Nathan's stuff normally is like, nice and round and cartoony, and then every so often, he busts out just the coolest shit you've ever seen, and it feels very unexpected every time. It's kinda like the opposite of Julia, where her stuff is usually very angular and detailed, and whenever she makes something cartoonish, it's very funny.
And they're both, equally, always so down on themselves about it while the rest of the team has to scream in their ear about how good of a job they did.

@@friday3592I feel like Nathan does so well when a challenge forced him outside of his comfort zone/usual style or is limiting. He always makes the coolest pieces with those types of challenges! Everytime Nathan says he’s trying to figure something out bc he hasn’t done it before, you KNOOW it’s going to be good
I love how you do these edits. Showing the entire segment makes each drawing actually enjoyable for me without feeling like I'm missing something and I find episodes I want to go back to rewatch too. It's a great way of curating collections of drawings/bits while still getting to watch them form, if that makes sense.
Thank you! I really wanted to bring attention to their workflow first of all, as a sort of "here's how the sausage is made and here's the final product" type of thing.
DeepBlueInk's animation of Julia burning her art straight-up Mandela-effect'd me. I looked back at the screen as I finished making my sandwich and was like "wait, this isn't Hank Hill."
I'm so happy u included the whole Spencer + Julia segment that's so awesome ^_^ anyway this vid has taught me that Nathan's REALLY good at making fucked up evil illustrations the spindly guys in his brain benefit his art at times
Nathan's background/scenery is underrated and his Avernus piece is probably one of my faves of his, glad to see it here first thing! Also love that you included Jacob's music
These speed draws give me so much art inspo and give my artist brain so much dopamine, so having a bunch of various prompts, styles, and parts of them I love is so good.
YESSSS ROWAN I genuinely loved them so much that I created them in DnD and played as them in a very fun oneshot, and unbeknownst to me, I would be given a specific task I had to accomplish within the oneshot, and that task was to assassinate the mayor we were guarding. So I ended up playing using their personality, was an assassin that collected things like poisons right in front of the other characters noses and then at the end went into the rafters and shot a poisoned arrow into him and ran away
I love Spencer's whole journey of discovery in the last clip. "Oh, Julia uses some interesting techniques to keep her art moving, nice!" "Wait, this whole thing was only 45 minutes?!" "Wuh?"
Alright, this is the actual upload this time.

Julia and Nathan are basically opposite ends of the art spectrum
It's surprising how quickly Julia's Castlevania painting went from "oops Oops OOPS" to "fuck it he's a burnt out husk I guess."
YESSSS BURN YOUR ART IT WAS MISSINGGGG BUT IT’S HERE
Spencer’s flat “what” when she says it took 45 minutes is my second favorite Spencer moment.

OMG THE INVERTED COLOR DRAGON ONE OF MY FAV POPOFFS

Also I'm so excited for the solo Karina video, it's been a delight following her Tumblr & seeing her get back into mixed media recently
update I LOVE ROWAN!!! Thank you Jacob for all the wonderful nonbinary character rep we love them ❤❤❤❤
28:54 Julia sounded genuinely disappointed that Nathan wasn’t doing a scary hotdog man 😂

Love to see Nathan’s One Layer here! I joined their Patreon specifically to download that one so it could be my iPad Lock Screen!
Nathan has gotten so good over the years. It's impressive every time I see it :D
I was just looking for your channel again because I was going to rewatch the all Julia one and saw a new video and was so excited!!!
I love these. You should definitely have at least one of Karina’s Moonpaw comics in the next one
YESSSSS thank you for these videos!!!
Everyday, I'm reminded of the (eventual) animation speed draw
I love Spencer's whole journey of discovery in the last clip.
"Oh, Julia uses some interesting techniques to keep her art moving, nice!"
"Wait, this whole thing was only 45 minutes?!"
"Wuh?"
My favorite episode was the one where they rendered each others sketches
I never knew Jacob made the drawfee stream theme?? That's so cool wtf??? I always just assumed it was made by PeopleNeedGoals
nathan and julia should collab on a poster sometime it would be sick
Oops! All Nathans!! 👌
Also I appreciate your content 🤜🤛 Thanks!
Np! Thanks for watching 💜
