I wish for skin preview they would just show the whole damn dino with exactly how it looks. It was one of my biggest gripes from the last game. Just show me what I'm getting, it's all I need to know. 🤣
I ALWAYS have to watch a few videos to get going, once I get going w something I got it from there but to get the idea where to start or what to start w is where I have like no creativity...I have sooo many ideas they all just mix and I can't get it right unless I watch avideo or two then I do what she does and do what I do n it looks hella good...ngl I'm kind of addicted to making parks now I've deleted all my other parks that don't match up and am starting all over w most maps I have about 4 parks I'm good w...but I'm also like a perfectionist, and if you ate too you know you are NEVER done or satisfied w a park build lol
@@EvolutionSquare Same, gaming beaver is funny, but I liked going back and watching your video from the stream, as I liked the design of your park better, even on a speed challenge you still focused on asstetics and my OCD of things having to be neat, loved it. Can't wait to see what you do with this game when not rushed. And you have a lovely voice to listen to while watching a build. Started watching some of your older videos early this morning. One of the things I genuinely hate about Evolution 2 is that you can't put multiple sauropods in the same enclosure without them being agitated. That's right. I tried putting Apatosaurus in with Brachiosaurus and I had to relocate because they hated each other. That's something I absolutely despise. I loved making sauropod enclosures.
While I would also really prefer more open maps, in this specific instance I can understand why they did it: the mesas & other rock formations cannot be easily replicated with the terrain tools, & they're too large to make into placeables. Of course, I'd prefer if Frontier just made the terrain tools as expansive as mods too (or better yet, like in Planet Zoo), but within the constraints of the game, I'm willing to let it slide. Plus it looks gorgeous.
6:41 have you tried playing the fallen kingdom chaos theory mode? There is an objective in there that asks you to perform status checks on a bunch of groups of dinosaurs and stiggy is among them. I was able to unlock her that way
spent like an hour when i started sandbox just hiring and firing scientists to get a good staff. did a heavy focus on ones that give 20% speed boost of paired with another scientist. then i looked for ones with high stats and faster synth/incubation to pair off with them. You can cut time by about 64% which isnt too bad. Trex and Raptors done in about 10 seconds on 3x speed.
I know the obvious request is a no combat option for sandbox but I'd also like an option to just turn off combat injuries. I really like watching my trikes and pachys fighting for dominance but it's such a pain in the ass to keep healing them.
I 100% agree on sandbox mode being a chore in some regards. You should be able to drop any Dino you want in from the menu, the same as you can every single other element of the park!
For this map, could you not just build a fence around your buildings and put all the dinosaurs outside the fence? Or would the game not react well to having all your dino's technically "outside" a fenced area?
I like the liopluerdon, it looks like an evolution of the salt water crocodile from Australia, the neck scales might be a bit much. But the model looks like an massive salty
To the guy that said “you can’t just copy paste stuff” yes you can and they did. Bugs that existed in the first version of JWE are back in this one. So they just copy pasted the original code to this.
Thank you for the stream. I've been looking forward to it. Love the new game, but haven't mastered the newer control options yet. I don't remember if Frontier ever released a Raptor Skin Pack based on Owen's Raptors - Blue, Charlie, Echo or Delta. I never purchased any of the DLC's , so I don't know. If not, it would be cool see something like that. At least a skin for Blue, because we know that she lived. I hope they don't kill her off in Dominion! Thank you for the Campaign play through also. It really helped me "ease in" to the game. I hope they fixed the "lighting" bug. I haven't come across anything like that yet on the PS4.

1:03:00 you probably could get some small dinos in there like compies so long as they are in the like category. The enclosure is more than large enough for them to have enough space. They only eat each other if their territory overlaps too much.
For me the biggest thing I want changed is the relentless fighting with the small carnivores. They fight every five minutes. It’s to the point I won’t put any of them in my parks anymore.
If you release a dinosaur in story or Chaos mode or Challenge mode its free to release in Sandbox. This game is mind blowing 👍🦕🦖 sry 4 my english im german
Ummm....This is for anyone to! If you put your sandbox's maps to custom, you can switch the terrain to flat, and it will take ALL the hills, trees, and other terrain to flatten your park.

I think the reason the Liopleurodon is like that just cus of the animals used to clone it, prob some crocodilians and maybe monitor lizard? At least put for the scoots on the back the neck spikes just weird lol
There is a weird glitch whenever i release 5 edmontosaur from the hatchery. The last one runs out like a human on my game. Does yours? Or is my edmontosaur possessed XD
My favorite is the carcharodontosaurus, I loved it in the first jurassic Park game, how many skins are there for it? If you build one, can I name it? Sharptooth :) Would love to see a black and red one in the future
They actually shouldn’t get rid of scientists in sandbox because using them you can make some synthesis and incubation take like 2 seconds to complete it’s so useful especially when you get rid on unrest. All you have to do is go super overboard with the skill amount and use positive influence, faster synthesis and faster incubation traits. I managed to make my brachiosaurus batch take 33 seconds to incubate.
During the stream it was mentioned that acro was unlocked in gemrany challange mode but you cant get carnivores in medium hard or jurassic mode for Germany so will I have to do it again in easy mode till I get it?
I wish I could play this game already. Only problem I have is that my computer isn't good enough. Tho I'm getting a new PC soon, witch will be a LOT better than my current PC
I have a question. For all the animals you see in the campaign, do they automatically become available in sandbox with 100% Genome or do you have to do that separately as if so its gonna take me months to get everything at the pace I go at
Hi, to unlock them you have to have released and enclosed for any amount of time. If you tranq a wild Dino and enclose it it will unlock or release a Dino with any genome it will too. If you don’t want the Dino in your park you can tranquillise it and sell it immediately after you release it and it will still be unlocked

It’s cuz they have to compete for food, which is a bit inconsistent between species but is there.

Ye but just change the settings that’s what I do you can do that in sandbox if your not playing sandbox then there’s not much you can do

Holy cow, EVO wasn't kidding, it is SUCH a grind trying to unlock stuff.

It’s interesting because I wasn’t in this stream, but I watched it entirely a while ago, and now I’m watching it again.

I don’t think the skins are always a background with the diagonal stripes, I think they just indicate a primary and secondary color.

Yep, the raptor pack skin set was DLC in the first game. I don't know if it is in JWE 2 though.

How are the rock hit boxes in the game? You think it would be possible to create a natural fence and separate dinosaurs using only rocks?

2:17:20 you can unlock almost all carnivores (incl. hybrids) in North West America. It‘s by far the easiest challenge mode so just go for it
