When I saw Kiss in 79' it was so cool watching Ace do "2000 Man", everytime Ace would hit the same barre chord in the intro he would shoot a rocket out of his Les Paul, then he threw the guitar up in the air and it floated above him, then picked up another Paul and shot more rockets out - aiming at the one in the air and bouncing off it, it was so fucking cool!
sorry to break your bubble. but when mick taylor was with the stones, one of the best blues guitarists the brits ever produced, they became one of the greatest live forces of rock music. Mick was so awesome Keith kicked the guitar weaving shit out of the window and stuck to what he was best at, playing rythm. listen to this Rolling Stones "Jumpin´ Jack Flash" (Live European Tour 1973) micks soloing is some of the best ever, keiths rythm is sharp as a knife, even watts and wyman are on fire.
for my school we got to read a book over the summer i thought it was pretty gay till i found out that the guy the book is about designed Ace's guitar it's called Look Me In The Eyes
...psssst - do not tell anybody.... ACE is an Andorian scout. I really like the Andorians - they are like many of us (those of us that do not like religion texts). ... but love science.
i'm the first to bash watts and wyman as being boring and unimaginative, but here they rock, jaggers vocals are perfect, no overuse of his style, taylors use of the muted wah pedal is one of the greatest wah sounds i ever heard. with mick taylor the stones could've blown any band of any stage. ronie wood never was able to remotely do what mick does, get keith into his place, keith is too sloppy as a soloist, especially, in later years, short doses are great though, he's mr riff for a reason.
This is my favorite version of this song.
There's NO one like him, Ace is the only one!!
ACE IS A TRUE GUITAR GOD 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE!!!

ACE RULES
Per chi non lo sapesse,i demo delle 5 canzoni in studio di ZKiss Alive ll,suonate da ACE,quelle definitive da Kulick, perche Ace sposa Jeanette (1978)
OMG. Bloody Awesome

The Rolling Stone’s may have written an recorded original but it suits Ace more appropriately than Mick or Keith 😊

From Kissology Volume 2 dvd ACE IS FUCKING AWESOME
@EricCarr5091 I wouldn't say the reunion experiment failed. It was a reunion tour, it came and went: It, too, had it's day.

@Dabuss98 Randy Rhoads is better in my opinion but Ace is about the 2nd best in my opinion.
lose the capes
we seriously need the original line up. tommy sucks so bad, pretending to be Ace hahaha
Ace fucking rules the planet!!!!
The snare sound is terrible in this show . sounds like the ABBA drum tech did this set up.
but ace was the top dog
the drum track was sad - not nearly as good as previous versions
