This guy has great taste and clearly a lot of experience in yachting. So many good ideas he and the designers have created that most people would have never thought of. Definition of a perfect yacht.
Mostly he has shitloads of money and, hey good for him.
@@andrisbig7710 having a lot of money doesn't give someone experience in boating or good taste.
What an absolute stunner and the rising chairs had me laughing out loud in admiration, brilliant stuff. 🇬🇧👍❤️
It's a beautiful boat, but having worked with many brands from Italy, America, and England there's no way in hell I'd build an opening roof like that. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has had problems. Just put in a fixed skylight and ditch the too-slow, too-wobbly, expensive and trouble-prone opening roof and helm chairs. Probably save $50K right there and a nightmare of future leaks and trouble. Of course, that's the true beauty of custom built - you can have it however you want. His boat, his choice.
Jaja lol if it fails you stay suspended in the air
This the perfection in a boat’s walkthrough: an owner talking with passion and humor abt his boat. Wonderful yacht!
This guy is more cogent and coherent than most of the presenters of those boat channels. Just two minutes into this video I knew that he's a winner in his own life.
That is a stunning boat! His wife nailed the interior, absolutely beautiful. His James bond seat is the icing on the cake
What an absolutely beautiful boat with a captain who truly knows what he wants, well done sir 😀
Couldn't have put it better myself!
It’s such a beautiful boat. And what a lovely man with great sense of humour. Wish him the very very best. Loved it.
Probably the best video on your channel ever. To hear the build from his perspective was simply incredible. Someone you could happily have a pint with and listen to his tales. Beautiful yacht and truly inspirational man.
Thanks for the kind comment, I’ll pass on your thoughts to the owner.
Tall call mate, the MB&Y tour of the Spirit P70 was a thing of beauty. But I agree this one is stunning too.
@@darthkek1953 Don't disagree with your view on the Spirit and a few others besides, but this is different in the sense that you see behind the sexy drone shots and actually meet the man who commissioned this beautiful vessel. His matter of factness (?) about design and engineering choices, coupled with the boyish glint in his eye and what would I class as a Wallace and Grommet approach to helm design, made this video something unique and utterly enthralling. This isn't purely about the boat, it's about the story it told. If it was 2 hours long, I would still feel "short changed".
For the record, I'd have an Oyster 565, not to partake in regattas, but to bugger off down to the Southern Ocean and everywhere in between. Doesn't stop me from enjoying the amazing vessels I lust after on this channel mind 😊
OMG 😲 Grandson of the famous Healey sports car. Beautiful lines, excellent interior design. The helm seat is way beyond amazing. Very cool video thanks 😊
Our pleasure
As a long time lover of Austin Healeys, (my last was a 100/6), this boat is sheer brilliance. Hydraulic seats? Incredible! What fun. Thank you for showing me around. A real privilege.
My only Healey was a 100 6 ..loved it left it to go into Army 1965...
Can't fault his taste. Beautiful interior.
As an ex-Pendennis wood worker, I approve! Cant let those standards slip, its what makes small yards stay in buisness.
Inexplicably bonkers only a true eccentric could conceive those chairs. What a fabulous craft, understated finesse and absolutely gorgeous.
Beautiful just love the way Donald oozes the knowledge of the build he wanted, and I doth my cap to his excellent motorboat.
If I ever have the money to have a yacht designed, I'm calling this guy
I loved it when I read about it in MB&Y magazine, but seeing the video just elevated it even further. Fantastic!
Of all the boat videos recommended by the algorithm of RUclips, this one was one that stopped me in my tracks. Added it to my folder boats I’d like to buy one day. Maybe I’ll see you soon. Just a beautiful design. Always been a fan of the Austin Healey 3000 and appreciated the influence in the design of this boat.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed, thanks for watching.
What an awesome boat and owner! “Only downside is that it doesn’t eject me”🤣🤣
The perfect yatch ever built in this planet. That's how old man manage paradise lifestyle on board.. glad to see this Channel.
Stunning boat. Just beautiful to see real craftsmanship. I hate to imagine the cost.
Such a BEAUTIFUL CRAFT YOU HAVE. IF I win the lottery I'm ordering one . WHAT A BEAUTY
What an amazingly good narration by the owner...so natural and amusing. Stunning boat too. My guess on price to build is £2.5 million
2 m is standard princess, i say 3.5 m be guide
you're probably right
Tool Cool. Nice place for a hair cut as well.
Thay seat going up is Sooooo Cool.....that is outside the box thinking......love it 😊😉
What a great yacht! Although the chair feature has been done in a similar way before by Steeler Yachts in Holland. Except for the head room in the midship cabin, this boat is perfect and stunningly beautiful. Mulder and de Groot always make beautiful yachts.
toys like this make a man wanna live forever....but so is not the case....enjoy the last years of your life in style i say....
this guy has stupid money....lol
Absolutely beautiful. This is a classic design executed so well, that it is a work of art.
I've always loved Austin Healey Motors. I owned a 1958 Frog Eye Sprite back in the 1990s. It was my first car and I'd drive it every day which was pretty silly. They are not really a practically daily runner.
This is the coolest dude on the planet
What a great Video....Fantastic Boat owned by one happy man...Oh! and wife of course...
Wow!...every now and then you see a truly unique machine, where someone has taken the time to re-think how to do some things and it works....
WONDERFULL!!!
A thing of beauty. Oozes clever design, not too ostentatious, superb quality workmanship.
I saw Healey and thought of the cars, very nice.
It is a beautiful thing, and just packed with superb ideas and design touches.
It doesn‘t eject me 😂. Good video, pleasant owner. Thanks
It's like a 50's Cadillac hardtop convertible motor yacht, tremendous job, sad we didn't get to meet *The Wife* .
Great galley and amount of space throughout. The neutral interiors make for a versatile space to work with your furnishings of choice .
Where is Hugo and Jack? What is this mockery? Lol cool boat. That's some experience in boating for that build. That chair is awesome. Like an Inspector Gadget thing. Go Go Gadget helm chair!
"Dont eject.."cool boat and video!
funny and beautiful. 🇬🇧 🇳🇱
I hope Pendennis gets many orders.
Brilliant
Absolutely a dream boat! Once I tried motorboating I never went back to the hassle of a sailing boat……
This is an amazing boat and he's such a nice gentleman! I love the interior. It reminds me of a luxury ski chalet, another passion of mine. Very tasteful and calming indeed.
I NEED that seat in my office, to erm, assert dominance.
This is what custom should mean!
Loved the elevated chair
Stunning! Go-go-gadget-go! Mulder Healey + Pendennis? I can't wait to see the children.
Fantastic boat! Hats off to Mulder, Vripack, Guido de Groot and, of course, Mr. Healey. For a 60' yacht she has a lot of good stuff in her. The fuel bunker system is impressive as are all the other systems; especially that helm seat! Bit of history: My friend in high school had a 1956 Austin Healey, purple in color. The windscreen folded down into "race" mode and it was at about the same angle as the windscreen on this boat. So that made me appreciate this beautiful boat even more. Bravo, Mr. Healey! I hope you and Pendennis build a whole bunch of these lovely yachts.
What a genuine find! This has to be the 'homiest' boats I've seen featured. I like it even better than the Berings. This was practical, quality and comfortable! Wow!
The dutch Vripack is the best interiour architect in wood available today!
Good old David. His boat is stunning it's kept next to my uncles boat in falmouth he also owns the cornish cider brand Rattler and the cornish cider farm near truro.
This is awesome. The design and nods to Healey cars brilliant. Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it.
ALL, round an amazing boat , built to their ideas of a sea going posh little ship . Happy sailing .
Brilliant , They must produce some more
my grandfather had a 60 ft yacht he would trailer behind the family station wagon to the lake on weekends.. brings back great memories
Wow, that must have been a big trailer!
Handsome classic boat, lovely finish, great kit, especially the Inspector Gadget bit!
Love the seats. Thunderbirds are Go!
Brilliant and design.....!!!
Beautiful boat and I also enjoyed having the owner give the tour.
Always a new surprise to see what Mulder has built. Must be loads of work to accomplish the dreams of their clients. What an amazing result!
Great Job designed for a very comfortable living money well spend unlike some owners who go for silly things like gold plated taps toilet roll holders n handles you spend your money to make your living on our boat pleasurable enjoy it mate well done
Brilliant line and length.
Amazing engine room
Ravishing! Gorgeous! The style and colors harken back to the old wooden boats. Now all that I need are the funds to purchase one. Thank you for sharing!
Always great the owner showing off their vessel, and it looks great to boot.
Wow wow wow wow wow. What a beaty!
Wow
Wow.
So what you're saying is... wow?
@@MotorBoatYachting wow
BEAUTIFUL!!!...My kind of Yacht :-)
This must be the.most beautiful yacht ive seen.in years. Love everything the design,.the color. Inside outside. Hope u guys can enjoy this.for many years. And visit many beautiful places.
What a boat! 60ft but it Feels like a super yacht! Beautiful lines and just perfect design, like it more than any modern princess or something like that!
Well dont get me wrong, its a beautifull boat, but... 60ft and only two average cabins are not my cup of tea! Heck, he does'nt even have the headroom in his masters!
don't worry, all your boxes, checked, nice boat.
Wow...what a package!
I am in love with the style of this boat. The outside is very automotive inspired, reminiscent of an Austin-Healey and the interior has this very sleek, modern design with classic materials and is just very warm and cozy and absolutely gorgeous. This yacht is one of the very few yachts that satisfies every bit of my interest. Lovely boat, and smartly laid out. A real work of pride. :)
What a stunning and beautifully designed boat . Exquisitely decorated too . I was a little surprised though that the master cabin had such a low ceiling
Probably has something to do with the main cabin above it. To keep the roof low so it can pass through certain bridges that can't open. I would assume that he would have rathered a flybridge with that crazy cool helm seat, but couldnt for bridge clearance.
@@blewyd Also they used/build the forward cabin as a master. But changed to get a better wiew. And how much time do you really use the master, standing up.
It's a great boat. I liked the range on this boat, from UK to the Med, at 20 kn.
Best boat ever shown on this channel... much better than the usual white plastic
Love the 1930s retro profile. Very nice “man cave” too!
What a lovely gentleman and a very lovely boat.
He's missing a trick...the theme to Thunderbirds should play automatically when the seat rises up through the roof
Absolutely a design Gerry Anderson would’ve loved
I hate fly bridges because they raise the center of gravity and air draft too much so this guy solved that problem. Absolute genius. If I was going to do the great loop then I think this would be my choice. It's my favorite Favorite.
Stunning boat
Very cool - great layout ! - love everything except for the midship cabin head room - they need to figure that out ... hunched over is okay for an engine room - not a good look for a cabin on a 60' boat that is most definitely on the expensive side.
Smashing boat ,great looking woodwork.
That is a proper modern day Gentleman’s cruiser.
Raising stairs! Brilliant
Those trick helm seats look like something you'd see in a Bond flick, I dig it. Very cool boat. Cheers!
Has money and taste with a hint of craze
I wanna see more from this guy’s life
Thanks for the most entertaining yacht video I've ever seen 😀 it's a gorgeous boat with some quirky bits 😋 absolutely brilliant helm seats what a genius idea 💡 👏 I'm in love with this yacht
Extraordinary boat, beautiful
Absolutely incredible boat. I’d buy one for my retirement.
WOW.
Absolutely incredible and stunning. Hats off to you sir, thank you for sharing your yacht with us😄😄
Fab boat. Congrats
Looks from the side like a 1957 Chevy Hardtop
Absolutely beautiful and well thought out 🎉 it would be grande to see this created in a power catamaran of similar length. Oh my goodness‼️‼️
This Yacht is amazing. I usually prefer larger Yacht's but the design and layout is off the charts. everything is accessible and stylishly laid down. . the man clearly knows what he is doing and has a good background in design especially with the hydraulic chairs. thanks for a great walk through.
Nice. I like his sense of humor. Everything is labeled, organized, and pristine. What's not to like?
Love the woodwork, beautifully done!
Beautiful.
Seems like the yacht has covered all the problems perfectly. 💕
Brilliant brilliant brilliant
Absolutely beautiful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Im going to take a wild guess and say no expense was spared here! :-) This is an incredible yacht and to be able to get 500mi worth of range is prob the best feature. I can imagine this would get a few orders on the market.
