SEV TAMATAR KI SABJI
Preparation time 5 minutes
Cooking time 15-20 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients
2-3 tbsp Ghee, घी
1 tsp Mustard seeds, सरसों
4 large Tomato, roughly chopped, टमाटर
½ inch Ginger, chopped, अदरक
5-10 Curry leaves, कड़ी पत्ता
2 Green chilli, chopped, हरी मिर्च
¼ tsp Asafoetida, हींग
1 ½ tsp Degi red chilli powder, देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर
½ tsp Turmeric powder, हल्दी पाउडर
1 cup fresh Tomato, puree, टमाटर प्यूरी
1 tbsp Ghee, घी
¼ cup Water, पानी
Salt to taste, नमक स्वादानुसार
2-3 tbsp Jaggery, गुड़
For Garnish
Ratlami sev, रतलामी सेव
Process
In a kadai, add ghee onces it's hot, add mustard seeds let it splutter.
Add ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and saute well.
Add asafoetida, degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder and saute well.
Add chopped tomato and toss well.
Add tomato puree and mix everything well.
Cook for 10-15 minutes, add water, salt to taste, ghee, jaggery and mix it well.
Garnish it with ratlami sev and serve hot.
When nothing comes in mind this the perfect recipe for me😂

I am from Ratlam and i really loved the way you explained the story of Ratlami Sev
This video was like a teacher teaching to his students...but the teacher or prof isn't any sadharan teacher but one good well learned doctorate holder who provides all the information associated with the topic he is teaching and in due time focuses less on what he is supposed to teach ( that's very intrinsic to happen cause I have experienced it with learned ppl)

I'm a Rajasthani who loves to cook spicy food because I like my own cooked food the most, my cooking is definitely inspired by Western India's Spicy dishes. After making Sev Tamatar at least 50 times and experimenting with it, I would give a bit of a tip - Add 1 spoon of Tomato Sauce with Tomatoes(will give the dish a sweet but spicy taste) and a pinch of Maggi Masala with spices (will give the tangy flavor of Maggi masala and the mouth-watering aroma) and this will make it even more delicious, saying with experience.
I'm also from Rajasthan (jaipur) I also makes the same recipe as you mentioned but i use lil bit sugar in tomato pury instead of tomato sauce and also use maggie massala "what a coincidence"😀
I showed your videos to my family and they absolutely loved the way you talk and the joyful mood of yours while cooking is something that makes you different..

I didn't know this food exists until I saw this receipe. Out of curiosity i made it and boom... making it everytime I'm hungry. So goooooood and literally takes 2mins.to make. I even made some tomato puree stored it and the food is ready in minutes.thank u so much chef 😍🙇

Maine गुड़ की जगह शहद use kiya
And the whole taste was so yummy
Sabne चटकारे ले कर इस सब्जी को khaya
Kuch din पहले हमने ये सब्जी hotel से order की thi
And आज सबका yahi कहना था ki
घर की सब्जी के आगे वो कुछ भी नहीं hai

In Rajasthan, we don't add gud and the sev are mixed with the gravy in the pan only and cooked for a minute or so.
