Kripp's impression on the new cards: Druid: Kun the Forgotten King (0 mana 7/7): too slow to play or game-breaking. Lunar Vision: pretty interesting, cost a bit high. Pilfered Power: seems powerful, doesn't fit current Druid deck. Mark of the Lotus: good to exist, but, meh. Hunter: Piranha Launcher: cool card, not so compatible with Hunter though. Priest (gonna overlord in the future!): Dragonfire Potion: INSANITY! Wow, NUTS! Dragonoid Operative: Absolutely insane. Pint-Size Potion: probably amazing or useless. To be decided. Big-Time Racketeer: It's OK. Second-Rate Bruiser: Reasonable, nice card. Kooky Chemist: Worse than Crazed Chemist, will be seen a lot in Arena. Patches is basically a free Boar with any Pirate. My question about Patches is, if I Gang Up Patches and play a Pirate, do I get 3 Patches? That would be a pretty crazy combo.
Yep, you get all the copies in your deck for free. The way I see it, having that card in your deck means something like "the first pirate you play has +1 / +1", with no need to play anything, just cause. I think any aggro deck in this world would be happy getting a 1/1 minion for free, right?
A very experienced and successful Priest player here. Let me tell you my opinions. First off, I don't think that AT THE MOMENT, before this expansion, our decks and situation is as bad as 95% of the players say. You see the stats of C'Thun Priest and Dragon Priest abd you think Priest is horrible. But you didn't try out regular Control Priest, or especially Resurrect Priest. My Resurr. deck took me to legend in the last 3 seasons (then I stopped playing lol, I'm on EU by the way) and it's a combination of strong cheaper minions to resurrect, deathrattle minions, carddraw, control cards, back then I played Yogg in it too but since the nerf I took it out, that's the only change I made.. since August, and it's still awesomely successful. It doesn't really have a bad opponent, and it's winrate must be superhigh. I'm also happy for the Karazhan expansion, I know purify is useless but the other two cards considerably made any type of priest stronger except for Dragon Priest and non-existing C'Thun Priest. For streamers that play Priest in my opinion deffo check out Zetalot; he understands the class really well and is absolutely successful with it, few weeks ago at legend rank he went on a 13 win streak with a pretty basic control priest. Now on these cards: I think the boardclear is insane, but it's not as insane as Lightbomb was especially for our minions, well obviously it's better for a Dragon Priest deck. I'd actually keep this card the same as Blizzard made it to help Priest rather than nerf all new cards, I'll just nerf the other ones "a bit more". Drakonid something: Yeah this card is really powerful, so powerful for Priest that it might even push out one of the Twilight Guardians. To be honest the discovery from your opponents deck is probably MUCH more better than drawing a card, since aggressive decks will be probably get crushed by other priest cards, and against control decks you gain a card that you choose and it's probably a really helping big minion/spell, also you are 1 less card (2 if you play 2 of these) into fatigue than drawing. I'd give it rather a 4/6 or 3/6 body for sure in favour of balance. PSP: It's too clunky, people thought of comboing it with SW:Horror but that boardclear isn't so good especially after the expansion, and Priest will have so many good cards now that it will not fit into the decks. Talonpriest: Not as good as Dark Cultist was, I fear this card less than most people do (for constructed), and I don't think it will be the most important card to put in Priest decks, will get into some Priest decks though. The 1 mana take control: It's a really good card compared to Shadow Madness, will be seen much but in the first weeks only, then people will start using less 2 attack minions and people turn back to Cabal since it's slower but better, and the spell won't be as needed in the early game anymore. I'd swap it's Mana cost with Purify's though. I think eventually Blizzard is gonna nerf the boardclear, but that's all, maybe some for Arena reasons but I'm not really good at Arena so I don't care Lastly, people see Priests now as Shamans were back then and mostly now too. I'd say it won't be as bad of a situation. Reasons: 1. Priest won't have aggressive decks, it's less cancer and is slow so not good enough for those "get legend fast" decktypes. 2: Priest requires a lot of skill. Especially the deckbuilding. Average players won't know which plays to make and what to play, whereas at Shaman you just went face. It will definately not be as common aftertime, and people mostly will suck with it first week so. 3. I think there will be soulcrushing Priest decks, that in certain people's hand will have even 56%+ winrate, maybe even 60% (!) but those cards and synergies will be hard to find. There will be so many different possibilities, and finding the best deck(s) will take time even for the bests. I think there won't be specific Priest decks, like "that Dragon Priest deck", "that Control Priest deck" because of the many variations, so that's awesome for people hating netdeckers. And don't worry, if Priest will be tough now, it will only be in December since Priest is losing deffo the most in the rotation.
I forgot to mention that my deck also has N'Zoth for a threat/finisher, also I'm very glad with Blizzard's expansions lately, the last 3-4 have been great, especially WoTG and now this, my only problem with it is that we got too strong both I LOVE the card designs, so unique and interesting effects, I really love it, and furthermore Blizzard has found many different effects to counter aggro. Blizzard, you have my respect and faith.
No one bats an eye when Priest lose their lightbomb(the only good "absolute" board clear for priest that's at a reasonable cost) and dark cultist( basically the only early minion priest can play without guilt, unlike shrink meister and pyromancer), now they gets replacement for both and a good dragon to keep dragon priest alive, everyone screams op...
No one played shaman until blizzard made them super overpowered. nobody plays priest until mean streets of gasgetzan makes them super stupid overpowered. nice job balancing blizzard.
Nate Hicks plenty of people play priest, u just rarely see em cuz theyre in either lower ranks or super high legend where cancer isn't everywhere. although I agree with u that blizzard sucks at balancing.
Sneederino's Old Kripperino You can clearly tell they're meta defining overpowered, unless blizzard gives all other classes god-level cards and priest literally nothing else.
Nate Hicks so far they aren't quite meta defining but I think they'll be up there with the other strong archetypes which is totally ok cuz maybe priest will see some widespread play now.
"We need to boost priest!" "What is the one half-ass ok priest deck?" "Dragons! Let's boost it to 11!" "Done, let's throw in some other OP shit for good measure!"
Jon Belmont Yeah, like when you sit on double preps and no Auctioneer/spell to combo then get run over by Shaman/Hunter with turn 1 - 2 -3 openings and die by turn 6? Yay! Now you can sit on double preps AND triple coins :D Turn 1 coin prep coin prep coin concede Rogue inc.
As a rogue player, I'd much rather keep Tomb Pillager in standard (a good body + a coin in 1 value card) than waste a card slot on a plain old coin. Just saying...
ANYONE REMEMBER SHADOW MADNESS BREW MASTER COMBO? NOW THERE'S POTION OF MADNESS BREW MASTER. ALSO RIP ANY OPPONENT RAGS, TIRIONS, AND ANY OTHER MINION WITH 8 OF LESS ATTACK B/C NOW DOUBLE PINT SIZED POTION, POTION OF MADNESS AND BREW MASTER. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM THIS EXPANSION THE BREW MASTER IS BREWING UP SOME POTIONS
Pint-Size Potion + Cabal Shadow Priest = 7 mana steal a 5 attack minion (also gives Priest insane early game trades and a way to deal with 4 attack minions).
Going off the idea that when this expansion comes out and nothing rotates out, here is some guesses of what I think may pop up that will be interesting besides the more obvious stuff like the dramatic increase in Priest decks or decks that are already in play. -Kun the forgotten king will combo with with Aviana. 10 mana> Aviana> Kun> play massive board of minions> "brewmaster> kun to hand> repeat. Probably more fun the competitive but Deathwing help us if that goes off. -Piranha launcher might add that extra combo potential to bring back Starving Buzzard. 5 mana> PL> 6 mana> SB> draw+ 1/1 minion> potential 1 drop + draw. -Small time recruits will open the do for some crazy paladin combo deck. -Patches the Pirate, depending on the order in which the summon happens, will make bloodsail cultist an auto weapon booster.
Rogue: Maybe a combo. 1. Play a Pirate to summon Patches the Pirate 2. Gang up on Patches the Pirate 3. Play a pirate to summon the rest of Patches 4. Play Skycap´n Kragg.
עדן רביצקי sounds interesting and I don't want to break your bubble but that almost will never happen since running so many high end cards along with avianna is waay too slow and easily countered ..
2 mana clear. But that hits your own board as well. Magic's combo will clear everything with 5 attack or less from your opponent. It's a very different story.
About Kazakus: From what I've heard, that's not an exhaustive list of the spells. It's actually selecting from a larger pool (of nine, if I remember correctly).
I'm not sold on the Dragonfire Potion. Most of the really good cards you would establish yourself with Dragon Priest: Blackwing Technician, Blackwing Corruptor, Wyrmrest Agent, Netherspite Historian (not really that important) ALL of these cards are destroyed by the Dragonfire potion when it's played. Now in late game, if all you're doing is dropping legendary dragons, COULD gain some advantage, BUT by then most of the opponents cards are still going to be over 5hp, forcing trades anyway. I'm just not sure how good it could be without really SEEING it in action.
Gakusangi well you likely wouldn't play it if you are winning on the board, because that would allow you to trade anything. The thing is, at this point in time (in standard) priest doesnt really have ways of coming from behind ( there is auchenai + circle but its harder to get 2 cards for a good board clear than just one). Think of it as a better flamestrike in constructed (more damage, less cost) and if you have an actual dragon on board, and your enemy doesnt, which is fairly likely, you are back ahead of the board most of the time.
While I don't think it's as good as Lightbomb, this card will make it into every priest deck. It shuts down almost anything shaman or rogue puts on the board, and severely impacts everybody else. Along with all the stuff to shut down the early game, priests will end up slowing the meta down, which is great.
Even in the absolute worst case scenario where all your minions are vulnerable to it it's still basically a 6 mana Twisting Nether (Yes, >5 health minions survive it, but it's not likely there'll be too many of those in the meta, and you can always trade before potioning), which is playable. The problem with Twisting Nether is you can't really follow it up with any threats, so the opponent takes Tempo anyway. With Dragonfire you can play a Twilight Guardian or something behind it. I don't think it's as good as Kripp makes it out to be, but it's definitely playable.
As an avid Priest player, I'm sad Priest looks like it is getting the overboard Shaman treatment. I like things competitive and viable, not 4 mana 7/7s and 0 mana 5/5s level of broken.
With Pint Size Potion and Cabal you can steal a 5 atack minion forever...its more insane than the combo we had with shrinkmaster and costs one mana less + you can trade all your minions with insane value because enemy minions will most likely have very little to no atack this turn - i think the card is nuts :D
Something people are forgetting about Dragonfire Potion: -Dragon Paladin and Dragon Warrior are better than Dragon Priest (currently) -Azure Drake is an auto-include in a good 1/2 of deck archetypes -If/When it becomes too common, other players will just go for Dragon and/or Spell decks, making it dead in hand -Is an epic, so even with occurrence bonus you'll almost never see it in arena (though it nearly guarantees at least one extra win/run by itself in any arena priest)
why is everything epic... even though i have 1200 gold and 1100 dust saved already as a f2p its gonna be hard to get a decent amount of the cards i want for decks. I just have to pray to get lucky on the legendaries...
Druid Combo with Forgotten King: Turn 10 Aviana into King "Refresh Mana your crystals" into Malygos, double Faceless Manipulator. 2 Living Roots + 2 Moonfire 66 Damage Game 9/10 Cards 10-9(A)-1(FK)=0+10(Refresh)=10-1(M)-2(F2)=7-2(LR2)-0(M2)=5 Mana Crystals
D35troy3r199 If I know correctly, this expansion comes out this year... which means that tgt will not yet rotate... so you will get to experience the combo for at least a few months...
That could happen if you are playing against warrior only.. so 10% chance.. and then the warrior has to have the card and have it in hand.. i d say its a pretty low negative..
Okay, Twisting Nether or Doom in Reno Warlock, Sap or Assassination in Rogue, Elemental Destruction in Shaman, etc, etc. Many classes have a way to deal with this and I really doubt this Aviana-Kun combo will see play because Aviana is not a competitive constructed card in any way.
Виталий Березовский you clearly do not get it, the forgotten king gives you ten mana, aviana makes every minion cost 1... hand full of charge and you have miracle druid
It sucks, and this expansion is like "let's fix the horrible meta and mistakes we made by including super fucking powerful and low cost cards" that will only bring more problems in the future (just like when they tried to fix shaman with the 4 mana 7/7)
Why? This expansion seems to fix a ton of the agro problems. We get zombie chow v2, a 4/5 taunt for 3 vs aggro, decent healing cards, cards that reward getting to 10 mana and so on. Thematicly Hearthstone was always silly.
i think krip forgets the "1/1 summon a 6/6" allows you tp play it into a mirror entinity, a "reduce minions health to 1" and a snipe, without the 6/6 being affected
Kiomaye All of those are for different classes. Different classes have different uses for different cards, they can't always be held to the same standard.
Tigran Hakobyan I do get that and take it into account. I still think counterfeit coin is pretty crappy to be taking up a whole card slot but I get they can't give rogue an innervate as it might be OP. I don't get why they are giving a class with already insane token synergies a better competitive spirit though. My point in general is I just find power-creep cards like Maelstrom portal uncreative, hopefully there's not many more in the cards to come.
Please please please please please please please stop saying "strictly better" if you don't actually have any idea what those words mean, it doesn't make you sound more intelligent.
The Message's Movies I'm not saying it to try to sound more intelligent, I'm saying it to get my point across that they are practically better in every way as stand alone cards. You should be able to know that's what I meant since it's pretty obvious that's what I was trying to say. If 'strictly better' is supposed to be used when describing cards in context with their outside class-specific synergies, then you have my sincere apology for using your precious term so incorrectly and insulting you on such a personal level for doing so. You seem very affected by this. Here, have a cookie.
Kripp being dissapointed about a control meta never coming to fruition is hilarious. Any compilations on this already? Include that last 20 seconds from this one for sure!
Blizzard just continues to prove they have no clue how to balance a card game. They are far too reactionary, instead of trying to think ahead they just go off of what players discover is ridiculous and then wonder why people complain.
I love priest and am super excited they are getting some treatment, but I am super stoked to try turn 10, Aviana, into Kun, into Nourish draw cards into more minions. Optimistic, but I can't wait to see some highlight clips from Trolden of people filling the boards with big legendaries off a combo like that.
It's basically 10 mana , 15/15 across three bodies , Draw 2 cards. Assuming you play 2x Azure Drake on the same turn. Or you could go off with Auctioneer and have a 7/7 on board too. Or gain two 4/6 Taunts with your 7/7 with 2x Druid of the Claw. It's super good, basically.
As for Priest, I imagine that no-one will play Shadow Madness over Potion of Madness anymore, thus i want to change Shadow Madness so that it takes control of the enemy minion forever. Also Potion of Madness, Shadow Madness, Kabal Shadow Priest and Shadow Word: Horror is gonna work wonders with the Pint-sized potion
people still complain about priest when it literally won games in a tournament and now they're getting even better cards. fuck you hearthstone community. now we have tempo dragon priest WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. 5 MANA 5/6 DRAW A CARD :0000000 SO EXCITING.
Fel Orc Soulfiend is a non-official Priest card. It's an extremely sticky 3 drop if you use a silence.. and I think that's Blizzard's gift to Priest for the early game. I think it's fantastic for Priests.
Pilfered power works well with a teachers (You have a teacher, you cast that spell, you get an 1/1 body and then Pilfered power resolves. And it can be better, if you have coins/innervates. And it doesnt break your game plan). So may be it will be ok in toked druid.
Big-time Racketeer seems like a great secret counter. Mirror image, snipe, you can have the 1/1 attack into freezing trap, heroic sacrifice if it survives.....
You're a bit wrong with Kazakus, those 6 effects aren't all options. There are either 8 or 9 effects for each mana slot, or 6 first effects and 6 second effects for each mana slot. These numbers are based on the statement by Blizzard that there are over 100 possible different spells. Lower amount -> less than 100 spells, more -> over 150 or 200, so they would say 150+ or 200+ to build up maximum hype.
Kripp please try this paladin deck in tavern brawl: I know it has some wicknesses but I really enjoy playing with it. List of cards: - Humility - Crazed Alchemist - Aldor Peacekeeper - Blood Knight - Brann Bronzebeard - Steward of Darkshire - Consecration - Stand Against Darkness - Emperor Thaurissan - Guardian Of Kings The strategy is to use Emperor effect, reducing the cost of Blood Knight, Steward of Darkshire and Stand Against Darkness (at least 1 of 3), making a charge 18/18 Blood Knight that end the game. Crazed Alchemist, Humility and Aldor Peacekeeper are used to kill big minion and to control the board with Guardian of Kings. Brann Bronzebeard isn't necessary in every game but can help in restoring health and also in Blood Knight combo (it becomes a 27/27). PS: the combo isn't so easy because after Steward of Darkshire's effect is applied it has to be destroyed, leaving space to Blood Knight. I made several games and I think it is a fun deck to play. Please try it a and tell me if you like it. I haven't seen anyone use this particular deck so far. A salute.
Rogue vs Druid: Turn 1: Druid plays two 1/1 from Living Roots, Rogue does Backstab Backstab Coin Counterfeit Coin Counterfeit Coin 12/12 Cleef, the dream
Turn 10 Aviana into 1 mana 7/7 refill 10 mana crystals.
Oh yeah.
you're thinking too small... turn 5 double innervate, coin into this combo =D
after that combo your hand would be empty, so you woundn't have anything left to Aviana out :D
oh yeeah wtf.
Note that it will refill your mana crystals, not give you 10. Making it a -4 mana 7/7 PogChamp #suckitshaman
we will only be able to play aviana in wild from december and on. since she is from the Grand tournament, wich will leave standard

the fact that you used 'three' instead of '3' disturbs me more than it should

cant wait to start the game with prep prep coin coin coin as a starting hand hehe
and draw edwin

Eater of secrets?
turn 1 16/16, seems fair
Priests were crap, so they made Priests broken.
Like a Shaman before LoE...
More like before TGT (totem golem + thunderbuff + Tuskarr)
Daniel Forrest Actually all starts from tunnel trog
Blizzards way of balancing in a nutshell
but all cards anounced for priest dont even seem OP, (except for the boardclear)

Malfurion is building a big ramp. Pretty soon he's gonna start doing wicked jumps off of it with his motorcycle.
underrated comment
You just wait. You just wait.
Tmos P 11/10, *****, A+, well done.
I play too much Druid, so yeah. This will be fucking awesome since I'm literally just playing C'Thun decks with Aviana.
We stopped going up ramps now where gonna go up in elevators. Probably druid gonna be on 7 mana by turn 3
0 mana 7/7 is the new 4 mana 7/7
Jeremy Stein but that 0 mana 7/7 it worse than arcane giant since it has to be played on 10 mana but aviana kun combo seems preeeeeety good
Fandral Innervate Innervate Kun could lead to some interesting plays
One does not simply remain calm when Blizzard announces a Hearthstone expansion.
decent kripperino idea, but i think you might wanna spice it up with some other Boromir quotes

Kripp's impression on the new cards:
Druid:
Kun the Forgotten King (0 mana 7/7): too slow to play or game-breaking.
Lunar Vision: pretty interesting, cost a bit high.
Pilfered Power: seems powerful, doesn't fit current Druid deck.
Mark of the Lotus: good to exist, but, meh.
Hunter:
Piranha Launcher: cool card, not so compatible with Hunter though.
Mage:
Manic Soulcaster: Powerful 3-drop, good for fatigue deck.
Paladin:
Wickerflame Burnbristle: good card, too weak against Priest.
Small-Time Recruits: extremely powerful. Creating super insane top-decks, especially for Secret Paladin, not compatible with Divine Favor.
Meanstreet Marshal: Decent with buff.
Getaway Kodo: not so good.
Priest (gonna overlord in the future!):
Dragonfire Potion: INSANITY! Wow, NUTS!
Dragonoid Operative: Absolutely insane.
Pint-Size Potion: probably amazing or useless. To be decided.
Kabal Talonpriest: Really good. A future problem in Arena.
Potion of Madness: Really good. Potentially push decks requiring 2-Attacks out of the Meta.
Rogue:
Lotus Assassin: Preeeety good.
Counterfeit Coin: A huge help for Miracle Rogue.
Warrior:
I Know A Guy: A fair card for Control Warrior.
Neutral:
Lotus Agent/ Grimestreet Informant/Kabal Courier: Fair cards.
Kazakus: Pretty insane.
Finja, the Flying Star: cool ability. Great with Murloc Knight.
Mistress of Mixtures: Interesting. A little weaker than Zombie Chow. Solid 1-drop though.
Patches the Pirate: It's alright. Extra push for early start of the game.
Wind-up Burglebot: Probably not be able to draw the second card.
Fel Orc Soulfiend: Nice stats. A bit clanky. Potentially powerful.
Big-Time Racketeer: It's OK.
Second-Rate Bruiser: Reasonable, nice card.
Kooky Chemist: Worse than Crazed Chemist, will be seen a lot in Arena.
Friendly Bartender: Not too bad, but not powerful in constructive.
Overall: Priest got the most powerful cards so far.
YOU'RE WELCOME.
I appreciate him working to put out content even from his hotel room.
Patches is basically a free Boar with any Pirate. My question about Patches is, if I Gang Up Patches and play a Pirate, do I get 3 Patches? That would be a pretty crazy combo.
Yep, you get all the copies in your deck for free.

Pint sized potion and shadow word horror. 5 mana, destroy all enemy minions with 5 or less attack and all allied minions with 2 or less attack.
MrShukaku1991 balanced !
Pint sized potion and confuse = kill all enemy minions with 3 or less attack for only 3 mana (permanently weaken the rest).

MrShukaku1991 That needs 2 cards so not too consistent..
Now on these cards:
I think the boardclear is insane, but it's not as insane as Lightbomb was especially for our minions, well obviously it's better for a Dragon Priest deck.
I think eventually Blizzard is gonna nerf the boardclear, but that's all, maybe some for Arena reasons but I'm not really good at Arena so I don't care
Lastly, people see Priests now as Shamans were back then and mostly now too.
Mihály Hanics Lul I thought there was gonna be some stupid shit joke about priest but no
your class will be good until the rotation then back to the dumpest
No one bats an eye when Priest lose their lightbomb(the only good "absolute" board clear for priest that's at a reasonable cost) and dark cultist( basically the only early minion priest can play without guilt, unlike shrink meister and pyromancer), now they gets replacement for both and a good dragon to keep dragon priest alive, everyone screams op...
i didnt expect a real opinion
Priest can have a massive board clear but Graves can't have his cig...oh..wrong game.
Noob Saibot they actually technically got another one with that one mana spell since you can combo it with shadow word horror ..
Noob Saibot xd
Noob Saibot rip graves no cigar
You don't get it, tobacco is bad it kills people. As opposed to huge ass shotguns.
Pant-Size Potion + Shadow Word: Horror? Anyone?
Rankhole pants???
Rankhole Or pint size+confuse
Rankhole or pants-size + madness
no.SW H will not get into meta.you can be sure
Who cares about meta, it's fun xD
No one played shaman until blizzard made them super overpowered. nobody plays priest until mean streets of gasgetzan makes them super stupid overpowered. nice job balancing blizzard.
Nate Hicks plenty of people play priest, u just rarely see em cuz theyre in either lower ranks or super high legend where cancer isn't everywhere. although I agree with u that blizzard sucks at balancing.
Nate Hicks jeez you dont even know their effect on the future gameplay chill down..
Jack Houghton I was mainly referring to potion of madness when I said meta defining.
"We need to boost priest!"
"What is the one half-ass ok priest deck?"
"Dragons! Let's boost it to 11!"
"Done, let's throw in some other OP shit for good measure!"
Yep. Priest is the gayest fucking class. People just had to whine about it, now the games broken.
this expansion looks really good tbh much better then WOTOG
Elliot Mitchell I agree, and WOTOG was a pretty solid expansion
Benny B yeah thats a good point warlock haven't really had any good legendaries, malganus and jarraxus are both meh
Elliot Mitchell WoTOG is the worst expansion.Whatever positive option you have 4 mana 7/7 erases it.
WOTOG was really really good...
jaraxxus
meh
you must be new here
Pint-Size Potion + Lightbomb OP

Priest is slowing turning into the best class
a sentence you never expected you'd sever say :D
Badongos it never had the spotlight to be the best so.... it's alrighty?
Badongos "Slowly"? What's slow about it?
Priest is very quickly being forced into being the best class*
"Slowly"
As a rogue player. FUCK YES COUNTERFEIT COIN!!!
TheOnlyRoggol hell yeah...im so hyped!!
Funny how Rogue got a shittier Innervate and everyone be like "FUCK YEAH, ROGUES!"
Because it works with rogues.
Think about the class design.
Jon Belmont Yeah, like when you sit on double preps and no Auctioneer/spell to combo then get run over by Shaman/Hunter with turn 1 - 2 -3 openings and die by turn 6? Yay! Now you can sit on double preps AND triple coins :D
Turn 1 coin prep coin prep coin concede Rogue inc.
Wayne Scott LOUD NOISES
ok. thats some serious sinergy.
Wayne Scott those are some pretty great ideas :D
4 cards to steal one minion is a great idea? why wouldn't you just play mind control at that point?
cuz this combo is half the cost of mind control...
Pint-Size Potion + Cabal Shadow Priest = 7 mana steal a 5 attack minion (also gives Priest insane early game trades and a way to deal with 4 attack minions).
We're only 31 cards into this expansion and already it's better than Karazhan. Here's hoping the rest of the cards can keep with this quality.
-Patches the Pirate, depending on the order in which the summon happens, will make bloodsail cultist an auto weapon booster.
quack
One does not simply use onomatopoeia.
Boromirino Kripperino hahahah
Duckerino Kripperino ma boi e.e
Krillin?
here comes dat boooiii!
play 'ship's cannon' then play 'shwashburglar' it plays 'patches the pirate' gang up patches the pirate and play another one drop pirate.
*Wild Deck*
so play a captain for 2:2 chargers on top of the canons hits !
None of these cards can make your minions immune...
pint-sized can
This is Kripp how I like him the most! Chilled, kind, and eloquent af.
I like the fact that wind up burgle bot is epic, hey 100 dust is better than 20...
18:10 if he just knew...
I like that thumbnail and I demand Talan as a legendary
Rogue: Maybe a combo.
1. Play a Pirate to summon Patches the Pirate
2. Gang up on Patches the Pirate
3. Play a pirate to summon the rest of Patches
4. Play Skycap´n Kragg.
Are you ready for wild Druid to be the most broken class of all time?
Turn 10: Aviana into 0 mana 7/7 into 8 1 cost minions of your choice....
that requires you to have ten cards in your hand and live to turn ten. druid aint a control deck, and ramp cards mean you lose card.
עדן רביצקי sounds interesting and I don't want to break your bubble but that almost will never happen since running so many high end cards along with avianna is waay too slow and easily countered ..
tornament is going to wild so...
10, not 8, so even better.
Aviana makes your minions cost 1
@8:55 combo Pint-sized Potion with Shadow Word: Pain to take out 4-attack minions and attack some other ones at the same time.
pint sized potion + shadow word horror?
embrace the shadow + circle heal is 3 mana clear
it comes to my mind too!_!
2 mana clear.
But that hits your own board as well. Magic's combo will clear everything with 5 attack or less from your opponent. It's a very different story.
PSP and SWH won't kill your board though.
You are a priest. What board?
The end part is why I watch Kripp. So cute haha
Aviana, King of the Forgotton.
You better be doing this deck on day one, Krippo!
Kripps head is so big the sun has never touched his neck
when kripp hasn't uploaded a video in 53 minutes
riperoni in kripperoni
What am I doing with my life lol
Haha I love looking back at this and seeing his description of patches "I think it's a fun card" "I don't think it'll change any deck" XD
fel orc soulfiend+silence+inner fire=4 mana 7/7
Yeah, but it costs you Three cards lol
thats the spirit sham.. oh sorry priest
yeah but it doesn't overload ;^3
That's why you should play Purify, among many, many reasons.
Or just soulfiend + divine spirit and then laugh your ass of.
6 mana clear the board and take control against a zoo/midrange/aggro deck with a dragon on board.
Seems good to me.
Gakusangi you dont even have to play the dragon archetype, you get a stronger flamestrike one turn early, similar to hellfire.
"I know a guy"
His name is Tirion
DisguisedNinjas u cant discover other class' cards
Rank 25 ninjas FailFish
His name is soggoth.
With Pint Size Potion and Cabal you can steal a 5 atack minion forever...its more insane than the combo we had with shrinkmaster and costs one mana less + you can trade all your minions with insane value because enemy minions will most likely have very little to no atack this turn - i think the card is nuts :D
pint-sized potion and shadow word horror???
Rags_2_Bitches if the meta has a lot of people running minnions with 3 or less attack (zoo-like decks) just play it with confuse. Insta board wipe
pint sized + cabal and steal their silvanus.
or pint sized potion and confuse, basically crazed alchemist all your opponents minions.
***** they're also getting a 6 mana flamestrike+1 so I'm sure they'll be fine
Zachary Perkins i thought it was a 6 mana doom! 😢
10:32 Sorry Kripp. The word we were looking for was "madness". But thanks for playing.
There should be special emotes for the goons, lotus and kabal ( e.g For the goons!)
When you play against one of the opposite gangs
Something people are forgetting about Dragonfire Potion:
-Dragon Paladin and Dragon Warrior are better than Dragon Priest (currently)
-Azure Drake is an auto-include in a good 1/2 of deck archetypes
-If/When it becomes too common, other players will just go for Dragon and/or Spell decks, making it dead in hand
-Is an epic, so even with occurrence bonus you'll almost never see it in arena (though it nearly guarantees at least one extra win/run by itself in any arena priest)
why is everything epic... even though i have 1200 gold and 1100 dust saved already as a f2p its gonna be hard to get a decent amount of the cards i want for decks. I just have to pray to get lucky on the legendaries...
Bob NotRealNameMan 132 cards man, these might just be all the epics.
Bob NotRealNameMan these aren't all the cards
Bob NotRealNameMan just keep saving I'm basically f2p and I'll have 10k gold by early December I'm currently at 9k
Wow a whole 1200 gold and 1100 dust :o
almost like they dont want it to be easy to get all the cards as a f2p player. Almost like they are a business that wants people to buy cards
Druid
Combo with Forgotten King:
Turn 10
Aviana into King "Refresh Mana your crystals" into Malygos, double Faceless Manipulator.
2 Living Roots + 2 Moonfire
66 Damage
Game
9/10 Cards
10-9(A)-1(FK)=0+10(Refresh)=10-1(M)-2(F2)=7-2(LR2)-0(M2)=5 Mana Crystals
kun is f*cking op busted with aviana... calling it right now!
In wild... no one gives a shit.
D35troy3r199 what are you even talking about?
D35troy3r199 If I know correctly, this expansion comes out this year... which means that tgt will not yet rotate... so you will get to experience the combo for at least a few months...
caramida9 this expansion comes out early decemeber. Next adventure will come out around April/May.
D35troy3r199 she's not there yet...
I got a text from my friend who went to blizz-con. "The dragon priests are coming"
I didn't get much sleep that night.
Avianna and Kun the forgotten king... nuf said.
And then you get brawled... GG.
Виталий Березовский because every class has brawl
9:20 "Pint Sized Potion + Shadow Word Horror equals MASSIVE BOARD CLEAR!!!
At this point, Hearthstone seems like such a parody of itself.
It sucks, and this expansion is like "let's fix the horrible meta and mistakes we made by including super fucking powerful and low cost cards" that will only bring more problems in the future (just like when they tried to fix shaman with the 4 mana 7/7)
I kinda have the hope that control decks become viable again. With these priest cards minion spamming face dmg might actually be dead.
Why? This expansion seems to fix a ton of the agro problems. We get zombie chow v2, a 4/5 taunt for 3 vs aggro, decent healing cards, cards that reward getting to 10 mana and so on.
Thematicly Hearthstone was always silly.
Until you test the cards don't prejudice them.
i definitely like the theme of this expansion. glad to see they're still doing neat stuff with the discover mechanic.
I'm sure noone would make the effort to count and highlight everytime kripp says "pretty good" in this video.
27
Potato
Someone give this man a medal!
i think krip forgets the "1/1 summon a 6/6" allows you tp play it into a mirror entinity, a "reduce minions health to 1" and a snipe, without the 6/6 being affected
Mark of the Lotus is just a strictly better Competitive Spirit and the Counterfeit Coin is just a strictly worse Innvervate. Seems fun.
Kiomaye All of those are for different classes. Different classes have different uses for different cards, they can't always be held to the same standard.
Tigran Hakobyan
I do get that and take it into account.
Counterfeit coin can be easily considered strictly _better_ than innervate because of a simple reason: rouge gets a lot of sinergy from 0 mana spells.
Please please please please please please please stop saying "strictly better" if you don't actually have any idea what those words mean, it doesn't make you sound more intelligent.
The Message's Movies
I'm not saying it to try to sound more intelligent, I'm saying it to get my point across that they are practically better in every way as stand alone cards.
I like your style of talking in this preview than in previous preview videos.
Patches the Pirate + Gang Up synergy Kappa
The 6 mana 1/1 that spawns an Ogre is a great combo with Evolve.
The shrinking potion is a great combo with Shadow Word Horror.
ZERO MANA 7/7?!? GG Blizzard, GG.
Trev6511 idk, on turn ten it won't stick for long... Unless you're running a buff deck then they better have some hard removal
Said HS noob.
First thing I noticed was the quality of your microphone!!??? it's really good kripp 5/7 perfect score
Kripperoni is off schedule
Actually Big-Time Racketeer is pretty sick with Brann
No chance for a control meta. Curvestone will always be superior.
TRIFLING GNOME!
YOUR ARROGANCE WILL BE YOUR UNDOING
Kripp being dissapointed about a control meta never coming to fruition is hilarious. Any compilations on this already? Include that last 20 seconds from this one for sure!
Blizzard just continues to prove they have no clue how to balance a card game. They are far too reactionary, instead of trying to think ahead they just go off of what players discover is ridiculous and then wonder why people complain.
The1AndOnlyGoldenboy Exactly
your audio is perfect, better than in your home.... love ya kripperino
Slow expansion=Best expansion
9:16 Pint-size potion with SW: Horror is just insane
0Mana 7/7, we just got out meme'd FeelsBadMan
I love priest and am super excited they are getting some treatment, but I am super stoked to try turn 10, Aviana, into Kun, into Nourish draw cards into more minions. Optimistic, but I can't wait to see some highlight clips from Trolden of people filling the boards with big legendaries off a combo like that.
You thought they learnt their lesson... you thought they will change... but than they release a 0 mana 7/7 ._.
עדן רביצקי at 10 mana
It's basically 10 mana , 15/15 across three bodies , Draw 2 cards. Assuming you play 2x Azure Drake on the same turn. Or you could go off with Auctioneer and have a 7/7 on board too. Or gain two 4/6 Taunts with your 7/7 with 2x Druid of the Claw. It's super good, basically.
Just imagine playing it with aviana tho...
Если вы здесь чтобы узнать где видео Криппа, то я не знаю, но подпишитесь на мой Твиттер: @RusKripp
4:40 yay they learnt their lesson and made it epic!^^
I know a guy
They call him the Slitherer
15:00 Powerful mojo: "Copy 3 cards from your opponent's deck and put them in you [sic] hand"
people still complain about priest when it literally won games in a tournament and now they're getting even better cards. fuck you hearthstone community. now we have tempo dragon priest WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. 5 MANA 5/6 DRAW A CARD :0000000 SO EXCITING.
kevin cork I'd rather have that than Rez Priest. 2 mana 4/7 is far more annoying.
kevin cork you dont understand how tournament and Ladder work right?
Fabian Mellberg tell me what do you think i don't understand
I dont know how they will make dragon priest work after brm basically all the dragons are gone
its high noon they give them new dragon synergy cards?
9:20 Wow.... that with "Shadow Word: Horror" and enemy minions that had 5 or less attack will die, op board clear against aggro
Secret paladin confirmed and does this expansion have too many epics?
Secret paladin will not come back cuz of the anti-synergy of get down guy and gateway kodo
Like most, you need to learn the difference between Expansion and Adventure.
Epics are more interesting to learn about because they have different effects. A lot of the commons have the same affects and people gloss over them.
Point is that epics are harder to acquire unless you buy 200 packs at time which I dont.
Mikołaj Malesiński that's why you cut noble sac.
Fel Orc Soulfiend is a non-official Priest card. It's an extremely sticky 3 drop if you use a silence.. and I think that's Blizzard's gift to Priest for the early game. I think it's fantastic for Priests.
Kripp is late :c
Pilfered power works well with a teachers (You have a teacher, you cast that spell, you get an 1/1 body and then Pilfered power resolves. And it can be better, if you have coins/innervates. And it doesnt break your game plan). So may be it will be ok in toked druid.
ribbit
i love audio quality in this video
List of cards:
- Humility
- Crazed Alchemist
- Aldor Peacekeeper
- Blood Knight
- Brann Bronzebeard
- Steward of Darkshire
- Consecration
- Stand Against Darkness
- Emperor Thaurissan
- Guardian Of Kings
The strategy is to use Emperor effect, reducing the cost of Blood Knight, Steward of Darkshire and Stand Against Darkness (at least 1 of 3), making a charge 18/18 Blood Knight that end the game.
20:47 R.I.P Moonglade Portal
1) Priest become overlords
2) Overall good cards, which is surprising
3) Hoping for control/combo meta.
