When I heard “Braille” I went 🤯 because I hadn’t even thought about how people hard of vision would be able to use products without other accommodations. We love the inclusivity! 👏
It's super helpful. I used to work with L'occitane en Provence. They have Braille on all their products and regularly had products that donated to Vision Aid

Hyram, thank you for talking about how important it is for black people to wear sunscreen. The beauty industry has ignored us for so long that now, too many people of color believe that melanin alone will protect them from the sun. Black people (and anyone with brown skin) are not impervious from skin cancer and aging due to sun damage. It’s important that we dismantle that myth and give everyone access to beautiful, healthy skin❤️
Yes! 2 of my black family members have gotten skin cancer and were shocked, as they thought they were immune from it, since they don't burn.

Apparently its a really great line with good ingredients and the packaging has braille on it, which i think is amazing to have! Hopefully Hyram will review soon :)

I work with the blind for a living. Knowing that the packaging has Braille really caught my attention. I’m definitely going to have to look more into this brand.

Quick FYI: In the U.S., most black folks use a wash cloth/“wash rag” to cleanse their skin & a wash cloth in the shower. We’re just taught that growing up.

Companies are really trying to focus more on having really good quality ingredients rather than having attractive packaging and a good smell. I truly think that has a lot to do with you.

I’m a black women. You’ve made me feel, need and want to wear sunscreen, I’m currently using bare republics spf 30 face, I like but dose have a slight white cast if I use to must at one time, I’m on a mission right now to find the best for me. Your doing great sweetie!😊
I use Black Girl sunscreen and it’s the only one I’ve ever used that doesn’t leave that cast. Check it out at Target

I have super dry skin, and grew up in the Southwest. When I lived in GA last year, my skin was GLOWING. Best condition my skin has EVER been in.

Everything is about money the big companies and everything and everyone just cares about money SO I’m so glad that companies are starting to create a demand for recycled plastic cuz that’s basically the only way we’re gonna get plastic to be recycled more often cuz more companies will want to use it to look good to the public so recycling plants will have to recycle it more instead of throwing it away cuz recycling plants don’t even recycle that much they throw away some of it. The remaining issue tho is the general populace that doesn’t care to recycle. I suppose brands advertising that they use recycled plastic is a way to publicize and advertise recycling in general cuz people will see it more often and maybe start recycling, but most people already know what it is and just don’t care or where they live doesn’t allow them to recycle anything or barely anything. So really the issue resides in the process of recycling and recycling rules and regulations and the plants as well as the demand for new plastic so I’m glad companies are wanting more post consumer plastic cuz they get their money from looking good and it will make change because the areas where plastic isn’t recycled as much will increase and yeah so yay at least something positive is coming from the greed of large companies
