OMG, I was at this gig...The video can't do it justice, but it's great to be reminded of this awesome performance.
Lovely. It's funny, when watching him live, I like to count all the times he spits on the floor. It used to gross me out, but now I find it endearing.

I'm a little confused. After the first song, he asked to have "the photographer removed". Does he not like photos being taken at his concert? Or was there an annoying flash or something?

veritaseros hi veritaseros, i'll try to answer in english although it's not my language. nick cave is perfectly alright with people taking pics of him, in this case he was addressing at one "official" photographer of a magazine, local press. i know this because i've been to 4 concerts by nick & tbs and he always do that. he lets press photographer take pictures of the concert for a couple of songs, then they are told to leave. he does that for the fans who are there to see him. first time i saw him i was SHOCKED to see how friendly he is with the crowd. he lets people touch him, holds hands with many people. once i saw him reproach one security guy who had told one fans not to take pictures. he said something like "hey you! leave the fucking guy alone and let him take pictures" haha. if you have never been to a concert by nick cave DO IT, as soon as you can, it's a really wonderful experience ;)

Ah that clears things up, thanks! Yeah I just got into Nick Cave but from what I have seen so far he always does seem to get really close with his audience. I would love to see him live someday! :)
veritaseros yes, i told you he gets really close with his audience, but you can actually see that in this video ;) first time you got the chance to see him live, don't miss it! ;)
