Genuine question, no intention of hate or ridicule, I'm just curious... why do you honestly care if a soulless, cash grabbing corporation that doesn't care about it's fans, whether it's Disney or WB or whatever, makes money and "looks decent in terms of sales"?

Hated only because people compare it to Marvel every time. They're just the loud shitty minority that I wish I could mute. Some people just love superhero movies regardless if it is trash by comparison.

I just saw the movie and almost cried. Never felt that happy since endgame after 2 years of not seeing a single superhero movie. They pulled it off.

10/10? Really. It was decent and much better than most of the utter garbage shat out by dc over the last few years. The Dark Knight is a 10/10. Taxi Driver or Joker is a 10/10. Just because its not terribly written, acted and does not have cgi that looks like it was done by 14 year old computer graphics novice(like so many other marvel and DC movies) doesn't warrant the over the top praise this movie is getting. Its just a testament to how shite the super hero genre has become.

As a DC fan, I actually rlly liked this movie. Yes it’s a typical origin movie but that’s good as it differs from the other superhero movies we have gotten throughout the year. Can’t believe blue beetle is on the big screen. Can’t wait to see him with the teen titans
Honestly, it's so refreshing seeing a superhero project be so grounded, and also just a fun ride. This is easily better than most phase 4 marvel projects.
The effects and the fight scenes were amazing..it's also fun
I just saw Blue Beetle and I loved it! The movie was well-balanced and Xolo Mariduena was killing it! I also loved Bruna Marquezine in the movie and I have a HUGE crush on her! With all the Recent Modern DC Movies I've seen, The Batman and Blue Beetle are my top 2 favorites!

I loved the part where he said "It's beetlin' time" and beetled all over the villain, and then Dominic Toretto showed up and said "Nothing is stronger than family". Truly one of the movies ever made.

@@tommyancharuk9941 that's true as well. Which is surprising because to me The Flash is a Top 3 DC superhero. With all the hype, promotion and supposedly anticipation of this movie (since like last year), and it being a MULTIVERSE film and all -- w/cameos from past Supermans and other heroes, appearances from Batfleck & Zod, debut of Supergirl, the long waited return of Michael Keaton/89 Batman... for it to have done that little in the box office is really crazy to me. Didn't even do double of what Blue Beetle is projected to make.

I just saw it today with my friends it was soo good and the action was thrilling and I loved the blue beetle design it looked so gorgeous and I gotta say Rudy was my favorite. ❤😂

World Building is as much important and I would say more important than building a main character and his family.
Some of the best storylines exist (I'm not talking about only movies here) which mainly focuses on world more than a main character.
I would've wanted to know more about backstory of Scarb than another 15 minutes of DC answers to Spiderman: Homecoming and his Family.
Hopefully Blue Beetle will be another Elemental when it comes to the box office where it'll likely flop on the opening weekend but later on word of mouth will convince people to go see the movie and it'll start to make decent numbers.

@josephwilliams8001 If it does well or not will heavily determine if they make more. If you like something generally you would want more. Hence you hope it does well. Same reason people want bad movies to lose money so companies don't waste time on terrible films.

Just saw. I loved it. Same reason.
Loved this movie and even though my kids don't like comic book movies they loved it too. I hope all the Spanglish doesn't alienate too much (it did at our theater; a few non-latinos walked out). It's a very family oriented movie and that's what matters.

Yo blue Beatle killed it. I’m so proud that my culture was on display in the most earnest of ways. No woke nonsense( the Batman comment had me worried) but it was a joke😅, it displayed our culture in a way that included not excluded meaning we all have family for something to believe in to fight for.Even tho my culture and people are part of the fabric of beautiful USA we seem to be overlooked. That is mostly our fault. But this movie felt like a reintroduction. Hello America we are family…

Trust me, don't believe the overhyped, hard-sale comments here trying to persuade you into purchasing a movie ticket. You will only be disappointed. Instead listen to those who have actually not only seen the movie, but also seen the movie without convincing themselves that it was awesome before even setting foot into the theater. This movie is boring and corny AF. The family members will annoy you to no end, dumb jokes, and the plot gets lost somewhere along the way.
Hopefully it at least does spiderverse 1 or antman numbers. With its budget that should be enough to get a sequel

DC releases movies in my nation in 2D and 4D but not in 3D. And I always have to watch in 2D coz 4 D theatre is not in my city. It's quite far I had to watch Flash and Black Adam in 2D still I liked them but I wish they release it in 3D....they must learn from Marvel.

This movie was awesome, yes we all thought it would be trash, but probably one of the best performance by the dc team so far, beside the joker movie, the new Batman, aqua man and Wonder Woman, still think he did better than Wonder Woman but she was so fitting for the role. Great combat scenes too, it’s like someone who has a sense in physics helped make the movie. Back than DC movies has the worst flying scenes that it would look super awkward even with Superman but in this movie it looks not cringe and better. Also when people gets knocked around, the physics makes sense I swear the justice league movie people literally fly left than right than swirl do a loop the loop and fly back to the person sending them flying like wtf? Lol
Movie is a 10/10 kept me entertained the whole time and the plot/story was perfect.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie....it was garbage.....those who gave it a positive review.... honestly need help....this movie gave no explanation for the origin of the alien tech and why did it pick the main character to be the host......I can tell those who gave the movie a positive review... aren't real movie fans or super hero fans....you don't think about origins....which leads me to think you need to develop critical thinking
If you know nothing about blue beetle, the characters you might like it. But if you know them from the comics or other media, you're not gonna like it.

I FEEL CHEATED!
Really disappointed me. You hardly get to see this amazing suit in
action. Once in the beginning, a tiny bit later for less than a minute
and not again until the very end of the movie in a short fight with the
villian. That's it!
Movie is quite long at 2hrs so plenty of time existed to really dive
into what the suit can really do. Yet...zero crime fighting scenes which
would have been perfect. So much potential to really pack the action in
and show off this amazing suit. Instead, we get episodes of family
matters.
