- Hi friends today i will show you that how to make LED chaser, this is amazing project and components you need to make this project.
• cd4017 ic
• 10 led
• 1k resistor
• 3.7V battery
This project is mainly contains 10 led but you can add 2/3 more LEDs. I have made many projects of cd4017 ic you can watch my previous videos,

can you use 3v relays instead of the led?

Where did the white wire connected to pin 15 of the IC went to
Just take that wire near A.C. plug or switch board (do not connect) take that wire near 3cm of A.C. plug or switch board.

did you know that we have some PCB to make it. And maybe you should clean your solder tool to get better soldering... what you do is not soldering, it is more like clue.

You can use between 9 to 12V

No not direct put that pin 14 wire near any AC power supply and when you put near AC supply so led chaser will works 👍

Connect all leds negative pin together and positive to ic , as shown in video .

What was role of wire on 14th pin?
Its a clock input pin - when pin 14 gets pulse ,then that bunch of led will become in motion and for that pulse we have to connect pin 14 near a.c. line switch board and it makes led in motion which we called as led chaser.
📍TAKE THE PIN 14 WIRE SLIGHTLY NEAR A.C. LINE SWITCH BOARD AND THEN YOUR LED CHASER WILL WORK.

Yes it's working but it's working through my hands too, little distance its catching some body signal.
But IC point 3 and 2 are (led 1 and 2) not working.

No bro use 1k resistor , and this circuit will only work between 9 to 12V ,

@@ninomandal181 I WILL NOT LIE , I DONT KNOW THAT WHY WE TAKE BUT I KNOW THAT IT ONLY WORKS AFTER PUTING THAT WIRE NEAR TO AC SOURCE .

Yes you can make led chaser on breadboard.
3 no led is not working
Sorry , in video led is not working because that wire is disconnected.
But it 100% works , so you can try to make it

I need only 4 channel what to do ? I tried but there is long gap
For 4 channel led chaser there will be little change in circuit and ic will be NE555.

@@kalyangautam7345 You connect the "4" output (pin 10) of the 4017 IC to reset (pin 15). That way, it will cycle from 3 back to 0.
