They were my 3 favourite members, I kinda expected Woonggi to leave (and Jerome as well, he just looked so sad during their last activities), didn't expect Minsu at all though. Imo they were kicked out for being cute and 'femenine' in comparison to the other members and it's pretty obvious if you see the new members who fit the new To1 'masculine' and strong concept... Some people also said that they were kicked out for being LGBTQ members, while Chihoon was kicked out for having a girlfriend... Of course those are rumours, but if they are true it's even worse...

the nostalgic feeling from watching rtk, watching them growing as TOO and supporting them rebranding would never be replaced for me. i spent my pandemic with them and they even made my summer fresh and full of excitement. i was inactive since march 2022 and i just searched the today. i thought i will see more contents and songs but what i saw is this. I’m so disappointed in Wake One. When I followed TO1 since a little before the rebranding and when I heard they were moved to a CJ ENM subsidiary (Wake One) I was happy as I thought that would mean more funding for the group. But after Re:alize everything went downhill. TO1 was my first ultrasound boy group and all love ot10 and seeing members leave makes me so sad and worried. If 4 members leave in a span of 2 months something must be wrong. Of course I will continue supporting the new members as well as the current members and the former. I just think more members will leave and the group will disband and I would hate for that to happen:(

Additional details: They were pretty much on hiatus during the second part of 2020. They only performed on KCONTACT season 2, Kimchi festival and K-Dramatic City. The interval between Running TOOgether and RE:BORN is 10 months. They hadn’t appeared anywhere till that fateful day of KCONTACT 3 when they announced rebranding. They did put out content before 2021 tho. They have more variety shows than they have albums. They have more KCON attendances than albums. Chihoon had been absolutely mia since March 21st and it lead up to WakeOne not celebrating his birthday and then WakeOne Wake up, WakeOne Answer TOgethers and then they finally announced what exactly happened. Many gethers have suspicions that the reason TOOWICE left is because the new “more mature” image WakeOne’s trying to give TO1 isn’t fit for the more feminine members who were these three. So they agreed to leave the group. We don’t know anything about Chihoon.

@@floryortiz916 Their old management company n.Ch ent (who manage them as TOO) doesn't mind about the composition of the group..In fact, n.Ch loves these boys so much and try to kept them under their wings for free..Even by make a public statement for it..But they didn't have a chance to go against CJ..The problem arise when they had to move to company under CJ, which is Wakeone..In the new company, the boys then deemed unfit..Hence the sudden removal..
I was so heartbroken when chihoon left, but i got even more mad at wakeone when jerome, minsu, and woongi left. What made me so mad about their “new image” branding is that these three members did just fine/ amazing when to1 released son of a beast and no more x. They did great with these darker songs. Furthermore, as mentioned in the video To1 was created through a survival show! It defeats the purpose of the survival show if the company is just going to add new members 2 years after. I also watched road to kingdom and i was impressed at To1’s performances and I immediately became a fan! Like they’re a very talented group. I just feel so bad for the past members, current members and the new added members. They went through a lot, but because of bad management we may never see the group’s fullest potential.
A lot of my favorite songs by the group were during their TOO era (Take it Slow and Count 1 2) so I agree that it's sad that the label issues caused them to remove all their old music. It seems they can't even sing it anymore... Also I feel like with TOO/TO1 there's a huge elephant in the room which is that Woonggi, Jerome and Minsu had major femme/"flower boy" energy. (Edited to add: maybe 'feminine' is more accurate than 'femme'.) Minsu was actually my bias. I loved having them in the group, they were so refreshing to have in a boyband. So to see that all three of them were removed from the group at the same time after "in-depth conversations about team identity" makes me scared about the label's intentions...almost like they decided they didn't want that kind of energy in the band anymore. Does anybody remember the other member that was removed from the group at the very beginning? There was a member that won on World Klass but he was removed from the group like the next day because of some "scandal." Jaeyun replaced him. So yeah, a lot of company shadiness from the very start.

i actually agree, someone on twitter managed to make the connection between woonggi jerome and minsu (who are known as the toowice line) being more feminine overall with their departure considering the three new members are definitely more masculine + they somehow performed a bg song at kcon instead of a gg song like they always did previously it's a bit of a conspiracy, but it's not merely a coincidence in my opinion
i hope nonfans could give the group more support 😭😭😭 the members and us fans have been through A LOT. we really only wish that they can peacefully release albums after albums like other groups. I started stanning them around oct 2020 and they were my ult for some time. To1 will never be the same without chihoon, minsu, woongi and jerome. I have always hoped that they will be more popular in the Kpop industry or one of their comebacks would blow up because I knew the hard work they put into their career. Regardless, I would support the newer members too and I hope wake one actually starts treating them like humans with needs

I am one of the few people that has been supporting them since World Klass, and this situation reminded me when one of the winners that was going to debut in TOO: Hanjun (now changed his name to Seohoo and he's still under n.CH Entertainment as an actor) had to leave the group under weird circumstancies and was replaced by Jaeyun; I kind of understood why a member was replaced back then because the group didn't debuted yet, but NOW? Also, I noticed that 2 of the 3 new members are Japanese, in World Klass there was a Japanese trainee: Taichi, which was discriminated by appearing the least time on screen and always having less lines in the survival show performances, so that makes me worry because there is a high chance that the new Japanese members will have the same destiny. Whatever that happens at this point, let's support all them.💕
i started listening to to1’s music literally a day before chihoon left, and i was a little sad because i appreciated what he added to the group as a producer and his cool voice. now three more members are leaving??? this is why i hate project groups or groups from elimination shows. the groups almost always end up being treated as a side piece. becoming an idol is not easy at all, and you have to sacrifice so much- including your childhood. it’s sad that all of that work and determination can amount to nothing in the end. i hope these ex members pursue successful careers. i also hope to1 fans continue supporting them and don’t resent the new members. honestly tho they need a better company.

You're so right about the concepts. Did these companies already forget that the most popular bg songs (excluding BTS and EXO) were Pentagon's Shine and Ikon's Love Scenario? Any boy group can shine with a bright concept. Even groups like Seventeen, TXT, Enhypen's Polaroid Love and Fever are examples that a boy group with those concepts and songs sometimes can shine more than the conventional dark concept/hip hop music. There are currently thousands of boy groups with that concept, it's not funny anymore. I love TOO's initial concept and the feminine members were so important to give balance to the group. Their company doesn't really know how to make them stand out :(
What a bad company wakeone is..removing 4 members is big blow. It will be hard for me to accept the other new members. I don't hate them tho but it will never be the same. I already slowly accepted that Chihoon my bias is gone, but TOOWICE members?! they were literally the sunshine of the group. But seeing the situation now that the other 6 members are still staying despite the changes. They need more of our support.
I’m here because of the new members (Renta and Daigo specifically) since I’ve been a fan of them from when they were on Produce 101 Japan. I’ve heard a lot about the mistreatment TO1 has had but I never knew it was this bad ☹️ I’ll try to learn the other members now and try stanning them officially. I’m really hoping things in the future get better for TO1 and that the new members are accepted by the original fans…
I'm new to the fandom and to1 is hella effortlessly funny to the point that it makes me forget some members left. Some might think I'm crazy for laughing and then suddenly weeping but that company is crazier. I'm a Chihoon, Minsu, and Jisu biased and sometimes I can't pick a member so it breaks my heart, to1 doesn't deserve these treatments and so as the fandom doesn't deserve these news but then again let's respect their decision, they must be suffocated by the agency's rash treatment.

1:41 actually TOO had some time from the end of World Klass to RTK. WK ended in December. Filming of RTK started in March. They had a little less time than Kep1er

I discovered them this week and fell in love with their dynamic personalities. I’m so upset that they’re being replaced. It breaks my heart. They deserve better and maybe this will help them find it.
It's just so sad to see them leaving the group. I've been supporting them since their debut and its also sad that they have a little promotions. Same case with cignature where 2 main members left and was replaced too. I really love them so i'm still going to support the 3 new members. I hope everyone will notice them until the end. What happened to them has really made me sad these past few days. Been a fan of kpop for about 7 years now and they were the first boy group I started to feel something for. I saw a vid of theirs a couple months ago and tried to keep up with them ever since. Watching their content made me so happy because of the chemistry all the members had with each other. I really do feel like Wakeone got rid of those 3 due to homophobia, lets be real. Chihoon probably jumped ship early after finding out wtf was going on. Idk anything about the boys' private lives but the reason why I was so attached to them was because of how comfortable they seemed to be with being their authentic themselves especially Woonggi. This thing about a "more mature" image is just a nice way of saying they had enough of the gay activity lmao. I hope the 3 of them get to debut in a new group, though!

I’ve just got interested in this group due to their cover of TVXQ song “hug”. I didn’t know they were so mistreated and many original members left the group and were replaced. I really hope everyone (both the current members and the former members) will find not only success but also stability and a good and fair treatment. I also saw that two former members (Jerome and Woongi) are on Boys Planet. I hope that, if they don’t debut in the boys planet final group, they will redebut in another group.
Poor guys. I feel so sorry for those young groups. It all reminds me on Got 7 and how they were treated. And not to talk about Seventeen. One of the best quality dancers and singers was treated very very bad. My opinion as european is that young korean trainees or members of the groups should find their own voice. Stop with humble. The reason they changed to TO1 is because They lost copyright to keep it and stone music shut done to where they’ll only distribute things. Things were better back when they were in NcH tbh. But they probably would’ve wound up being like nature ig.
seems to me the company had a certain image change in mind and just booted the members that didnt "match" what they were looking for. literally all the members that left were my favourites, i really liked the balance of the softer members with the more masculine members. hopefully if they still want to be idols some other company will snap them up. the whole group doesnt deserve this and i feel bad for the new boys that have to fill the past members shoes. the future of this group is looking very vague.

Saw their new video today, I wasn't aware of these issue, but while watching some members look different, so Im not sure if someone was added but to my dismay, there are replacing some previous member, and when I knew that chihoon left and the other 3 was replaced, I realize what others think as well, they are the feminine in the group, its pretty toxic to lose a job base on that. :( I hope the others that was replaced will find another group that will welcome them. For the new T01 please do your best, the new MV was well put together, all the luck!
Anyways on the bright side I’m happy for the new Japanese members as TO1 can have slightly more diverse members and can count on them to translate Japanese things if/when needed. And since both em almost made it into the debut group of Produce 101 Japan S2, INI, (which would be permanent just like their brother group JO1) I’m happy they finally get to debut in a group. Both of the contestants were almost close to debut in INI (ranking 13 and 16)

The information that I have it's that when TOO/TO1 started filming RTK they were still trainees and their debut was not aired. They debuted with Magnolia, their 1st comeback was '1, 2 count' and then they were about to announce their 2nd comeback when they went to hiatus.
WakeOne has not improved with their management ever since they were called MMO ENTERTAINMENT if some ppl IN2IT then you know how that group was treated and then CJ & ENM rebranded MMO Entertainment and merged with OFF THE RECORD which was the label that managed FROMIS_9 and IZ*ONE and that label focused to much on IZ*ONE then FROMIS_9 since they were they're main money makers this is now same thing with KEP1ER and TO1 but way worse so then after they merged with them and became WAKEONE at first i thought ok i thought company learned but I see they have not and became way worse honestly I liked when N.CH handled them when they were called TOO and CJ & ENM just wanted totake them under their company cause I guess they smelled bad or something honestly I would not he suprised I WAKEONE will focus more on KEP1ER and hardly give comeback to TO1 since they have main money makers just like OFF THE RECORD handled Fromis_9.

When I watched road to kingdom I didn't think much on them but then I can across their zombie variety show and 2house and really fell for their dynamics. I normally can't stand to Stan members up to the number 10 but they were the exception. I knew their names and had an idea about their personalities. To hear that not only woonggi left but also Jerome, chihoon and minsu... Like are you serious?? What the heck... Idk how to feel...now where are they? Are they still in the industry or did they leave?
Chihoon completely terminated his contract with both TO1 and WakeOne. I doubt he might continue as an idol since he didn't really want to be one in the first place. So he is probably out of the idol industry but he will still be using his SoundCloud and is still in Curohako the crew him and Chan both are a part of. Woonggi, Jerome and Minsu are still under WakeOne and their is a rumor that they will likely be debuting in another group sooner or later. Their is also a rumor that they will be participating in Boys Planet 999 since they recently changed one of the qualifications to allow trainees from companies to participate. Originally only independent trainees could participate, but now they are including trainees from companies.

I'll never forgive wake one for this, they didn't deserve this at all, I've been with them since magnolia came out and when everything went downhill i was pretty upset. First they have a long ass hiatus then deleted everything once they rebranded, and now members leaving. The fact To1 has 2 bright comebacks just shows that the "cutest" members leaving has nothing to do with the group's concept. Tbh my personal theory is that the members who left were simply sick of being mistreated / being in an underrated group. Some people say they were kicked out bc To1 was going to have a dark concept, but it turned out to be false.

They were my 3 favourite members, I kinda expected Woonggi to leave (and Jerome as well, he just looked so sad during their last activities), didn't expect Minsu at all though. Imo they were kicked out for being cute and 'femenine' in comparison to the other members and it's pretty obvious if you see the new members who fit the new To1 'masculine' and strong concept... Some people also said that they were kicked out for being LGBTQ members, while Chihoon was kicked out for having a girlfriend... Of course those are rumours, but if they are true it's even worse...

I’m so disappointed in Wake One. When I followed TO1 since a little before the rebranding and when I heard they were moved to a CJ ENM subsidiary (Wake One) I was happy as I thought that would mean more funding for the group. But after Re:alize everything went downhill. TO1 was my first ultrasound boy group and all love ot10 and seeing members leave makes me so sad and worried. If 4 members leave in a span of 2 months something must be wrong. Of course I will continue supporting the new members as well as the current members and the former. I just think more members will leave and the group will disband and I would hate for that to happen:(

They were pretty much on hiatus during the second part of 2020. They only performed on KCONTACT season 2, Kimchi festival and K-Dramatic City. The interval between Running TOOgether and RE:BORN is 10 months. They hadn’t appeared anywhere till that fateful day of KCONTACT 3 when they announced rebranding. They did put out content before 2021 tho.
They have more variety shows than they have albums.
They have more KCON attendances than albums.
Chihoon had been absolutely mia since March 21st and it lead up to WakeOne not celebrating his birthday and then WakeOne Wake up, WakeOne Answer TOgethers and then they finally announced what exactly happened.
Many gethers have suspicions that the reason TOOWICE left is because the new “more mature” image WakeOne’s trying to give TO1 isn’t fit for the more feminine members who were these three. So they agreed to leave the group. We don’t know anything about Chihoon.

I was so heartbroken when chihoon left, but i got even more mad at wakeone when jerome, minsu, and woongi left. What made me so mad about their “new image” branding is that these three members did just fine/ amazing when to1 released son of a beast and no more x. They did great with these darker songs. Furthermore, as mentioned in the video To1 was created through a survival show! It defeats the purpose of the survival show if the company is just going to add new members 2 years after. I also watched road to kingdom and i was impressed at To1’s performances and I immediately became a fan! Like they’re a very talented group. I just feel so bad for the past members, current members and the new added members. They went through a lot, but because of bad management we may never see the group’s fullest potential.
A lot of my favorite songs by the group were during their TOO era (Take it Slow and Count 1 2) so I agree that it's sad that the label issues caused them to remove all their old music. It seems they can't even sing it anymore...
Also I feel like with TOO/TO1 there's a huge elephant in the room which is that Woonggi, Jerome and Minsu had major femme/"flower boy" energy. (Edited to add: maybe 'feminine' is more accurate than 'femme'.) Minsu was actually my bias. I loved having them in the group, they were so refreshing to have in a boyband. So to see that all three of them were removed from the group at the same time after "in-depth conversations about team identity" makes me scared about the label's intentions...almost like they decided they didn't want that kind of energy in the band anymore.
Does anybody remember the other member that was removed from the group at the very beginning? There was a member that won on World Klass but he was removed from the group like the next day because of some "scandal." Jaeyun replaced him. So yeah, a lot of company shadiness from the very start.

I started stanning them around oct 2020 and they were my ult for some time. To1 will never be the same without chihoon, minsu, woongi and jerome. I have always hoped that they will be more popular in the Kpop industry or one of their comebacks would blow up because I knew the hard work they put into their career. I am one of the few people that has been supporting them since World Klass, and this situation reminded me when one of the winners that was going to debut in TOO: Hanjun (now changed his name to Seohoo and he's still under n.CH Entertainment as an actor) had to leave the group under weird circumstancies and was replaced by Jaeyun; I kind of understood why a member was replaced back then because the group didn't debuted yet, but NOW?
Also, I noticed that 2 of the 3 new members are Japanese, in World Klass there was a Japanese trainee: Taichi, which was discriminated by appearing the least time on screen and always having less lines in the survival show performances, so that makes me worry because there is a high chance that the new Japanese members will have the same destiny.
Whatever that happens at this point, let's support all them.💕
i started listening to to1’s music literally a day before chihoon left, and i was a little sad because i appreciated what he added to the group as a producer and his cool voice. now three more members are leaving??? this is why i hate project groups or groups from elimination shows. the groups almost always end up being treated as a side piece. becoming an idol is not easy at all, and you have to sacrifice so much- including your childhood. it’s sad that all of that work and determination can amount to nothing in the end. i hope these ex members pursue successful careers.

You're so right about the concepts. Did these companies already forget that the most popular bg songs (excluding BTS and EXO) were Pentagon's Shine and Ikon's Love Scenario? Any boy group can shine with a bright concept. Even groups like Seventeen, TXT, Enhypen's Polaroid Love and Fever are examples that a boy group with those concepts and songs sometimes can shine more than the conventional dark concept/hip hop music. There are currently thousands of boy groups with that concept, it's not funny anymore. I love TOO's initial concept and the feminine members were so important to give balance to the group. Their company doesn't really know how to make them stand out :(

1:41 actually TOO had some time from the end of World Klass to RTK. WK ended in December. Filming of RTK started in March. They had a little less time than Kep1er

What happened to them has really made me sad these past few days. Been a fan of kpop for about 7 years now and they were the first boy group I started to feel something for. I saw a vid of theirs a couple months ago and tried to keep up with them ever since. Watching their content made me so happy because of the chemistry all the members had with each other. I really do feel like Wakeone got rid of those 3 due to homophobia, lets be real. Chihoon probably jumped ship early after finding out wtf was going on. Idk anything about the boys' private lives but the reason why I was so attached to them was because of how comfortable they seemed to be with being their authentic themselves especially Woonggi. My opinion as european is that young korean trainees or members of the groups should find their own voice. Stop with humble. It is so hard for us your fans to watch what some agencies doing with you. And also your parents should be involved in your life there. They have right to know everything.

seems to me the company had a certain image change in mind and just booted the members that didnt "match" what they were looking for. literally all the members that left were my favourites, i really liked the balance of the softer members with the more masculine members. hopefully if they still want to be idols some other company will snap them up. the whole group doesnt deserve this and i feel bad for the new boys that have to fill the past members shoes. the future of this group is looking very vague.

I honestly didn’t know TOO existed before seeing them in RTK. They did well in RTK so they got my attention but I also didn’t know they rebranded to TO1. Their agency can’t even do their job properly. The members deserve much better than this, I’m so disappointed

@@seventeenrighthere_ nah, i wasn't saying they should have done so; it was even said by lim themselves that a lot of the contestants have their own paths now and would probably have denied the offer if it ever came to them. it's still a bit icky to add people not from that survival show to the actual group, though, considering that's how they were formed. they should have really pulled a cherry bullet and stayed 6

Saw their new video today, I wasn't aware of these issue, but while watching some members look different, so Im not sure if someone was added but to my dismay, there are replacing some previous member, and when I knew that chihoon left and the other 3 was replaced, I realize what others think as well, they are the feminine in the group, its pretty toxic to lose a job base on that. :( I hope the others that was replaced will find another group that will welcome them. For the new T01 please do your best, the new MV was well put together, all the luck!

Anyways on the bright side I’m happy for the new Japanese members as TO1 can have slightly more diverse members and can count on them to translate Japanese things if/when needed. And since both em almost made it into the debut group of Produce 101 Japan S2, INI, (which would be permanent just like their brother group JO1) I’m happy they finally get to debut in a group. Both of the contestants were almost close to debut in INI (ranking 13 and 16)

The information that I have it's that when TOO/TO1 started filming RTK they were still trainees and their debut was not aired.
They debuted with Magnolia, their 1st comeback was '1, 2 count' and then they were about to announce their 2nd comeback when they went to hiatus.
WakeOne has not improved with their management ever since they were called MMO ENTERTAINMENT if some ppl IN2IT then you know how that group was treated and then CJ & ENM rebranded MMO Entertainment and merged with OFF THE RECORD which was the label that managed FROMIS_9 and IZ*ONE and that label focused to much on IZ*ONE then FROMIS_9 since they were they're main money makers this is now same thing with KEP1ER and TO1 but way worse so then after they merged with them and became WAKEONE at first i thought ok i thought company learned but I see they have not and became way worse honestly I liked when N.CH handled them when they were called TOO and CJ & ENM just wanted totake them under their company cause I guess they smelled bad or something honestly I would not he suprised I WAKEONE will focus more on KEP1ER and hardly give comeback to TO1 since they have main money makers just like OFF THE RECORD handled Fromis_9.

When I watched road to kingdom I didn't think much on them but then I can across their zombie variety show and 2house and really fell for their dynamics. I normally can't stand to Stan members up to the number 10 but they were the exception. I knew their names and had an idea about their personalities.

Chihoon completely terminated his contract with both TO1 and WakeOne. I doubt he might continue as an idol since he didn't really want to be one in the first place. So he is probably out of the idol industry but he will still be using his SoundCloud and is still in Curohako the crew him and Chan both are a part of.
Woonggi, Jerome and Minsu are still under WakeOne and their is a rumor that they will likely be debuting in another group sooner or later. Their is also a rumor that they will be participating in Boys Planet 999 since they recently changed one of the qualifications to allow trainees from companies to participate. Originally only independent trainees could participate, but now they are including trainees from companies.
are the new members gonna fill in the cute concept void or will to1 just not do those concepts anymore? the other comments are suggesting it was a deliberate change in concept direction. seems weird to me to unbalance the group if thats the case.
lots of groups wont survive half the members being replaced. can only think of VAV and DKZ off the top of my head

I'll never forgive wake one for this, they didn't deserve this at all, I've been with them since magnolia came out and when everything went downhill i was pretty upset. First they have a long ass hiatus then deleted everything once they rebranded, and now members leaving. And I think Minsu, Woonggi and Jerome left cause of the new mature 'masculine' image wake one wants the group to have.... participating in a survival show for nothing, they could've added members from the survival show
