Customs are not fools to believe if you say you purchased in india.they will ask for proof then what will you show when you didn't buy drone in India. During my 1st international travel i volunteered to customs and declared my 1 lakh dslr so that I don't get harresed in return.
But later I ignored because even if they catch me I can show Amazon or Flipkart invoice.

In my case it was below 250g category for personal purposes and that allowed based on a news article sometime back.

for nano series drones like mini 3 or 4 pro you don't need license here in India. If you have UIN then it means its records are there with DGCA so you're good. The green channel should be best in this case.

No don’t do that. In bag scan it can be recognised so carry according to airline and country departure rules.

Mine was not sealed. I checked with the customs while reexporting it and they categorically said boxed or unboxed they will seize the drone. Because as per as article published by DGFT in Feb 2022, international brand drones like DJI, Parrot are prohibited in India. They mentioned that given the scale, they can’t check each and every person but on random scans through green channel, they have seized several drones.

If it’s below 250 g like mini 3 pro then legally there shouldn’t be any problem. Safe side keep the drone bill yourself. Please note foreigners are not allowed to fly drones in India by themselves.

Since that is above 250g it is riskier to travel back to India. But if you have proof of purchase 🧾 from India then you can carry it just like other personal items like laptops or camera gears

Yes no problem at all since it’s below 250g drone. And if they ask any question then say that it is u tu our old drone which you brought from India and taking back just like with other electronic items like laptops and camera.
I personally believe it might be some luck as well, i saw nomadic indian his drone was confiscated by indian customs

Foreigners are not allowed to fly drones in India by themselves. They need to ask for any Indian citizen to help them fly as per your direction.

It lasts around 5-6 hours when fully charged. In any case if the drone connection is lost with the controller it will activate RTH (return to home) take off point.

So far it’s great! Haven’t found any issues. It has better wind resistivity than mini 2 .

@@WanderfulSoulmates hello there, first of all it all depends which particular drone model you are carrying with you, if its falls under the mini category i mean below 249 grams than you are good to go , but if it weights above that than it doesnt falls under mini category and u might be needing any xtra documents for that particular country above all , just kindly enquire their drone carrying norms to be sure of it . I have also bought my drone packet along with it nothing happened with me at all. Actually it also depends upon quantity rather than bringing new with box . i faced no issues at all in airport. All the best . Hope it helps u to bring ur drone without any hassle .
