I’m very been doing this drill with 100 golf balls. This drill has helped me more than another drill. This is definitely my warm up drill

@@scotthogangolf I have set up a net and garmin r10 for the winter. I’m using many of the drills you have shown.

@@scotthogangolf shallowing the club is my biggest problem. As a bodybuilder and martial artist I tend to use my biceps and traps pulling the club over the top.

95% of golfers are hackers because of “straight jacket” golf instructors who basically wrap us up in a straight jacket and twist us into pretzels and say now you should be able to swing freely and hit like tiger.
We dont know how to use the tool so we end up being absolutely plagued by chunks on the course.
Nobody has to teach us to use a hammer and after 1 day we all can hit the nail in the middle of the head.
If we knew how to use the tool we could add all the power we wanted.

You're correct, research shows that going step by step and trying to learn a movement is very detrimental to consistency. Instead the goal is to focus on what the point is with the object (make a center strike) their swing would actually shape up nicely and be more consistent as well. It's not where the industry has marketed to people and unfortunately most golfers have bought it.

@@scotthogangolf i love that you suggest making slow half swings. That has helped me more than anything to understanding impact and how to use the tool. Still plagued with chunking at times though so still looking for that holy grail missing link.
I think it has something to do with swinging very horizontal and very sweepy.
