Thank you Ms. Reddy a truly great, special “Woman” - who beat the odds and became with talent a major recording artist. You meant so much to many. RIP - lovely Lady.
Loved her all my life. She gave us so much in her songs. I watched the movie of her life called I Am Woman. Excellent. As with most entertainers her early life was tough.
I really love Helen Reddy. Had all her records in high school. Saw her perform live many times. Was in an English teahouse with a friend when Ms. Reddy walked in. I was so jazzed. She was an awesome entity. Thank you for all your music. You will live on through your music. R.I.P. ✨✨
1973 was a hard year for me also. I started a new job following a very successful person, so there was always a comparison. Anything I did different from my predercessor was questioned. Helen and I have much in common.
Helen ready is a positive example of Immigration. To enter America to make a better life for herself and her family and contribute to our country and respect it and that she did. She lived the American dream.
Good story! I love her voice, totally awesome and on of a kind. Just like Patssy Cline is well known for her voice. Con Hunley, also has a uniquie voice, I had hope that maybe they could had done a duet together. But sadly she passed away last week as both of them were close in age.
It was, she played Nora in the Walt Disney's Pete's Dragon, you can catch some of the scened from that movie on RUclips. Such as "Candle on the Water" and "It's not easy."

@@patricksaxon3983 I know it really is her, I'm just saying it's hard to believe that it's her.
Sounds like a 4 packer
How would you know
@@mpmunger1225 I was an addict for many years and sounded just like her!
