Yeah i was a little worried for seconds but then i saw it was really 100% a game when he pulled back his arm and the bear immediatly stayed down very calm.

I love how gentle the bears are. They really do have restraint. You can tell from how they both wrestle on completely equal footing, in spite of the fact the bears are so much stronger, that they even know to take 'turns' winning. Like kids playing together. They know they have to try to lose every now and again for the game to be fun.
What a privilege to have earned these animals' trust to such an extent that you can hug them and even play fight with them. Most of us only ever got to hug a stuffed animal...
It is because he has raised them since they were little. Now they see him as their parent. But I must say that he is a really good person who really loves his bears.

I love how Jim makes the bears happy! Those bears are clearly having fun being silly AND having Jim’s undivided attention. When Jim rubs his head against the bear’s head, the bear knows that’s an expression of true affection.
The bears also know that gentle “love bites” are perfectly fine. The bears are VERY careful with Jim too. Thanks to Jim and the others, life is a celebration for the bears!
Jim is truely an extraordinary human being...having the time of his life!

I disagree.
The OP is one of those fools who believes that thinks hunting is immoral. Probably an east coaster who thinks boars are little piglets, incapable of harming anyone. Those types also don't realize that in many cases hunting is necessary because a non-native predator with no natural predators was introduced into the ecosystem and unless we keep the population in check via hunting it, it will destroy that ecosystem.

matt cullen Polar Bears are cuter in my opinion. Though, they’re hyper carnivores and will eat you in the wild thats the downside. Atleast with other bears they’re omnivores. Polar bears are just meat eaters. But anyways, Polar Bears especially fat ones are adorable.

I think it’s adorable how he plays with the bear’s feet, they play peekaboo and they chase after each other like old pals. This is the definition of a true man. Someone who can respect and care about a bear rather than hurt it and hunt it down. Well said by @ due whit

I play peek-a-boo and chase all the time with my cats and dog. We all love it!!
Buddy, nobody hunts bears for fun. Bears are hunted for 2 reasons they are in over abundance which isn’t the case in most places, or they have killed or tried to kill people.
I fear some folks get fooled by these videos and will go off into a park and think they can just play with a bear. They'll end up dead and ironically that bear will be shot. Not everything is "cute" folks....grow up.

The love being shown between the bear and the man is truly unique and amazing. He had absolutely no fear of having his back to either one of them. Thats is amazing.

@@McCracken216 I live in southeast Ohio right across the river from WV. We do have black bear in Ohio and there are lots of them in WV. I personally have never killed a bear. I used to hunt when I was young. I did eat what I shot and killed. As i grew older I just didn't want to kill anything anymore if it wasn't needed for survival. I have never killed a bear for food. I always considered them highly intelligent. I don't walk in the woods with out a gun. If I can't scare a threat off I will kill it.

It seems aggressive from our perspective, but from the bears imagine the level of control needed not to injure a pink fleshy human and still play around.
@@kahuna1247 I think they realize he does not mean them harm as he raised them from cubs. They look at him more as family then someone to fear or be aggressive towards. Plus like any animal they can sense fear. He is very confident around them and they probably sense that.

i love this one! saw it a few weeks ago and i couldn't figure out how to play it again! i first watchd youtube a few months ago and am still learning to navigate it. i had to be dragged kicking and screaming into all this tech stuff. when i found these videos i couldn't believe i deprived myself of such a simple source of joy and unadulterated delight! you two are amazing people to enjoy an experience of genuine mutual love with those bears and then to share it with us! thank you, i am so grateful to you for letting me experience it vicariously. warms my heart, heals my soul and makes me smile every single day, even the really rough and painful days. thank you, jim and susan. and jenny and amy and leo and randy and even jimbo and rosie, may they rest in peace. my heart goes out to you all, bears included.

Cute and most adorable! Jim invites Amy and Jenny into improvised game play - keep away around the trees. It is wonderful to see how both bears and Jim continue to improvise play and expand the scope of the game to include more kinds of events and activities - the new rules and the new games are clearly understood by all! Play stimulates the mind and is also a social bonding activity. I think I am most arrested by watching the interaction and the clear communication conveyed, of course, non-verbally. I am in awe of Jim's intuition - developed by countless years of observation and interaction - it is quite a sight to behold!
