The Fast and the Furious and cars like the Acura Integra shaped the tuning scene and changed what it meant to be a gear head. I saw this car in person in 1998 or 1999 and saw Bill drive this car into the parking lot at the old dtla Bofa vault proof center location (now the Staple Center). Still vividly remember being wowed and walked around the car a few times checking it out. This video reaffirms my recollection of an older Caucasian gentlemen/Bill, and now it makes a lot of sense. Definitely a legendary sport compact of the time. I still got my 98 BB6 that needs to be fully rebuilt to its glory!

I still have my 2000 DC2 GS-R and continue love it all these years later. It’s lightweight, has great power, great MPG (35MPG) and low cost on maintenance. Even though I have an E46 M3 competition, I still like and drive the Integra more. Something about that DC2.

If acura still made the integra I would've bought a new one by now X( still got my 2001 SE rolling around but she starting to rust up nice thanks to these Canadian winters (even with rust proofing). She only got 140k km on her but the infamous honda tranny is starting to act a little funny. But I've owned a 2013 328i and a 2001 miata SE in yellow and the integra still wins my heart overall. I feel like it's one of those cars every car enthusiast has to own once in their lifetime like the Miata to fully understand why it's so great. CRX are pretty sweet too lol awesome video as always! For 2001 and not having widely available cnc machines the guy did fine, mixing and matching is how we did it. Today though, cnc all the way.
