As I have said before, you take myself on journeys that I will never experience but thru your eyes I am ever appreciative of this, as I do experience them. Barcelona certainly has the most interesting variety of architecture. This hotel was a little austere for my taste, but everybody in the comment section who has stayed here loved it. And the views were spectacular. My favorite thing was that majestic fish sculpture. I'll bet you experienced some new Michelin 2-star taste sensations--can't wait to read your review.! Yes! Have stayed here for several nights in lovely Barcelona! My favorite hotel in this area. It's within walking distance to the trains, downtown area and right on the beach. And I agree, the view of the sea from the bed is magnificent!!
Barcelona is one of my favourite cities…for the history and the architecture especially Gaudi. I have been there twice and really preferred where I stayed which was right in the Gothic District. I liked being immersed in that wonderful culture. I agree with the other comment which observed that that hotel has no soul. Too austere for me. Looking forward to watching your video on Sagrada Familia which is one of the most amazing buildings in the world. The genius of Gaudi!

I absolutely loved the look of the food on the tasting menu! They’re works of art. I’d love to try a tasting menu sometime. Loved that writing desk in the room. I could imagine sitting there at night, looking out at the setting sun before the dimly lit night comes along…
Feeling sad , should be experiencing this in 3 weeks for 5 nights, will be our first time to visit Barcelona ( 3 overworked underpaid doctors here in US) because of the recent covid surge we have to cancel our Europe trip ,I have been to different Ritz Carlton in other countries but I love RC in Kapalua and Macau . This hotel video review was an excellent use of my time. I've visited Barcelona 2x: once in '10 and again in '11. Both times were for embarking aboard cruise ships for Western Med sailings. The first time I stayed in Barcelona was at the Hotel Majestic for one night. The second time I stayed in the city was at Hotel Conde de Barcelona, which is located on the Passeig de Gracia in the Eixample district. During my second stay in Barcelona, I took several tours of the city and the surrounding area, and I agree with the reviewer: this is a very beautiful city to stay in and visit its sights, especially the buildings designed by favorite son Antonin Gaudi. Although I haven't stayed at Hotel Arts, it remains on my bucket list as a contender for a hotel stay. Question: does the hotel's description give any hint about the meaning of the X-shaped struts on the building's facade? Regarding the breakfast buffet, I noticed that many of the foods are serve yourself while other tourist places such as cruise ships are switching to servers-serving the food to the guests. Any indication about whether that will happen? Last thing: do you have any thoughts about other hotels in the city, e.g., the W hotel that looks like a giant sail at the entrance to the port? Thanks again for a great review of this incredible hotel.
I stayed @ Hotel Arts a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I took hundreds of pictures on their grounds. During my visit they had a hip Jazz Station playing on the hotel channel which I listened to the entire time of my visit! However, I didn't really enjoy Barcelona and will never visit it again, nor recommend any of my Associates to visit. I didn't find their citizens to be that friendly, but Hotel Arts, 👍🏽👍🏽!
A Manhattan doctor and wife went there. They live in the low 80's, east side, and the wife called and said she wanted to move in and stay there for the rest of her life. I thought WOW.
Some of those places you were at in the past weeks look like there was never any comfortable place to sit lol - for young people who don't care or aren't settled lol. Now we're back to comfort, nice finishes, and beauty.
I haven’t been to many Ritz Carlton locations, but I love Ritz Carlton Herzliya! You should definitely try it as well as Six Senses Shaharut in the spring-early summer season. :) Thank you once again for an excellent video!
Stayed here about 15-18 years ago prior to a Radisson Diamond cruise. Did not have suite but rooms had amazing view of city. Don’t think that other tower was there so better views. Was so jet lagged did not explore grounds much.

1. Great video as always! 2. Having stayed at the W on the other end of the beach there, I have a hard time seeing the appeal of the Ritz here. Don't get me wrong, it's well appointed and I'm sure the service is excellent - as it should be for a Ritz! But if you showed someone some of the footage and didn't tell them what hotel it was, they'd likely confuse this for one of many other brands first. Just seems too 'corporate' to me.

But, I have been to the Sheraton Four Points by the airport in Mesa, Arizona; Are you sure that's not where you filmed this? Shoot, I've been in Quality Inn rooms that were more comfortable than that room! That was an upgrade? I never imagined I'd watch a video about a Ritz-Carlton and think, "nope!" I'm sad you had to endure that on our behalf.
I had this exact same suite when I stayed at this hotel 15 years ago. When I went into the bar the woman I saw were out of this world beautiful and the men very striking as well. Like something out of a movie this place. Madrid is nothing compared to Barcelona. I can just imagine the lifestyle famous footballers on Barcelona team have!
Wonderful!!! I love Barcelona, it is my favorite town in Europe. I also love the design of the hotel like all the design hotels in Barcelona. It is the mix of modern design and vintage. The food is crazy and what i also like is the breakfast style, very minimalist.
Love your films--stayed here for 5 nights in July. Pros-- Lovely Pool area and restaurant--staff here are second to none-seamless. Good location. Stunning breakfast room and very high quality breakfast--staff again excellent. Nice big gym which is always empty. Price point is excellent in comparison with MO and the dreadful W. Cons; Rooms are very dated with filthy windows-they wash them monthly alledgedly. There is nowhere to have dinner within the hotel except the Michelin Star restaurant which was only open on weekends. Room service simply not fit for purpose. After dinner cocktail bar was a little bit of a waste of space?! All in all considering the low prices good for a few days away--nothing more.
Acknowledging that people that have actually stayed here said they loved it, I kinda feel it would be like staying in an office block - cold and corporate. I’ve stayed in the luxury end of Marriott - St Regis and the Luxury Collection - and even at this level there is something missing, they lack soul. I think the luxury hotel traveller is looking for something more authentic, exciting, special, warm and unique - not just a corporate hospitality management model rolled out internationally.

I have stayed there twice…..it is beautiful, but the two towers connecting elevators took forever!!!! Our suite was fantastic!!!!

It's a set menu (setting menu). And I got a 85 euros discount thanks to my booking via Virtuoso ;-)

it's because that's a 10+ cousre meal in a michelin star restaurant. In normal restaurants sizes are much bigger for 2 course meals
