Tool Kit
I use just a cheap toolset from Amazon - Where I'm playing with Greenstuff you can see I have rubber tools. Not a neccesity but a good thing If you want to work with Greenstuff!

You can purchase all of these straight from Games Workshop however there are deals to be found with your local store. If in the UK I use Wayland Games.

Basing Rollers: In this video I show you how to go without rollers but if this is your Jam (Its quicker) then Ebay is the best solution for rollers, Greenstuff World is 'The Brand' but in the age of 3D printing there are plenty of options all over Ebay.
Its rare to see ork to orc conversion, I've done the reverse plenty. But this is novel and cool.

Would love to see what you can do with ogres. I really like the total war ogre tyrant, orc warboss or big uns and black orks.
Warboss Sounds like there's some space to look at. I don't like the multiparty boss he's too small! @@Rodrigo-fj7zj

I was really surprised they went with the old Orcs; they don't look great in 2024 and a new box would have been welcome alongside stuff like the Bret foot knights. Ultimately it put me off playing O&G in TOW, and I think I'll try Skaven instead with their incoming kits. These look great, but it would be a huge effort to build an entire regiment, especially when the 40K is monopose (another bad decision from GW).
Yea I'd agree with that I wanted new Orc Boys badly! These are a bit of effort but can make the front rank look more dynamic. An entire mob like this would take forever. I've just finished up converting the rest of the unit and they'll feature in the next video alongside Grimgor and a Goblin Shaman so look forward to those. The new Skaven though damn I'd agree with you on bringing them to the old world. Again I hope the OW team go back on the legacy factions situation!!
I’m biased against the new 40K boyz because I was so disappointed to find out they were monopose but as an Old World player this might have changed my mind.

I went for Creed Camo on my orcs and Militarum Green on my goblins. I just wanted my orcs a little darker.

I got myself a sprue of old world boyz, but I mostly want to turn them into 40k orks.
Something to try for faster fur, and what I learned to do quite by accident. Greenstuff worm super glued to an area to make sure it that it won't pull off, and using tweezers to pinch bits and pull up. Do this enough and it will look like fur.

Monopose is death the creativity and insurance for people to fall in line. Not a fan of GW's products anymore. And this is coming from a dude that has shelved 3 armies. Funny how companies have revealed their true faces after years of fans funding their careers. They all seem to be written like a sub plot villain in Game of Thrones.
I've got 30 'monopose' 40k Boyz that all look incredibly different. I see it as a creativity challenge.
