Did this with 2 beer cans. Split one, and slide it over the other. Wire on both ends. 10 to 400pF. Cans already have an insulating wrap.
400 pf ! pretty good ! is it the general rule that the more surface area the more pf's we get ? i imagine the two cans slide nice n close to each other too !
Really ? They have an insulating wrap? What about after heating them up to remove the ink?
And would sanding them make a difference?
@bobhs1605 sanding them would remove the incredibly thin plastic coat they have on the inside.
Thank you so much for this video.

You’ll find that 20mm grey conduit slides nicely inside 25mm grey conduit.
Orange conduit is a little thicker and so 25mm slides inside 32mm
Using the 25mm grey conduit on my 3m wide 40m mag loop, I would blow holes with RF arcing in the conduit with as little as 30-40W
Thanks❤❤
👍👏👏
For loop your yellow copper wire is very resistive loosy....replace a copper wire with copper tape or aluminium foil....remember 10 cm this copper wire degrade eficience in your loop antena....sorry my english is very bad
I made a small one just a fingers size and it has capacitance of 30 to 100 pf
