I feel Knee underestimated how much pressure he had Ulsan in and didn't think Ulsan would push a rage art.

is it possible he thought that the rage art wouldn't kill him?

Great insight on Knee's Bryan gameplay from the STL S2 Final! He's really adopting to the game's mechanics for sure!
On a side note, I respect JeonDDing for using Eddy's Preset 3 default fit.

The amount of D2s Knee ate is criminal. Move is so stupid.

he also missed a lot of punishes on d2 and whiff punishes on more stuff , despite that managed to reach grand finals . He gonna be even more scary next time when he fix that .

@Ginkochin It just goes to show the sheer amount of bullshit you have to think about fighting Drag

At least it's minus 13 and not like some other strong lows which hit harder and are only minus 12

Ulsan's style is 'GO!GO!GO!' so frustrating to fight against. Knee managing to keep up while still playing compact is impressive.
Can you explain knees liberal use of the uf2 string raw? Makes no sense to me.
He also never chooses to challenge after d2 with ws4 a single time

Bryan is a heavy timing freak. Look at Knees usage of the jab and rarely ever use soccer kick, everything else is qcf1+2. I mean he has insane reads and timing with his jabs, movement was impeccable

Qcf 1+2 should be minus 14 it's actually dumb that it isn't. All of Bryan's heat engagers are safe on block. You can only duck 2 of them. Strong characters should have more unsafe heat engagers to balance them out

    • @xRhychux
      @xRhychux 23 часа назад +3

-14 would dumb. Would completely invalidate the move. -9 is fair imo. But I guess -10 would be okay, no more than that
      You can duck ss2,1 -ff2- and 1,2,4

Yoshi's 3,2 1+2 shouldn't be hit confirmable, but if it remains, it needs to not do that massive damage. At the very least, it shouldn't force crouch so Bryan can Jet Upper it

Does it look like Knee mash less than previous tournament? Because in this tournamentm more often than not, Knee just stands there doing nothing or he is just keeping neutral?

    • @Beanpolr

He's always liked to play more careful and defensive, but offense in Tekken 8 is much crazier than T7, and Knee was having issues adjusting. He's spent a lot of time practicing and "solving" T8, and he's improved a ton. The slower, more careful style he's using here isn't new to Knee, but it is for him in T8.
