The Gold Line is a major light rail mass transit train in Los Angeles County, Southern California; owned and operated by Metro Los Angeles (Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority). This new extension added 11.5 miles, and 6 stations to the railway, making it the longest light railway line in North America; 31 miles / 50 kilometers long! That's not all, Metro LA is continuing to expand the Gold Line East, with another 12.3 mile extension currently underway to Claremont, and Montclair, CA.
