So far I just watched the video and haven't actually done the install, but it looks very easy the way you show it. Thanks for the informational step by step. I feel confident that I will be able to change the drive with no trouble.

It supports NVMe. The Dell web site has a great service manual…
Awesome!
Strange, my optical doesn't come out like yours. Instead of the whole drive popping out, I can only get the tray to slide out, as if I was going to insert a CD in it...help!?
Pulling gently on the tray itself doesn't help either 🤔
Other than following the video, not sure what to tell you.
@@ItsBinhRepaired Thanks, I've since figured it out. Just in case this can be useful to someone in a similar situation...the drive had slightly shifted position by a few millimeters which impeded its removal. I simply used a small screwdriver in the opening to gently pry it out
can you make a video on how to clone the hard drive
I have one. Here it is ruclips.net/video/4p5jFDzVwUw/видео.html
A friend of mine followed a dell representative’s instructions over the phone and now his p35e doesn’t turn on. I checked it out and all ribbon cables are plugged in and accounted for, however it still doesn’t boot, nor make any noise.
What was he trying to do?
@@ItsBinhRepaired Replace a HDD with an SSD. The specific SSD turned out to be the wrong part, so the HDD was reinstalled.
My best and only guess is a short on the MB as he wasn’t grounded while working on the pc but I have effectively zero experience so I couldn’t say precisely.
Oh no :(
