Thank you so much! My 04 C230K had the same problem, where if I went past 60% throttle, it’d be an absolute slug. Did this, and also fixed a boost leak, and she pulls like a beast now!
Don’t know if will work like this but my old w202 kompressor had the same problem once. This is the relearning for the same part. Turn ignition to last position and leave it for 3 minutes. You will hear the throtle and diverter valve reseting. Mine was stuck open. This fixed it.
Exactly what i thought.. this guy dont know what he's talking.. the part he cleaned were obviously throttlebody.. diverter valve on this m271 were underneath and got more work and parts to be remove to reach it.
I have a 2004 163hp CLK200 kompressor and put a smaller 68mm pulley on the Kompressor. First I did a 0 to 100km/h in a very dissapointing 14 seconds. After your tip the car reacted much more punchy. Did another 0-100km/h run and manged it in 9.9 sec. The car still need some software tuning with the maller 68 mm pully. But many thanks for this video.
How many psi of air pressure do you manage to get in the air inlet manifold?. My stock M271 could get up to +8psi of air pressure during maximum air boosted pressure. Regards.

I just recently spent about USD$2400 for changing the timing chain set and both cam adjustors and numerous items from small to medium size. Initially just about changing the rubber gasket for the engine cover. The mechanic found 21 of the 44 teeth on the inlet cam adjustor broken. Year stamped on it is 2004. 😂😂😂.
@@whlawson5812 yeah, timing chain and cam adjusters should be changed every 60k miles, I did also. Buy a smaller pulley, you wont regret it. It feels like a beast now. Even you drive it normally, you have more torque, dont have to press gas too much. I use the pulley without software tune, works perfect after a few thousand miles of adapting
@berkeyazc1803 new cam adjustors are expensive unless buying made in China!. I heard a good well made set made in China is used without problem for 3 to 4 years. Febi timing chain and adjustors kit set are middle in price.👍👍👍
when does the charger usually kick in? i just did a drive home tracked on obd scanner and barely got to 5psi when flooring it. that was the only time boost pressure wasn't negative the whole drive home/
@@DaveBeatz maybe the MAP sensor is faulty or the compressor bypass flap throttle body is not fully closed due to dirt or gear cog issue inside?. When the engine is off do you have 0.0psi reading by the MAP?
Mine feels super sluggish I just bought it today and having 190 horse it should be pretty quick but feels super slow 0-100 in probably 12 seconds what should I check ??
I bought a silver 2005 c230 with blue headlights (really clear) The car came with a quarter sized dent in the bumper (left) and the bumper was also loose on that left side. Dipping down slightly (screw loosening and my dumbass hasnt tightened it) 161,980 k miles clean title clean interior clean paint all oem What did u pay for urs/what do u guys think a fair price would have been for me to pay???

This is not the recirculation valve, this is the throttle valve. The recirculation valve is underneath the supercharger.
