Hooooly, the call-out against the chatter 31 mins in is truly peak NL behaviour. C2N Battle really does something to the man and I'm loving every minute of it, Jerry.
Bro I’ve been watching NL on and off since the original Isaac let’s play and I’ve never seen him so in his zone with a game. Dude is a legendary cinema enjoyer, I’ve seen most of these movies and couldn’t make half the connections
Accidentally clicked the Isaac video instead of this one... After years of watching everything else other than Isaac, I accidentally tainted my recommendatioms by clicking one. Now all the suggested videos on the side are old NL Isaac vids. Guess I'll have to give in and watch all 5000 or so episodes
I'd love to see a version of this where everything is a 1X and you can connect through any medium: TV, Music, Fine Arts, etc Of course, then you need a database of all pop culture :/
Okay I don't know the meta right now but there's a safe Ryan Reynold strat to add to Buried: Paper Man (2009). Afaik it's very obscure, so good chance to burn at least a cast, but it's very easy to get out of in case of a skip. (also it's been a while so maybe I'm wrong, but I'd say good movie)
I've heard good things about The Florida Project line. I like to go Shadow of the Vampire, they burn a cast to go Being John Malcovich or pass it back and we go Boondock Saints. Pray they don't know Boondock Saints 2
Steve Buscemi into a Paris Je T'aime seems pretty strong, but that is literally the extent of my "oh did you know ___ was in ___" movie knowledge haha.
Whenever NL talks about Mystery Men I'm like no no no you don't understand where I'm taking you if I get access to Tom Waits, your ass probably knows, but it won't be an easy out
Tom Waits has both the Jarmusch zone (ghost dog leading to phone booth), Licorice Pizza which is obvious, as well as the biggest deepcut i can think of, Wristcutters which has Will Arnett.
@@jockohomosexual Wristcutters is a good pull, whenever I think about that movie I just remember vague concepts of Elijah Wood and that one russian folk punk song
@@IsaacandjedI still reference that movie all the time. Whenever someone drops something in my car, I tell them that they're never getting it back because there's a black hole under that seat lol
Zlatko Buric could have gotten you out of "Triangle of Sadness". Not sure what that movie is, but he is in all of the Pusher movies w/ Mads Mikkelsen as well as the movie 2012.
You can’t just stare a problem without a solution, what do they go instead, that also has a reasonable out, also if no one knows about Fleming then it’s viable right?
It's been eye-opening how many people can't name other Bond films after a Goldeneye. Anyway you can always hit them with a Darby Fill and the Legend of the Little People
@noahleach7690 maybe they don't know you can link by author, I admit it's hard to pull a great Brosnan killshot out of thin air. I like Johnny English, maybe they go Mr. Bean, you go to the Blackadder movie and if skipped I go Rat Race
I play this the exact same way as you, and I have a pretty deep knowledge of movies in a few different areas than you. (Except Zahn. I know all those kill shots.) Honestly feel 65% confident I could beat you at least once. Or lose immediately. One of those.
As much as I agree, our eggs commentary is more than enough. I fear our desire for bg music is rooted in dwindling attention spans and need for stimuli
The opponent typing “What?” after NL played Birdbox Barcelona and hit it is hilarious to me
Hooooly, the call-out against the chatter 31 mins in is truly peak NL behaviour. C2N Battle really does something to the man and I'm loving every minute of it, Jerry.
Indeed. Can someone like my comment so I can remember to come back and watch that again later
Definitely NL behavior to call out specific chatters and berate them in front of an audience of thousands. He looooves that abuse of authority
We love our abuse of authority, don't we chat!
@@pook49found the chatter

I love that people will communicate through wrong movie titles. The “what?” Killed me
“Just a bunch of old guys wearing hats, telling each other secrets” made me piss myself laughing
Definitely felt like Rhino was googling. Every "tough" movie he took 15-20 sec
NL is doing the Cine2Nerdle slugfest while Luna is doing the number one, number two 50/50 mix up in the background. This year’s EVO is crazy.
He's got his routes on lock, his setplay is airtight. He'll hit confirm into corner carry from anywhere on the stage
"Kristen Wiig was blocked my baaAAAAÆNNN" has to be a peak reaction moment to NL stunting on an opponent haha he's so satisfied 😂
I have become so addicted to this game thanks to these videos

Bro I don’t know any of these people
@@justremakeit it completely fries my brain, I feel like I took the most taxing college final.
I think a meta strat could be blindly guessing movies from around the same year whenever you get an ensemble cast movie you haven't seen
+/- a year also goes pretty hard
Thats my new tech. I’m surprised how often it hits. Hollywood seems very exclusive.
Probably +/- 2 years no? Since the actors are busy on the first movie +/- 1 year
This totally works. Great solution for comedy films from the NL era, since many of them I haven't seen but they all have the same 3 people
Doesn't this mean you give them a free second x (get to the ensemble + your guess)
Bro I’ve been watching NL on and off since the original Isaac let’s play and I’ve never seen him so in his zone with a game. Dude is a legendary cinema enjoyer, I’ve seen most of these movies and couldn’t make half the connections
its even crazier when he says he hasnt even seen the movie but still knows the cast
Hahaha thats me in the first game! Was so happy to get the 3rd Woody Harrelson and flex my Ruben Ostlund tech
Brain freezing his opponent into trying to think of another Ke Huy Quan movie besides EEAAO and Temple of Doom was quite a way to win a match
the goonies every time bro
i noticed the maximum time you can have is 20 seconds so you should always use your +15 seconds when you have 5 seconds or lower left
The timer respects >20secs, it just holds at 20 secs
@@10jonapiit mentions specifically in the how to play that it maxes at 20 seconds and to use it when you have less time
@@10jonapiit doesnt hold, use +15 right at the beginning, you wont get 35s

Michael York (aka Basil Exposition from Austin Powers) was in Romeo and Juliet (1968). That's 100% in NL's wheelhouse.

Can’t WAIT to see him play yesterday’s daily, which had Planet of the Apes (1968) as a potential starter.
That was a fun day. Covered such a wide variety of opening paths
I haven't heard the "real voice" bit in a while. So good honestly
New tech: Wolf of Wall Street to How to Ruin the Holidays (2023) - the Zebrowski connection
This has the destinct glory of being the first game I've watched that made my girlfriend cave and play it simply from watching a few episodes.
Apparently Romeo & Juliet 1968 has Michael York, who also played Basil in Austin Powers. That's the only thing I know him for though, lol.
He’s insane at this game
I was playing this game and I got someone stranded in the Durstverse with The Fanatic, they skipped, and I hit em with Population 436
Incredible how it only takes 30 minutes before he changes the name of Robin Williams’ movie
I binged all these cine2nerdle videos and it really peeves me NL can't remember Django Unchained for Jamie Foxx 😂

There are two Tom Waits outs that I can think of and they're both pretty interesting. Big casts for both.
