Definitely a lot of fun. Amazing to see what everyone comes up with and incredible how much that can be squeezed into about 30 seconds. Such a great community and really enjoy reading all the encouragement as well.
To Anthony - thank you so much for doing these, it means so much to your Couch Potato's and really nice to hear how good it made you feel listening to us all play. I nearly cut the video before my fist bump, but it had taken me quite a few takes and decided to leave it in (glad I did). It's a special little corner of the internet, so thank you once again Anthony, you're an inspiration, I don't know if I would have ever started posting my playing without these. See you in #12.

Thanks Anthony, I must say having a 'Marty Friedman' reference on my entry is encouraging... Even if it's a bit like putting lipstick on a pig, LOL 🐷
I do appreciate you Anthony and all of the couch potato jammers.
I all so must admit there is an upset/sad vibe I'm picking up from you in the end of this video. I hope you are doing better now. 🤔
I have mentioned to you before, which you replied... But after the very early in their life death of both my parents to cancer, the only time since I have put any effort into my guitaring is for the couch jams.
Sadness is a heavy burden in life, but it can manifest some amazing blues/feeling in ones guitar playing.
To cut my ramblings short, thank you sir, your channel has helped me through some very tough times.

Very sorry to hear that mate. My dad had a pretty bad stroke just before Christmas so it's been a hard time for us as well. But you're right, playing guitar is such a good hobby for venting your emotions.

Sorry for your loss mate. Ah, the wheel of life. Lost my uncle last week, his funeral is tomorrow.
But you're right in what you say how music transports emotions. What's interesting about these jams is how they're interpreted in different ways. Sure we all have different skill levels and influences, but how everyone takes something like this comes up with their own original parts is wonderful.

@@GarryParker Hey thanks Garry, I think if the humanity was more like the couch potato gang, the world would be a better place. I wish your dad well on his recovery, thanks Garry for the kind word.

@@pyratoothNL I read an article about Jimmy Page, and how he admitted he could be quite sloppy with his guitar playing when playing live. But he summed it up by explaining that he would rather play loose and sloppy,
but put his entire soul and emotion into his performance, rather than play perfectly without any feeling.
That always stuck with me, feeling first before ability.
But when a guitarist can play from the soul, but all so include impressive technique, that is a gift that comes from the universe.
I'm sorry about your uncle friend.

Thank you so much!! It's a pleasure taking part every time! I was blown away by some of the new and familiar faces who took part. This has to be the best so far, in my opinion. ❤ I have much love and respect for the rest of you spud and the master couch potato himself for taking the time to think of and do something this creative and socially interactive. Thank you for making all fo us feel good for being able to share the music and be able to have a community to share it with ✌️😁❤️

That was great. Being in the key of F made it interesting. I could do this every month!

Great playing by everybody. I think our collective playing has improved and the Couch Potato Jams really maybe get us to do that little bit extra practice.
