being activated. (You can see which abilities can be Silenced in the enemies list that have a fancy X symbol instead of a bulletin point beside it.) Crownslayer’s “skip” ability is one of them, and she would have gone into the blue box there if Lappland didn’t stop her.
There isn't really a wall in this where you're going to be blocked from progress entirely until you farm levels, assuming you're using all the systems in place (doing your recruitments, credit store, base stuff, dailies). The game also assumes you'll do side content that unlocks as you progress. Integrated Strategies uses no sanity and has a series of 28 challenges that each reward about 400 sanity worth of materials. This is over 12k sanity worth of stuff you get pretty quickly by playing the most fun mode in the game. This boosts your progression by a ton and will let you promote everything you need.
52:50 Btw, Crownslayer - real name Lyudmila, or Luda for short - is not really a villain, she just a...a pretty good girl who fell under the influence of a real villain. Her story is quite tragic, and with the development of the plot will be revealed, and there who knows - maybe she will someday be able to become an _ally_ ...
53:22 Oh, this is just the beginning. There will be a lot of questions, some not so obvious...if you like to think about it, I can throw in a not-so-obvious question: here's a city where Reunion rioted, part of the Ursus Empire which obviously has an army...so why didn't the army come to deal with the riots? The answer to this question will be answered in the further story development, but it is possible to think and maybe build theories now. And in general I can advise you to pay attention to small and far from obvious details =)
Red is a FAST REDEPLOY operator. Basically an assassin. Notice how she immediately activates her skill the moment you deploy her? You're supposed to deploy her to assassinate specific enemies, and when her skill runs out, you withdraw her and then redeploy her somewhere else with a reduced cooldown.
For pulls I know it can be hard when you're starting out to figure out what banners are worth spending that precious pull currency on. I wouldn't suggest pulling on the current banners. I generally don't like pulling on the double banners where instead of a 50/50 to get the single rate-up character it's more of a 1 in 3 to get one of the two rate-ups, unless I really wouldn't mind getting either of the characters. There will be a Goldenglow/Lee banner coming up, and that's a tough one because Goldenglow is one of the best casters in the game and is extremely useful on new accounts, but Lee would be next to useless for you. After that on Dec 24th we'll have the rerun of Executor Alter. He's a pretty good melee unit that blasts three tiles in front with AoE damage and heals himself on hits, but cannot be directly healed otherwise. I don't know I'd recommend him as a priority since you already have Silverash and the thing they're both known for is very similar - both of their S3's deal massive AoE damage blasts. If you didn't have Silverash I'd probably say go for it, but with Silverash I think you'd be better saving up. The next major banner after that is the anniversary banner starting Jan 16th with Pepe and Narantula. I would definitely suggest pulling that banner. Narantula looks like a great and fun sniper and Pepe is pretty solid (not to mentioned limited). At that point on your account you'll probably be in a position where you could use getting an influx of new characters to fill out roles on your squads.
Everyone else is already saying build vanguards, so instead, I want to explain the boxes a bit. You can place those boxes anywhere you could place a melee operator. You CAN place them on top of rnemies in a panic, but they will just destroy the box. The boxes are basically invulnerable otherwise. The reason you couldnt place that third panic block is because you would have cut off the enemies only path to your blue box. Basic rule is as long as the enemies have at least one walkable path to your box, you can place them down wherever you want. A more advanced strategy with them is to block path A, then when enemies are almost to your safe point via path B, remove the block on path A and block off path B. This will force them to turn around and take the other path. You can abuse this heavily in certain stages. Congrats on the clears bro.
Oh my gosh okay that is really good to know! I thought that there were just designated areas where you put the boxes. Thank you for clearing that up for me and giving me some tips! Thanks!
@@MoreK1ngBardyes that ít why arknight its the best strategy gacha game its have so many things you could do its just base on your imagination and knowledge of the game if you feel some stage impossible just remember there its a guy clear whole game with lv1 character
32:53 LOL. Great video, good job beating Crownslayer. It blew my mind when she skipped over my operators when I first started playing. Also, nice voice acting for the characters 👍. Also, just a bit of advice because I noticed you were struggling a bit with gaining Deployment Points (DP). Most vanguards will help you with this problem, as they are cheap to deploy (so you can get them out early). If you do have any vanguards (preferably Myrtle, but Fang, Courier, Scavenger, and maybe Vanilla work decent) they're good to invest in :)
Thank you! I really appreciate that :) I will definitely get some lower cost operators on the team, great call! Thank you for the help and advice I really appreciate it 😊
In case you worry which banner to pull my suggestion for new player save as much as you can for certain limited specially meta operator (so you progression is less grind with good ops) next limited is summer event should be around january and february will have dungeon meshi collab (the entire marcille party is playable) and the next limited is half anniv around may and then sui sibling event around august and anniv event around november
@@heinrichvongotzen398 True, but it takes a long time to clear the pinboard missions, months even. He can get vanguards easily in Recruitment with vanguard or DP-generation tags (when setting the time to 7:40:00 or higher).
@ Oh yeah, forgot about him. But I don’t know if he’s unlocked access to the credit store yet, unless he cut out that tutorial and just didn’t buy Courier then.
Arknights lez goooooo! Congrats to defeating the very first boss in the game! It’s nice to review the first chapters with you and it bring me back to the old days😄 I really like your voice acting, definitely gonna wait for more Arknights content! (btw if you want to learn more about the game, feel free to explore the home page) From then on you may need to build your characters a little bit for upcoming operations and that’s the boring part of the game, but trust me, it worths
Thank you so much! It has been a lot of fun going through the story and learning the game and I am really happy to hear that you are enjoying the content! What has been the best chapter so far in the game in your opinion?
@ this is a really hard question for me…… I’d say Hypergryph kept cooking and every chapter has it’s purpose But personally I would be very excited if you get to chapter 6 lol

Oh my goodness so I got extremely lucky then! Wow haha Thanks for letting me know about her ability, I didn't realize that!
Oh my...no vanguard gameplay. Goodluck in your future adventures fellow Doktah
haha definitely playing risky, so I will have to get a vanguard on the team.

35:20 Actually felt like one of those mobile game ads- placing meteor way too far up, no vanguards in team, placing red away from the enemy..
😭😭 I will learn 🙏🏻

Dont worry about vanguard, texas is free operator in the progression reward section, still a really good 5 star vanguard

Yeah I have to get some :) I try my hardest that is for sure lol
its very amazing you can go to act 2 without any vanguard tho.
Thank you! I think a lot of it is luck haha
