    I had these bought for me sometime ago, I had been using non genuine straps before with no issues whatsoever. However today I decided to use the Fiamma ones, still brand new in the box, very easy to apply, put one side on and tensioned up went to the other side tensioned that one up and it snapped clean off at the Adjusting buckle, the metal hook flying off hitting my motorhome side garage door and left me with a couple of lovely little dents on my door. God knows how much that will cost to repair…..Thank you Fiamma.😡😡

      Hi dave , thanks for watching the video , they’re a good investment I think , it’s just that little bit of extra security & peace of mind isn’t it , especially if your away from the van for a any given time walking dog or wherever and that ol english wind picks up , you won’t panic & have to dash quick back to wind awning in 😂 👍

    Do they work if you have sides and front canopy fitted?

    • @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel
      @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel  10 месяцев назад

      if you have an extra rail slot or somewhere else you can attach them too like at each end of the awning somewhere , then yes 👍

    Hi mate, was that awning fully extended?

    • @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel
      @TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel  4 года назад +2

      Hi , Not fully no I never had the room if I remember correctly but it would have still had the same result , fully extended then half a turn back is the right way , then I’ll add the tie down kit. Thanks for watching

    You dont have the awning up properly. You need to wind that back a little to put tension in the canvas. Its great with the straps though, much safer, though those ropes are a bit ugly to look at.
