Actually police of Philippines have tried their level best on catching the culprit..they even arrested him(her ex bf) but apparently his family was extremely powerful, they basically hired the top notch lawyer and the police were powerless due to lack of evidence, had to release him...there was tampering done on initial autopsy so they even tried for second autopsy where it was realised that she was forced upon..but it was too late, the culprit's lawyer was able to plant the scapegoat and make him confess to police..this was basically the dead end of investigation, police cudnt do much.
This is the only reason why I don't accept any unknown person's request whether man or woman in any of the social media platform. It's better not to have a friend/bf/husband rather than dying in this way.

Very convincing story by the police to wrap up the case. Find a guy who looks like a murderer (his look really gave me chills) and make a story of vengeance! Too many things don't make sense here: 1. The guy in the footage does not look at all like Roneto. The footage guy looks taller and fairer. 2. If they were having argument in front of the church, no one will see it and report it? 3. If Christine was forcefully taken to that spot, then why didn't anyone hear her scream? She was more likely kidnapped and taken to the spot out of plain sight. 4. Let's not even start about the rape part. It's complete damn coverage by the police. They didn't suspect rape even though her private parts were completely destroyed. No rape suspect means no DNA gathering so there cannot be a DNA match. How clever!! 5. And what internal bleeding!! The kind of injury you are talking about here will have the girl drenched in blood around her private area, but she also could be murdered somewhere else and brought to that field later.

1. The guy in the footage does not look at all like Roneto. The footage guy looks taller and fairer.

I still can't believe that the real culprit is dead because in the CCTV footage you can see the man is not that old and he lookes still young around the same age as the girl and also the final footage of the culprit was a bit fat, but in the CCTV footage the culprit walking beside here wasn't that fat. He was little bit taller than her. How can a man give out he murdered someone when whe was captured for a robbery. Also it's suspicious how he died inside the prison cell. (This is just my thoughts...I guess this case will remain a mystery in my head.)

That boy in the CCTV looked so young there is no way that the old man was the culprit the original killer is still alive, the police had cleverly made this story and killed him on the locker room so that the case can be closed this seemed like a pre-planned murder it's so horrific and sad to see this much level of cruelty with someone how can a human do this.

1. No way he worked that hard so her identity wouldn't be known and then confesses THAT easily.
2. Was the church not close to the village? If so, then he couldn't have taken her to the field without her screaming and fussing all along. SOMEONE would have had to notice it along the way or at the field, no matter how late at night.
3. The man in the footage is CLEARLY so much thinner than this guy. It is appalling how anybody would believe this is the same guy.
4. Police had earlier checked the phone, and found nothing to investigate about the fact that she went to meet this guy from the internet? Or their conversations? Why go to the ex before the current guy?
5. Had they gone a LITTLE beyond the damn village, there is a chance they could have found her. Helped her. The timeline, although doubtful if true, may have been near the time they searched IN the village.
6. They could have easily tried finding acid stores nearby and asked who bought it.
7. The fact that they disclosed misleading details on postmortem tells they wanted to get away with this case as soon as possible.
8. Also, and I am sorry for this, despite the warnings I looked up the picture. [PLEASE DON'T, it's horrific, don't get caught in the reverse psychology. Don't.] Anyways, my point is, from the way you described the murder, there isn't nearly enough blood on her body or on the ground.

yess the police is al fault. When they got o knew about the acid then they should have checked the stores and we know that the real culprit is still alive and maybe have done that to another girl also. If that incident happened on the field then off course someone would have heard her screaming noises. The way her face looks is so scary . We cannot even imagine the pain felt by her at that time and that person is actually alive. I am sure he did not suicide and he was not the criminal.
