We have a neighbor, a single mother with a teen daughter, and she is having some very serious medical issues.On top of her autoimmune disease and failing pancreases, they think she may also have cancer. She asked me if I could help her sell a couple of vehicles as she needs the cash to pay her bills. I realize that this is not going to carry her very far and started looking into a GoFundMe page. Hello . . . Thank you for you information, Salvador. I am a senior professional - primarily training and development and project management. Covid restrictions had a devastating impact on my work where I drastically need to build cash flow. I want to monetize my skill sets so I don't have to seek employment, which at my age can be a challenge. I don't want to campaign just for personal expenses, but to actually build a financial base to build a business presence that I can operate pretty much digitally or physically, and internationally as well.

Salvador, Great Video. Im a newbie and working in Papua New Guinea. I have had an idea for some years to instal water bores in isolated villages here. People take plastic buckets to creeks to get water and it seems to me that it would make sense to install a solar bore in the village areas. Bore would also assist their small scale agriculture gardens. QUESTION: Can I use GoFundMe from Papua New Guinea?

I am a homeless, full-time college student in san jose california. I, my girlfriend (who also goes to school full-time, and is locked into a job that gives her 3hrs of work every three weeks), and my cat have pretty much no money besides EBT, and have no family members willing to help us or able to support us. Sorry if I missed it, but how do you connect the donors to your bank account? One of your tutorials said to never give your wire routing number so, how do you link their donations to your bank?
The fund stays in your gofundme account, when you have reached your goal you can then send it from the app to your bank

What do you recommend I do to try to raise money for my BBQ channel on RUclips? The kind of experimenting with cooks I do are very expensive (example I want to smoke 10 briskets at once in a Weber Smoker) and my channel is very small so funding is difficult.

@Salvador Briggman - What if she doesn't have a bank account? A lot of people in need don't even have a bank account. The woman who needs help only has prepaid money cards or a Netspend or PayPal. Is having a bank account mandatory?
So she can USE donation money for help while attempting to collect for her cause?

Thanks for this useful video. Are you able to advise if people living outside the USA, e.g. in the UK, will be able to use the GoFundMe? For example, in the UK, the equivalent of ZIP CODE is Postcode, which does not have the same format as the ZIP CODE. Also, I assume the currency has to be USD, nothing else.

Thank you for the video tutorial on GoFundMe. My question is about using GoFundMe to raise funds in multiple states. I volunteer at a CA-based nonprofit which is only registered to raise funds in CA and we're doing an animal resuce fundraising campaign. US states require nonprofits who solicit funds in their state to register in that state.
Do you know if we raise money via GoFundMe that eliminates or fulfills the requirement for nonprofits that use GoFundMe service to register in other states? Hope you can help.

I’m a Former Marine & I’m Disabled 100% but happened on my time in September 22 1992 I’ve been fighting to save my leg for 33 years and was getting morphine due to all the titanium in my limbs now there taking it away even though my pain is terrible worse, I’m done but can’t get no help from VA no more so I need to go to regular doctor but I have zero health insurance so my brother in law said do a GoFundMe but I have zero experience plus do to hitting van at night broke down in slow lane and I was on motorcycle hit him at freeway speeds have TBI so I need coarse so brother in law can do GoFundMe to get my leg amputated thanks for any help to know how much your coarse costs
