They basically seem like bevis and butthead the live action ones.
They are endearing characters that could bring comedy into power rangers tv shows. In real both actors are best friends.
I imagine bebop and rocksteady had great success on the original Tmnt cartoon so since that it inspired vast other tv shows to get 2 similar kind of characters that prove failure is a amazing art along with entertaining lines.
Lupe Sanchez my favorite Bulk and Skull moment is when they helped save the parents in the MMPR movie :D

I love these two! When I watch the older episodes now whenever Bulk and Skull come on, and their theme starts up it always puts a smile on my face. I wish they'd give them a small cameo in the new Power Rangers movie. Nothing major, but I think it would be cool to just have them walk by, or react to something that was happening around them. Too bad it'll probably never happen.

Fun fact: Paul Scarier (Bulk) also played in Power Rangers Hyperforce, and Jason Narvy (Skull) is a music and acting professor.

I went back and watched some old MMPR episodes, and I have to be COMPLETELY honest:
Bulk and Skull were the life of the show.
Everything not Bulk and Skull was toy promotion and sparky pretend swords slashing latex. But these two really gave the show its flavor and its realism. Everyone had a bully growing up, and the Power Rangers had their comic relief - but these two were the most "real" characters on the show. The most relatable, most interesting characters in the show.
I met Jason David Frank at Comic-Con a few years back, and after being COMPLETELY disillusioned I gotta be real here: You two are freakin awesome, and two of the most real people on the show. Loved you guys as a kid. Love how cool you are now.

What was your experience with Jason David Frank that made you disillusioned ? I never had much of an interaction with him, but did see him at a comic con and he came by those of us standing in line for a John Barrowman photo op and said "why is John Battowman's line so much bigger than mine?" or something like that as a joke. Then he asked us if we were all having a good time. Seemed like an okay guy . I have met Jason Nary and had fun chatting with him (very friendly and really outgoing ).

My favorite moment with these two (besides that ONE from In Space) Skull playing the piano and Bulk being so proud of him that he admits he was wrong about only dweebs playing music. Bulk and Skull had so much character development over the course of the Zordon era... I can never imagine Power Rangers without Bulk and Skull.
I always wondered why Bulk and Skull picked on kids that could kick their asses in an instant.

it's the classic bully mentality, bullies only pick on people they feel inferior too, so it made sense they picked on the Power Rangers because they were jealous of what they were and had.

I wonder what it must feel like for Jason Narvy's students, those that grew up watching their professor...was one half of the true stars of the franchise.

i remember seeing interviews of bulk a few years back and i had no clue and never would have thought in a thousand years he would have a super outgoing personality and good verbal skills. i was totally sold by his character bulk thats how good he acted
What's funny is, in one of the blooper reels on the Ninja Ranger season, Bulk and Skull is like, there's something strange here, and Skull is like, "yeah, we've been in school way too long," funny as Hell. I always enjoyed Bulk and Skull, they are the only O.G. Power Ranger actors that's been through every season up to Galaxy. and they've had some classic moments. Honestly, I'd like to see the duo in their own show, not as Bulk and Skull, but just as something they could do together.

Paul and Jason did awesome jobs as Bulk and Skull. I absolutely love these two, they’re like the ‘Three Stooges’ of my generation. Lots of character development throughout the show. From beginning as high school bullies to finding out the identities of the Power Rangers and becoming police officers and whatnot. Not to mention these guys still look like they did 30 years ago. How do they do that?

Bulk & Skull were the equivalent of no doubt LAUREL & HARDY. a tough but extremely funny duo. Its funny Jason mentioned that episode with the bad dream segment inflicted by GOLDAR where they became Power Rangers & crashed the Sord. When I taped it at that time i must have played that scene dozens of times I found that so that funny to this day. Tears were coming out of my eyes with that scene. 😄😄😄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

To piss my aunt off I shouted "it's morphin time!" to my 5 year old cousins, they would always go nuts bouncing off the walls. My aunt screamed "NO ITS NOT MORPHIN TIME!!!" brings back fond memories.

Austin st. John says the show payed like shit despite making obscene profits, and that when he asked for more money, they decided to fire the staff after each season and replace them with new actors so that they would never have to give raises.
That's how Saban loves to operate. The man may be a pioneer, in a sense, but he's very greedy.

I'm still sad to know that their spin off was cancelled. Both of them were my favourites, even more so than the rangers themselves!
