I couldn’t tell a difference. I use George L’s because when I compared them to different cables at home, they had the cleanest bell like tone. They were far superior to the other cables I had been gigging with. That was on a Les Paul through a Roland JC120. I haven’t used anything else since 2009, but I’m curious if there’s anything out there comprable.
Hye sir... I want to ask which one best rsult cable for acoustic build in pickup... Trs or xlr??? And one more thing i found xlr have 3 type... Xlr male-Xlr female, 6.35mm mono-xlr female, and xlr male-6.35mm mono.... Thank you for solving my problem....
I’m surprised I heard a difference at all, since I’m listening to RUclips compression through iPhone X speakers, but A and F both sounded discernibly (if not slightly) more full-range. All the rest seemed about same as each other.
Should post the non-compressed (WAV, FLAC) to demo, but I have a feeling, it is the same as in the audiophile world, and that you can't tell a difference either audibly or scientifically. I've tried the various expensive cables in my hifi rig. Only thing I ever noticed was that some glass cables aren't made like the others so you might not be able to achieve 96k.
WAV files are available to download in the description. A handful of us here at the store listened to the shootout and 1 cable has come out as personal preference way more than the others. We're a bunch of session guitarists/mix engineers
@@ChrisEffort you don't this was just another BS video made for no one in nowhere land.Sometimes i wonder why folks even make videos other than to hear themselves talk.
Well...it depends on your individual setup. You'll need something to match the impedance of your guitar to your home theater system. Your guitar output should be a HiZ level while your home theater system should have a consumer (-10) line level input. You'll need to find an impedance transformer to convert your guitars output to the line level. ***Please note that we're assuming your setup based on common application practices. In reality your home theater system could have a professional (+4) line level or even a LowZ (mic) level. Check the specs in your manuals.
Looking for a replacement to an old gold-tip Monster cable that I've considered "my good one" since 2005 or so. I received an Acoustisonic Telecaster into an equally old onboard-effect Vox amp that I don't mind leaving in the garage so I can come and go a little easier while my kid is asleep. Main point: I listened to the WAV before watching the video and I'm curious to see what F was because I think that will cover the sound spectrum I'm trying to get out of the Acoustisonic. I'm pretty much guaranteeing immediate purchase of whatever the cable turns out to be. P.S. I know, I know... "1 guitar for the price of 3". Lol But no joke, I have never played such a beautiful sounding and awesome feeling instrument. The fact that it sounds/plays that good unplugged and yet it's thin enough to sway it around and move it so well makes it a blast to jam on. Plus, It makes all my goofy/weird noodling and chords sound so clear and alive that I've fallen back in love with playing. P.S.S. Ultimate looper pedal instrument in terms of convenience and control. Does Radiohead-like acoustic ambience VERY well with a little knob twirling and body positioning.
What’s the point of review if you don’t post the results of which cave was which? I don’t want to call or email. I’m capable of listening and then finding answer in the comments…….
I get that it's to increase engagement with the business, but c'mon friend... My email is overblown with spam and I don't want to give it away to anyone else unless it's a vital requirement. I won't downvote the video because I get it, but I feel a bit clickbaited if I'm being honest.

E, A, F, C, D, B. Descending order of favourite to least
Cable F is the cable I preferred. It sounded the most like an unamplified acoustic guitar.

We'd be interested to see if you feel the same after listening to the WAV files!

C sounds nice, round and full, F sounds nice, narrower and bit more compressed but clear.
There is any cable to connect directly guitar to home theater ???

B sounded really flat to me..
What would be the best cable for "recording studio use only" for acoustic guitar?
An XLR cable connected to a microphone

D'Addario / Planet Waves the best.
