With the development of the Internet good and bad things happened.
On one side we see employment and access to education on the other side mental health problems and isolation.
Children do use the internet and maybe we don’t analyse what they are watching, what they are doing and most importantly what they are consuming. Some influencers do use their children to make videos and those children are called kidfluencers, kidfluencer is large market in world but they are not doing this with consent of their children because they are eventually children not an adult they don’t know what they are doing until they get mature.

The trouble is who decides how much is too much? My kids are 20 and 14 yrs old now. Yet I am still wary of splashing their pix about on facebook or insta. I have so far managed to keep my 14 yr old son from joining instagram and delayed buying him a smartphone. The older one joined insta at 18 once he joined college. They're both there on discord though; because they're into gaming and their gamer friends are there. So far, it appears that they're dealing with people they know in real life too. But I can't stop worrying about SM influences on them and what if they decide to turn vloggers or influencers later on in life because it is so remunerative?
Agar kisi baap ko aisi video ko jarurat pad k kuch samajh aye toh aise baap ko mc bc baap kehana galat nahi hoga
@@vidyaarvind4458let em do What they want
@@unr34lk1dx6 yes, they will do what they want only. Nevertheless can't help worrying about the negative influence SM has on both content creators and content consumers. Much of the mental health issues and behaviour and mood disorders people are suffering from today invariably has links to the amount of time they spend online, in particular on SM. Whether people acknowledge this fact or not, doesn't alter the truth.
Once people get affected by overconsuming these things disregarding family advice, they also expect family support to overcome the ill effects.

As a teenager on Instagram, I understand my boundaries and can differentiate what's genuine from what's not. Social media isn't inherently negative; it offers updates. But the key is using it wisely and not getting ensnared by the popularity game.

Parents are treating their kids as fame and money generating source of entertainment rather than kids and snatching their innocence. It's needs to be stopped and proper guidelines must be mandatory! Thanks for bringing this issue
Parents profiting from kids has been there since decades. Earlier it was the film industry when stars like madhubala, sridevi, Sarika, Daisy Irani, Shweta basu Prasad and many more joined as child artists and it was their parents who pushed them towards filmdom.
Unless parents are willing to control their own presence on SM and the urge to consume SM content, FOMO will continue to strike them and they will sooner or later expose their kids to SM. Whether we like it or not, the fact is that social media following has become an easy way to make money and therefore people are more than willing to spend time and effort to do whatever it takes to grab eyeballs.
No buddy not all the parents are exploiting their children. Only those chapris who find another chapri for them get married and produce babies to make money. These uneducated, unemployed guys are the reason for such exploitation of children 😢
That is why we need monsters in the society.
People need to be scared.

I'm not an adult yet, but i totally agree with you Sarthak. The body shaming thing or the comparison of oneself with some other is absolutely true. When I was a kid, I used to watch videos of some 'kidfluencers' and envy them for having a "perfect" life. I even used to get jealous of them for having the kind of birthday parties or toys or any other fun which i wanted to have. Slowly, i also stared to get insecure about my appearance by comparing myself to the very much older girls. But as I grew up, i realised that social media is heavily sugarcoated. The so called 'perfect' lives are not actually perfect, in fact the lives of those kids is actually worse than mine from some aspects. I also introduced myself to some better content and thankfully I didn't fall into this trap of "influencing". Thankyou for calling out this issue happening around us.
Glad for you and never ever feel insecure about yourself❤ everyone is different and unique
I am a teenager boy and I used to have a friend. She used to make reels showing her body parts which she wasn't supposed show to public. She then started receiving threats. She even didn't tell this to anyone that she was receiving threats. I also told her to stop making this videos but she didn't listen. I didn't know at that time that she was receiving threats. She gradually stopped talking to me and the entire friends group even to her family. Then she failed her class 10 board exams and even had her break up. And then the unexpected happened. She ended her life. She was my best friend and I miss her till this day.

This is very practical topic, it's happening in my family itself, my nephew watching vlogs of chapris and becoming like that, no food without phone, getting angry, and eye problems, I'm too addicted to it but I know what's the problem but they don't, sadly the reality.
No habit is permanent...he/she just need real attention..it takes a week only to create a new habit..Replace it with something Good
Well we needed this, no one was talking about it thanks Sarthak ❤
3:45 exactly 💯 this is what I always wanted to say and this is how society loses its management.
Dear Sarthak ji
You played a crucial role to explain this topic in a easiest and understanding manner, hope that today's parents will take this matter seriously.. Kids really don't know about the dark side of social media. They don't know how creators and influencers struggle behind the scenes. even that influencer is good for them or not. They get influenced & try to be like them. Kids should focus on their study, enjoy their childhood in a purest form and parents should be also cautious about it.
Bhai bitter truths...I want to share it with others, but at the same time I don't want. When people share their kids' childhood moments online without much thought, they’re usually driven by emotion, believing they’re doing something good for their kids. I know they might feel hurt if I pointed this out. It bothers me when people carelessly post their private lives online, but it’s even more concerning when it involves their kids. Working in a field that shows me how scary the internet can be, sometimes I just feel like distancing myself from it entirely.
I have been noticing this too. Even 14 year kids watching sigma reels, these kind of reels really change their behaviour. Simply just compare your 14 year old self with today's 14 year old kid. Our life was so good when we had limited data internet, we used to go out and play but now whole world is in social media
Salute sir aapne to meri aankhe khol dii salute hai aapko janab 💯💯
Very well said. It's really scary how the parents are also party to the mental and emotional degradation of the kids.

Well done Sarthak, you have made video on very important topic. I'm a teacher and most of my students are on social media posting their videos on Instagram and Facebook.
It has become a contagious disease for kids.
I’m 19 right now and I myself started using social media from when I was 13 or so. But now that I’ve grown up, I see really small kids dancing on adult songs with unappropriate dance moves it annoys me and bugs me so much. Parents should not hand phone to kids at such young age in my personal experience. During my time the social media and tiktok things were just starting to grow so thankfully I had the time to go outside with the other kids to play in the feilds , make tree houses, got spankings for coming home with muddy clothes and so and so. But these day I dont even see any kids playing outside, all they do is play online games, talk about latest trends, their latest profile picture etc. Sometimes I do think that we were the last generation that played outside and got to be kids.

Apna bachpan main bataun to phir I am a 2000s kid but lucky to be born before Social Media era. My life was around my games which I mostly played indoors as ek skin disease ke kaaran main bahar nahi ja pati thi. Maine apna bachpan computer par games mein ya pretend plays jaise teacher teacher mein bitaya hai, pretend play is better as they develop mind. Computer games are still good to an extent baaki dance, singing, wagerah khel khel mein karte they ya I performed scenes of films to search my passion as well as had hobbies like drawing later on in after turning 10 I was more into sports. Ghar ke andar khelna tak is better than being on mobile or social media. Filmon mein agar child character ki demand ho phir bhi no problem in getting child actors who are interested in acting as wahan par atleast they bond with other kids or people on set (Gadar child actor shared his pleasant experiences.) Problem tab hoti thi jab teenager ladkiyan filmon mein 14 se 15 ki umar se heroine bankar aati hain. Teenage is a crucial phase as well as childhood. Social Media par photos daalna tak is fine bat bachche jo content banate hain usko I don't like. This was my whole take on it.

Good to see that someone is making video on this topic
Wah sarthak bhai.. I was just discussing it in my mind yesterday and today your video give me a goosebump ... What a coincidence.. Really appreciating you and your team... May your video open the eyes of those who traps their children into the social media culture directly or indirectly..
Mene bhi ye cheez notice ki thi jab me pehle insta chalata tha to ek FOMO (fear of missing out) aata tha ki mujse chote bache kitna kuch kar ray he kitni professional life jee rahe he par fir realise huaa ki bo sab show off ke chakkar me apni life barbad kar rahe he unak bachpan barbad kar rahe he or abhi me insta bhi nai chalata 😊😊 and literally it is a serious issue but no one is talking about it
