@@migduh I just google that story, sounds really good. I have to read it sometime. I’ve read a little bit of Arthur C. Clarke but it was years ago. I’m glad I stumbled upon this, and in the comments of a PDD video, nice!lol thanks.
I come back to this video every once in a while. It just reminds me of my childhood and teen years. Some of us, like Jon, live our lives in relation to others. For them, the dream is always "Me and my boys will move to LA and become Lakers" or "Me and my boys will create a hyper-successful company and get rich together." But you can't live your whole life with your friends, and one day you realize that you all are going to have separate paths in life. Even if you love each other, you can't all pursue the same dream together. And it sucks.
Anyone else wondering how these guys have so few subscribers, and why they stopped making videos 11 months ago, and why they have so few videos, and how that ended up with them on SNL? These guys are hilarious! Make more!
Martin and John are the sons of long time SNL Writers Tim Herlihy and Steve Higgins (yes Higgins from the Fallon show) so nepotism to answer your question but still they are hilarious and deserve getting the gig even tho they're backed by their parents
Why is no one talking about the bit where john says “if im honest, i do. i rarely watch the NBA, I have no idea what their bodies look like.” And martin and ben say “you dont even play basketball!” And john says “I said we could practice after graduation tomorrow, im free all day” I AM DEAD. Johns delivery in hilarious
@Buzz The Buzzard true, but I’d never have found this without the secret link - when someone gives you directions do you thank them or the people at your destination? Plus I think my sub is thanks enough...jk kinda. 😉
Nice secret link today and props to the dude wearing the Scotland T :) Hi fae a bonny Scot....well actually it's a not so sunny N.Ireland but I am a Scotsman :)
"I said we can start practicing tomorrow! I'm free all day!!!" 🤣🤣🤣 That line put me over!
Over what?
fckyeah Sean Davis
"This piece of junk? Its just a tiny guitar I play when I'm pissed off."
This gets me every effing time.
What happens when they find out he's only able to play Coldplay songs?
Kill
I thought that was Bitter Sweet Symphony by the Verve.... I'm stoned as hell though...
@@chrisserrific It was Clocks by Coldplay
I was so into the vid I completely missed all the Coldplay stuff until I saw comments here.
@@chrisserrific I can see that ... 🙂
Cannot explain the joy/dread the line “look,,,the stars went out” bring me
For real. It’s so absurd yet profound
Reminds me of that short story, Nine Billion Names of God

Bruh I lost it at the “I said shut up Martin”
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
"in the fall?!? fuck you, congrats, fuck, no" had me rolling
"Now I'm gonna end up a Twitch streamer, just like my dad" SENT me 😂💀😂💀😂
Me too I died
Ditto.
Sent you where?
I'm binge watching all of these now that they got on SNL.
Yep haha, talented dudes
same
They're brilliant
preach
They did?!?!
"Not even the ice cubes, bitch." This skit is full of so many hilariously memorable one-liners.
"They told me life would be full of surprises, but i didn't expect this" such a good line
This made 7 minutes feel like a hour. In a good way. Yall told a beautiful story. Yet a comedy.
a hour?

“don’t you sometimes feel like the stars are shining just for us” is that a fucking coldplay reference
they play a coldplay song so that is a proper assumption
@@seth5394 Fix You and Speed of Sound.
@@arthurisherwood-mote1472 nope, the second one is Clocks.
Good catch I totally missed that
This is how all professional musicians start their career.
You laid down the truth and everyone is scared to know it.
These videos always toe the line between batsh*t crazy and heartwarming and I. Love. That.
also the line between lame and awesome, somehow being both at the same time
the delivery on “i wanna kill that guy” is SO funny
I really thought the video was gonna follow that line and they were gonna plan how to kill the dude then carry it out.
Yeah totally
“Thanks for killing me, Martin”
- Tony C.
The smug little laugh after he revealed he never meant to give away all his mom's fridge food reeked with authenticity. So accurate. Alarming, really.
They’re all quite good actors will great delivery!
I had no idea where this was going the entire time/10
"I'm a big stinky fat WET dreamer" 😂😂😂 wheeeeeeeze!
that was the most heartwarming story i've seen since forever.
The “mediocre percussionists” killed me
delivery on "It's been our dream since 8th grade" deserves an award
"Not even the icecubes bitch" really should have caught on. That line is amazing.
The writing of these sketches is so unreal

I died when Martin said he was "as dumb as a dog".
Surprised this channel doesn't have more subs. These guys have some real talent. I enjoyed pretty much all the way through.
"it's just a tiny guitar..." I snorted so loud at that one.
Anyone else wondering how these guys have so few subscribers, and why they stopped making videos 11 months ago, and why they have so few videos, and how that ended up with them on SNL? These guys are hilarious! Make more!
I found them first on tik tok they’re so funny
they recently blew up on twitter and tiktok, and two of their dads are current or former writers on SNL lol
@@babygrinchbinch wait, really….. like that seems like it would be the plot of a sketch that would be featured on this channel….

I couldn't stop smiling from amusement. Weird and hilarious.
The looks he starts giving as they are dancing are legendary.
the delivery at 2:27 sounds exactly like drew gooden

2.5 years later and I still have Coldplay stuck in my head thanks to this video. Has comedy gone too far?

Such good actors. I love the tension in these scenes

I watch this sketch at least twice a month. It still makes me laugh every time
I like how everyone is thanking Phil for the secret link but no one is thanking *please don't destroy* for making the video.
Buzz The Buzzard ikr. It’s not like Phil can hear them.

"I just popped in to use your bathroom" is my favorite line
The percussion bit got me so hard 😆😆😆😂😂😂
ok.. right after she asks for two mediocre percussionists, even though i knew it was coming, it still got me.
"i'm going to end up a twitch streamer just like my dad"

Strange but amazing. And very well produced! Looking forward to more of these!
Tony Carberini and Jerry Diarrhea, they come up with the best names 😂😂
I lost it once he started playing two melodies at once
So well written: funny, surprising and kinda emotional you all rock
