For me Sweet Baby Ray's is simply the best barbecue sauce in the world. We were driving through the western US in an RV two years ago and happened to buy your Hickory and Brown Sugar barbecue sauce at Walmart. Since then there is nothing else for us. Here in Germany, the sauce is hard to get and also a bit expensive, but it's worth it to us. Nothing goes better with a good German wild boar on the grill than your fantastic sauce! God bless America and Sweet Baby Ray‘s!
Your Hawaiian Style BBQ Sauce knocked my socks off! Unfortunately, I couldn't find it locally but managed to buy a 12 pack from your Corporate. Hoping to find it again in my So. Cal area. 🙏❤
Love this place, love the food, love the fact that you can go in on any given day and see Dave there! I can't say enough great things about this place!
Had a rough day at home, i came in to work, we ran out of cheese, all we had was chicken nuggets and your sauce and man did it hit the spot. All my problems seemed so trivial and petty afterwards. I genuinely had a better outlook in life after having your sauce with some microwave dinosaur nuggets. I’ve had the nuggets before and never felt that way, so it had to be the sauce.
Wouldn't have pulled pork any other way if it wasn't for Sweet Baby Ray..... Great video and the Wood Dale restaurant got to be on my list for this summer. Wished I'd seen this video sooner. Thanks again and great story.
Live in Australia, just been buying it for a few months. Best range of sauces I’ve ever tasted. Wanted to know who made it and where it came from. Thanks all.
Best BBQ sauce hands down. I’ve been using this sauce ever since I discovered it several years ago, and recently been buying the No Sugar Added variety. I am eating beef jerky as I watch this that is flavored with Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ. Delicious!
Nice video, live in australia and get your bbq sauce for $7 a bottle, hahah. wish the market would pick up and we could enjoy it for a better price. My friends and I still buy it as it is the only bbq sauce that has the "bbq" flavour down under!!!! THANKS AGAIN
i really hope you're readin this sir, thank you SO much for this amazing bbq sauce! i been sharing the experience of making various bbq dishes with just your sauce, and each time it tastes different, each time the dish is mouth watering just bcs of the sauce! i dont buy any other bbq sauce, even if that means i have to import it. Greetings and Love from Germany!
I met Larry today....cool guy. He is proud of his son. If I am ever in Chicago....this will have to be place to stop and have a bite to eat at.... I Love Baby Ray's.
Man.....you ain't Lyin'. Lol! This my favorite BBQ sauce and I'm definitely Not just saying that cause I'm from Chi-Town either. I really love this sauce & now my teenage son is/has been in love with it since I introduced it to him.
It is my understanding you didn’t place in the barbecue contest until the fourth year, and then you took second. What changed between year one and year four?
They should do something like this in the UK because there are a significant number and chain of BBQ houses, understanding on the other hand what is significant about their success to starting in the UK is another matter?!
I have not eaten at sweet baby Ray's bbq place yet, but now that my wife is retired also, we are coming up there from Kentucky, looks delicious, bbq sauce is the best there is & I quit making mine cause the best I can do is have a tie & I'm 60 & been cooking, bbq'ing, grilling since I was 9 yrs old & I can't buy the ingredients for less than your bbq sauce, I can get a 12 ounce plastic bottlee for a $ 1.25 here, unreal for the best
sell sell sell..build your brand start local hit up some of the barbecue cook-offs learn tips from the Masters learn some experience... give out samples share keep on working on your craft. find somebody you trust that could market it a little bit and do the same thing there's so many it's a cutthroat market now a barbecue and sauces just like also in Pepper's ghost peppers habanero peppers Carolina reapers the market has gotten saturated with so much. at the time back in 1985 in Chicago there really weren't a whole lot like down to Texas with BBQ cook-offs basically we had good old-fashioned Heinz barbecue sauce or the now I think the funked open pit BBQ sauce. so they basically said a local company here we go try the stuff out..
Sweet Baby Rays is a great tasting sauce, But I looked at the ingredients and it showed High Fructose Corn syrup in it and I switched to Dubs which dosen't have fructose corn syrup in it.
I only use sweet baby Ray's when using on bbq, pork, beef, chicken, turkey, deer, etc...here in Kentucky we eat meats most folks do not, we use it on squirrel, groundhog, etc... we do not eat skunks, lol
Your Sweet baby Ray's sauce tastes so good I'm about to slap everybody in my neighborhood. That's down south just saying you got some good Sweet baby Ray's sauce.
I LOVE THIS BARBECUE SAUCE.I SWEAR I REFUSE TO EAT ANYTHING OTHER SAUCE.I DONT ALLOW ANY OTHER BARBECUE SAUCE IN MY HOUSE.I WISH I COULD HAVE A LIFETIME SUPPLY HONESTLY 😆😋😋
I assume the bbq in the smaller place is the same/just as good as the 2nd larger place, so I'd rather eat at the 1st smaller place & I' m 60, family from rural Kentucky & even the 1st original place would be a large place where I'm from, but as long as the food is good , I'm good.
My Ma's cousin Greg owned a small General store in rural Kentucky & they served food at 4 booths that seated 4 each, if you think this place is small you should have seen this place, , in that area we don't use the word lunch, it is breakfast in morning, dinner in afternoon & supper in evening , my wife is a city girl, we stopped in on a trip to visit my kin & I asked Greg were they busy for dinner at about 12: 00 in the afternoon, & he said they got slammed, 13 or 14 folks for dinner & my wife just looked at me kinda funny , lol, in that area where my family is from, 15 County region, appx. 95% of the folks are Irish, Scottish or a mix, she was kinda of uncomfortable in that area as she had never seen an area that rural, lol. Your original place would be considered medium to large where I'm from in Ky.
not really upset but we just kind of assumed that a guy who got the nickname 'Sweet Baby Ray' playing basketball in Chicago's west side, who then went onto make a famous barbecue sauce probably wouldn't be white. It all plays into stereotypes, and I wonder if the company did it that way on purpose
They’re embarrassed. As a race they do not have very much to be proud of. That’s why they try to claim history/products/inventions as theirs even though it’s not. Just like Hannibal Barca and Egypt
Baby Ray, I put SWEET BABY RAY’s BBQ on everything and it would be my life long goal to even meet you guys much less get some free bbq sauce from you guys! Lets make something happen guys
This sauce puts all the other brand names to shame, like open pit, bullseye, Kraft, etc... & those sauces cost 3 to 4 times the price as Sweet Baby Ray's here in Kentucky for the same amount, should be vice-versa

Just discovered this sauce recently in the UK. What a beautiful sauce this is. I’ve never tasted a better BBQ sauce than this.
Bought this today in UK for first time, unbelievable flavour. Customer for life.

Innominate sweet baby Ray for a Nobel Peace prize. I second that notion and third that notion myself. Plus my taste buds do

Does your company have a BBQ training school like Myron's ? Also would a franchise North of the border in Canada be available in the future?
