You got it spot on lads regarding Jobe, with his unbelievable goal added to a brilliant performance Riggy was always going to get the plaudits but I thought Jobe was a class above anyone else on the pitch today. Especially the 2nd half when he dominated the pitch. An altogether great team performane and tactically spot on

Mundle had a great game too that free kick nearly broke the post.

Hi Phil & James - love your insightful comments. Mephan had a brilliant debut. Also gave great post match interview. Chris Rigg is just unreal + lots of other great performances. Mundle looks like an upgrade on JC. RLB reminds me a little of TM but with a major tactics/strategy/coaching upgrade. He's got our talented team (more or less same as end of last season) playing optimally, and can improve them more over time. Cheers. Jim

When the day comes that we sell either or both of them it going to eclipse the Pickford sale by some way.
As for possible January incomings right back must be an area as Hume was walking a tightrope today.
But everything is above my expectations. RLB is he the Wearside Wenger?

Jobe, today. If he gave the ball away once, or played even a poor pass i must have missed it.

Great video, today roker report & wise men say are reporting we are set to sign Aaron Connolly on free, at 24, Ireland international, experienced championship player plus he scored 10 goals in 36 appearences last season for hull this will be a good signing imo

I watched a different match to everyone else. I thought we were too passive, Boro passed through us too easily (straight line passes at times, and Jobe was like a little boy lost at times. Shows that football is a game of opinions.

Jobe had one of his best games and thats my opinion.

@@PatrickKelly-lz3pv he was blowing hard from about half an hour in. Middlesbrough were able to play round him as he hasn’t got the legs sadly. No amount of experience will make him more mobile.

@@MichaelReed-r5y As you suggested with your first comment, that is your opinion, I have a different opinion of his performance at home to Middlesbrough, I thought he played very well, opinions are only valid to those that hold them.

Rigg and Bellingham will be gone. Bellingham is head and shoulders above any player in that division. Hel be at Madrid within 2 years. Rigg will be at a top premiership club soon. 17? Dear me. Hopefully he keeps his feet on the ground and achieves everything in football. Bellinghams brother will make sure he does well and good luck to them both. But Sunderland have so much potential there now.
