I think the reason behind Greatswords fragility is their relatively low HP per entity. Har Ganeth Executioners have the exact same issue. HP per entity is 76 for greatswords, 84 for executioners and to make it relative, 90 for undivided chaos warriors.
To be fair, in the lore they can't just mass produce steam tanks, there's only something like 8 in existence and they lost the know how to build them or something along those lines. Not sure about the logistics on the rockets, but they're basically civil war era rockets so not super high tech. Cannons are just standard cannons they don't really factor into this, like having access to canons and gunpowder doesn't provide an alternate way to transport stuff.
@@drafezard7315That was a dumb 8th edition retcon on the tanks, they're hard to make and use, but in prior lore the Empire wasn't that stupid. They're supposed to be at the forefront of new inventions, yet despite making mechanical horses they can't replicate an engine from 500 years ago (the inventor lived in the 21st century, the Empire lasted until the 26th).
@@lich109 How much crazy technology do we have now irl? And yet somehow we can't replicate concrete the Romans made 2000 years ago. Work that one out. The Empire don't look that dumb now, do they? Also, man, you must really hate the Imperium of man .
I wonder if an arch lector on foor might be a bit more effective against tzeench. a similar price point, but has some more support abilities you could splurge on and he does magic damage vs demons.
Do War Wagons have any effective counter aside from cannons/bolt throwers? Their combination of high mass, speed, and missile strength means they just seem to cruise at will and pelt anything that tries to pursue in melee. Double Snow Leopard with their 100 speed, anti-large and frostbite? lol
I don’t know, fell like they would have a hard time landing a hit on them unless they are tarpited. But then you risk alot friendly fire so still not great.
It's the wet dream of every elector count to field a Hellblaster and have it live the entire game.
yeah watching that sit there the whole game was fat
Hey, Martinius here! Thanks for the game mate. Too many mistakes this time, gotta practice more to be able to wrestle with the mighty Turin :)
Gg!
Well played by both!
Damn. Spoilers. Lol

@@fiveforbiting Not dark elves and especially not Harganeth Executioners. Too much masochism
Cheap chaff units are always great! Skaven with their slaves, Chaos dwarfs with their Laborers, the Empire with it's generals

AND THE EMPIRE
I've always thought it's hillarious that the Empire, having cannons, rockets and literal tanks, rely the most on wooden carts pulled by horses

That hellblaster quietly destroying the tzeentch army.
"He manages to surround us with his lord..."
How fat is his lord that he can surround a unit?
Around 14:00, I think the hell blasters offed liie half of the empire knight unit.
Wouldnt be a Turin game without him forgetting about his caster and almost letting him die :)
Take a shot for every time he says chadsword
I feel like furies could be really underrated against empire. Just to take out stuff like those hellblasters

A tournament and it wasnt livestreamed?!? Shame on you Turin!
Wanted to focus and try to win!
@@turinRTS weak Anakin to blame it on us.
Love the content and looking forward to Old World table top channel.
Ah yes, the all too famous ninja squad of the empire.
Love these videos Turin
I see empire, I like
Awesome game!! But I do believe you have to justify the 'That's what she said' joke at 5:43 ;)
i think greatswords have higher model count than other such units, and their formation is tighter
RIP Rudolph, long live Big Hans
Have you been doing something to the new videos? They seem over saturated.
I have not!
God bless you Turin and smoking hot wife!
Its so silly having that group of wagons with 0 ammo muscling points with cap weight and just benny hilling around infantry.
Well, being trampled by horses pulling massive wood/steel wagon components would def do some damage!
I feel like you could have killed Aekold or the caster with the hellblaster! Great game!
