    this channel has become a slave to the algorithm

    • @AverageHomeBoy
      @AverageHomeBoy Год назад +2

      I think that, too. Clickbait thumbnails are invading every aspect of RUclips. :/
      I stopped watching Will P. once his channel took a 180 basically over night.
      I understand wanting to be successful and rewarded for your hard work and content, so I can't fault them no matter how much I am disappointed. I moreso personally blame how RUclips bottlenecks people into conforming to a certain way of marketing. Algorithms are ruining a lot of good things.

    • @shonthelawn
      @shonthelawn Год назад +1

      @@AverageHomeBoy Agree with everything you said. I don't blame them either. Gotta get that money. It's just too bad that these channels that were once insightful & helpful are now just commercials, quick-tips, fixes, and freebies. At this point, Satori is just regurgitating the same information over & over in a different format. Same with Will P. Their videos feel overly professional, in a lame, corporate type of way.

    • @AverageHomeBoy
      @AverageHomeBoy Год назад +1

      @@shonthelawn YES! Your last sentences about regurgitating info and "too professional" is exactly how I feel about them! I miss when it just seemed like some dude who was excited to share findings. Not everything is a "hack" even though they call everything a hack. Like "5 Design Hacks You Should Know RIGHT THIS SECOND OR YOU'LL DIE" and the video is like "Hack 1). Open Illustrator, Hack 2) The pen tool has curve handles, etc."
      Also, in regards to the video, some of the examples are really weak. The Nike shoes in the geometric shapes is a bad design IMO and using "Shoes have curves, shapes are geometric" as the talking point made me scratch my head.
      Rambling at this point, it's just nice to see other people noticing the quality of the information on a lot of design pages is lackluster and the algorithm is ruining modern life.

      'drink' is another way of saying alcohol, alongside 'booze' and 'sauce'

    Thank you for sharing your design process, it was helpful. However, I would like to give some feedback.
    In my opinion, the final design could better convey the intended message about driving and drinking. On the first glance, it is not immediately clear that the message is related to this topic. Additionally, the neutral white background doesn't elicit any emotional response from the viewer. The red strip on the sculpture's eyeball is the focal point of the design, but it can be interpreted in various ways and may not necessarily be associated with driving and drinking. Furthermore, in your design process, you mentioned wanting to create a design that is shocking. For me the final illustration isn’t really shocking. But the overall design because of its cleanness and simple look it’s nice!
