Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I’m learning this as my first song on a 7 string. Love Polaris and they’re one of the main reasons I bought an electric after all these years.
Hi man, great work!!! Got my first 7string, what string gauge you use for this low tunning please? I have 11-64 for 26,5 inch scale and the lowest string doesn´t sound as well as Yours. Yours is sharper and more specific. Mine is lets say muddy. Like bassguitar with distortion :) Maybe its about postprocessing? Thanks for help.
What's up buddy, Im using 10 - 70's D'Addario Strings with the 7 being a custom and the rest 10 - 52 (light top heavy bottom). I'd recommend you to get a set for an 8 string guitar because that will be a lot cheaper, since the custom one costs a lot. I'm not sure if the lack of sharpness is caused by the strings you use. It could also be a consequence of your pickups(1), the setup of the pickups(2), the eq(3) or something else. (1) i've changed the legator pickups since they were total garbage and muddied the sound drasticly (2) try adjusting the pickup hight. There are alot of guides for that (my lowest string sits at about 2.25 milimeters over the 12th fret and the pickup about 2.5 milimeters away from the string) (3)I'd recommend you to either scoop out a little at 120-150 Hz or to get a multi band compressor and do the same. hopefully this can help you. Good look with finding the tone you desire and have a nice day :^)
@@Tillinator Hi man. Thanks so much for your reply. I will definitely try the 8 string set. I got PRS with Seymour Duncan pickups (Alpha-Omega) and they are great, really love them. Got SD Nazghoul on my six-string and also kicks the ass. But about my question - of course, I couldn't sleep from it :D so I played a lot with the settings of the amp head and I added some overdrive and EQ to the loop, salted the treble, pulled down the mids, and finally it sounds as it should. Just about 3 hour of trying, screaming and crying, but it´s woth it :) On six-string I played a lot in drop C # and I was surprised how much different setup a seven-string needs in the same tuning to sound great. Well, now just to learn the whole song, I think I'll give you about 100+ views here just today :D TABs are perfect. Thank You mate, You were the last puzzle piece of what made me to buy seven-string. You and the Polaris :D
I don't know what you mean; which parenthesis? If you mean the brackets in the tab: those are tied beats, where the bar isnt long enough to fit the whole note inside. sorry :x
This is so good I thought this was the real song 😂
I feel flattered 🥰

Couldn’t agree more and lol we’re both playing as our first song for the 7 string 🙏
This is an awesome cover, the mixing is so good! Sick guitar too! Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much. Love to hear when people recognize the work that‘s put into the entire project
This is spot on
I see that reaper in the back. That’s what I’ll be learning this on

The ones with parenthesis ??
I don't know what you mean; which parenthesis?
If you mean the brackets in the tab: those are tied beats, where the bar isnt long enough to fit the whole note inside.
sorry :x
@@Tillinator i got the plug in to change tuning im gonna try to learn it now
@@Tillinator what is the tuning again im looking for it in the description
Welche Saiten bzw.
am I an idiot or can I not see the tuning
C# G# C# G# F# A# D#. My mistake :D
@@Tillinator haha all good! Everyone else figured it out. Just not me haha Thanks mate!
