Update: I replaced the bumper brackets to supposedly fix my bumper sag, but it actually didn't work at all. The problem i found is with the last clip that goes with the headlight bracket.

Forgive the stupid question... I'm looking to surprise the bf with the new 2017 bumper. He has a 2013 brz which has the same old style bumper as your 2016 model. I just wanted to confirm that all I would need to get for him are the parts listed above in the description. Looks great! I have a '13 grey BRZ and was considering it, and I'm not sure it would be worth it because it's such a dark colour, I can barely tell the difference. I think the 2017 bumper is great for the lighter colors!

Imo the 2017 BRZ's bumper doesn't look better or worse than the 2016's. It looks a lot better in person than on the internet. Did you have to modify your headlights to fit at all? It doesn't look like you did. I'm still think that I'll make a custom grille. Someone posted some nice photos about how they did it and they did a great job Hopefully the dealership wont fuck me over. I bought 15 pop clips - the big ones that hold the bumper on - and they set me back $45. They made a nice click going in but screw going to the dealership. Their service for oil change + tire rotation was about $95 which is rather reasonable. I just ordered 6 quarts of oem 0w-20 oil and an oem oil filter online for $52 + $20 shipping. Next time I'll stop by an auto parts store to skip on shipping but there were some mods I really wanted. Really great vid in case you read this

Were you (or anyone else) able to rotate their fog lights? Mine are currently pointing like a “V” when i turn them on and I would like them to be functional.
You can buy the oem housing from eBay or the dealership. Back then I reused it and worked really well. Its in the video on what I did with my foglights. I am currently running the TS style so its deleted

what headlight bracket is correct? on the description it's Headlight Bracket Left 2017 - 57707CA191 Headlight Bracket Right 2017 - 57707CA181 but on the vid it is 57707CA190 57707CA180 what is the difference
When I went to the dealership I gave them 57707CA191 and 57707CA181 as the parts number. If they have them in stock I would count the number of tabs that can fit. the previous gen had only 4 tabs while the 2017 has 5 tabs.

Hi Bnard. I ordered everything from subaru. You can go to your local dealership and buy everything there. If they do not have it they can ship it to your house. or let you know when they have the part in stock.

The dealership will be able to look up the part number you need and order it for you yes. You didn't have to buy your car at a dealership to order parts.
Helloooo! So I bought a 2013 frs and it came with a 2017 GT86 Front Bumper the sides isn't a complete flush where the headlights and bumper meet. even tho its Toyota i would still need the 2017 headlight Bracket to make it flush, Right? is it the same part as the BRZ??

the color is definitely too red. you might have to leave the car with them so they can get a better match or blend the fenders/hood. sometimes white car be the hardest color to match. auto body paint tech for 24 years now.
if you don't wanna cut the snorkel you can just mod it like this ruclips.net/video/fNsQZmM_7o8/видео.html and the best part is you don't need to remove the bumper.
Hey I3lazin247_ I didn't take the turn signal out. The BRZ models have the turn signal built into the headlight. I took out my DRL and used the always on kit. to make my boomerang my new DRL
Ohh the side markers. you will need a Philips screw driver and remove the screw in the fender liner then. you will need to put your hand in the back of the side maker and pull really hard(make sure it is the side maker and not the back of your bumper). It will feel like you are braking something but you are not.

DaNi i use dioddynamics plug and play always on drl system.
I have them but I'm not sure because the boomerangs are not as bright as the Drls from the 2013
2017 boomerang has 5 times more led. so its plenty bright. some have done mods. to drive more power to the led making them brighter.
Yellow head lights, clear sidemarkers. In Quebec, Canada, you'd get pulled over faster than you can say: Ziptied foglights!

How did you plug in the fogs? doesn’t the other bumper have the DRL harness to the fog lights?
The drl are a separate plug. On the harness they don't need to be plugged for the fogs to work.

You will need to wire up the drl into the headlight. I happen to have the diodynamic always on which let's me use the drl in the headlights

2013-2016 there are no changes to the bumper design. I just have a 2016 car.
I personally like the 2013 FR-S bumper more than the new one.

Yes was originally but I no longer use Premiums it was to yellow. Im now using Vvivid where it is more of a Tint and less yellow.

It’s legit. Just make sure it’s an authentic Subaru parts dealer. I’m gonna get the bumper for 215. Saves a good amount
