2004-2008 HIH Halo had all the coolest glitches and tricks. Its sad 1000s of glitch videos are lost now since Mythica shut down. How will people know how to get out of Ivory Tower solo with a super bounce!
Growing up I remember how long these levels are. The Library was always a gauntlet but the levels in Halo 2 were always so long and tiring, but it felt like a true journey by the end of the game. And then Rocats just yippys the fuck out of the kaiyay and the credits role. lmao
Even playing these level regularly they take me no time and I hate it. It seemed like this way bigger thing on a tube tv and original xbox. Those were the days man
@@614jacob2 Nothing to do with hardware, we just hadn't ''solved'' the game yet. Every corner was new, every enemy a threat, with no idea what they'd do next. Now we know grunts are cannon fodder, elites can be combo'd, headshot the brutes, we know who spawns where, we know what the levels have in store for us. Of course they no longer take any time.
This time there was no irony in the title. Goddamn that's an excellent find! This vid has got the "elevator bump/skip/whatever you're gunna name it", the Heretic Leader skip, and the new(er) Banshee movement tech. You love to see it! And the best part is you can probably get an even better time with the sword fly movement!

The hangar itself when you enter the load zone is the load zone for all the areas pretty much, just that nobody found a way to go thru until ltr on Hence why the enemies can just spawn everywhere to come out with pre programmed routes

Why cant you use the elevator glitch on Legendary? Also, I cant access the elevator activation button through the wall. Have they patched this in MCC now? I could however switch weapons with an ally through the wall. But not press the. button
the H2 speedrun community has been working with perfecting this hangar skip for a year or two now, this is definitely the cleanest way i've ever seen it executed... there's a bunch of these guys (HarcThaShark, Monopoli, DrBizz, Cryphon, and heaps of other legends) who really put time into figuring these things out
The only strat you need now is figuring out how to skip "The Oracle" since you killed the Heretic a whole mission early.
Kinda like how the Keyes level in Cursed Halo is just skipped completely because he blasts himself in the face

the sideways movement for the banshee is bugged and its faster than it should be on MCC
